    What to buy from Lashify: Bond and Wand
    What to buy elsewhere: Kiss Falscara remover (removes lashes), Ardell Soft Touch Individual lashes (they look super natural as they taper on the ends), Individual Korean style lashes (noticing that it seams that some of the lashes are based on them. Mermaid, fishtail, A-lashes, ect)

      Lashify charges so much and their customer service is so so… kind of the snobs of lashes…you need to buy multiple cartridges to get a lash map… 75 for 3, Lilac St 21$ for 3… though price is going up. There are a lot of great lashes out there for a better price. PS KISS is still in Stores …yep

    • @TonayaNoel
      @TonayaNoel  Год назад +7

      What a triumph! Congratulations on finishing chemo! You may find the “brick stacking” technique useful with the diy lash systems. Rather than apply the lash segments side-by-side, you would apply the lash segments to slightly overlap each other. One end of your lash segment would slightly overlap the end of your neighboring lash segment. This should help you overcome the occasional gaps with no problem 😊. Lashify has a really helpful tutorial on the technique on RUclips .

    I love my Lashify lashes but have also tried a more affordable lash from other brands as well . I think if you have no issue with the price point of Lashify, you honestly get what you pay for. The lashes are high quality, very comfortable and the removal process is not harmful to your natural lashes. I was able to create a beautiful eyelash look with other lashes but there were not as comfortable on my my eyes as Lashify. Some did not come with the remover and if it did the remover was strong and did irritate my eye a bit causing them to water. Bottom line for me is: it's good to have options. Thanks for sharing your opinion. 😊

      Curious have you tried lilac street lashes before their lashes are very light weight and they don't however if you have not tried them my highly recommend

  • @beautybymarinda
    @beautybymarinda 2 года назад +10

    I tried 5 different brands. Including lilac st. I can't use lilac st. Because they don't have a mild curl option... All of their options have a curl that's somewhere between a C and a D curl. I have hooded eyes and the curly styles tickle my inner corner. So I need something with an A or possibly a B but I prefer an A curl on my inner corner... But I like the look of curled lashes. So, with Lashify, I can customize my look as opposed to having a pre-selected style. I can put a plushy tame (A curl) on my inner corner and use stardust (C curl) on the rest so I get that curled look without the tickle. Another reason... They have colored options. Like a brown instead of black. Black lashes are way too harsh on my skin. They also have fun prismatic colors for the holidays or fun occasions. The customizability is worth a little higher cost for me. And one more reason, they look the most natural. They don't have that shiny fake plastic look to them. They look like real lashes.

For a brand that is expensive and “premium” they absolutely need to have a better return policy. It’s unacceptable to not refund if the product is damaged or broken. Even with your 25$ remover-it’s a waste of money and they can’t be bothered to refund even though you’ve probably spent 100s (or more).

It’s probably user error because I’d gotten away with a week or two before, but I ended up getting lash extensions for vacation and I can’t go back. On top of that, I don’t love the attitude in the group anymore. I never thought of them as being the first to do that because I’d already heard of people using Ardell that way, including myself. I just got Lilac St and put them on a couple days ago. I got the clear adhesive. So far so good! I am really hoping they continue to work. I am lazy and hate applying lashes every day. You really can't beat lilac st price point. I subscribe to both lilac and lashify did an every other month delivery and it's great! I no longer to lash laundry. If you purchase up to 18 lashes on lilac st the cost is 4/box. When you do the math compared to Lashify 18 lilac lashes are 4/5 lashify gossamers
    Lashify is definitely the luxury brand and their quality is much more consistent. I've also tried urbandollz, flutterset, lynx... And I did not like those.
    For me, I'll stick with lashify and lilac

    • @TonayaNoel
      @TonayaNoel  Год назад +1

      I recently tried Urbandollz and not only is it the most expensive lash system it is also the worst . Their lash remover is great though. My lashes slip off with a snap of a finger but it is oil base and does eliminate the possibility of lash re-wear. I can’t say I had any interest in trying flutterset or lynx but only because their styles are shorter and more natural than I would typically go for but the concepts are cool. I would agree with you in Lashify’s quality consistency . That’s a very solid point. I maybe only had 2 bad batches with Lashify which were cramped, zig zagged fluffies . However with Lilac St, no box is quite ever the same . Close but not the same. When I mentioned it in a video that one of my Lilac St pairs didn’t quite look as it did online the owner responded that it was because each pair is handmade which I can respect but we all like knowing we’re going to get exactly what we ordered and for the most part with Lashify you’re going to get just that.

      @@TonayaNoel oh yeah...I didn't like their glue or their lashes, but their remover is fantastic
      With lilac st I rarely get consistency. The midnights always look different so I'm not sure what the true look is. Sometimes they're as full as icons, other times they're sparser than the first batch I received. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
      It's annoying, but it's so cheap it's hard to care enough. They're also a bit slower on innovation, but again... Their price point...😅

    Out of everything that you (and anyone else reading) have tried, what glue/bonder/sealer do you prefer?? I’m thinking I need to order bits and pieces from lots of companies! Lol I’ve heard lashify still has the best, just pricy. Do you agree with that? Just trying to figure out which company has best what. Thank you!!

      I currently use a combination of lash glues from Lilac St! Both the Pro Lash and regular lash glue at the same time. Other glues I've tried that worked well were from Falscara and Calalis on Amazon. Lashify's glue is not bad. The formula just dries out really quickly so you aren't able to get the full use of the tube before the product is no longer usable. Atleast in my experience. I'd say different formulas work best for different people so it may be worth giving multiple brands a try :)

    • @TonayaNoel
      @TonayaNoel  Год назад +2

      Yes! During extended wear, you can use a spoolie and foam lash shampoo (Stacy lash on Amazon) to keep them clean.
      For reuse - Soak them in 91% alcohol for a few hours or overnight to loosen build up and debris . Then wipe away the debris with a clean flat head eye makeup brush .
      If you become a frequent re-user, you can speed up the process of cleaning the lash with alcohol and a ultrasonic jewelry cleaner or even those mini makeup washer machines.

    I’m new to diy lashes . I have tried Lashify, but I didn’t buy my control kit though there website because I wasn’t sure I would like it or not . So I got mine second hand for $60. It’s something about there glue that burns my eyes idk what it is . I’ve only tried the EEs and I like the lashes themselves and the wand is cool as well. I bought a Lix key a few weeks ago I just haven’t made another purchase yet . I got my lilac st lashes order a week ago . And I’m in love with the system . I bought a good amount of lashes , the glue, and the crystal coat . And my eyes don’t burn as much. I may just be using to much glue . I’m kind of hesitant to go back to lashify though because I noticed the band on Lilac st lashes are thinner then Lashify . I may only buy Lashify for special occasions . I’m a more bang for your buck type of women . Great video !

Im not paying 100$$$$++ for lashes that was done by me. Also, Other lashes is more comfortable, lightweight and long lasting than lashify.
