I don't think Clyde liked Jack Ramsey or Mike Schuler.As a rookie, Clyde had to plead for playing time under Ramsey.Ramsey did soothe his nerves before he played in his first all star game.Mike Schuler was a taskmaster and friends with Don Nelson who berated Drexler.I do feel like Ramsey,Schuler, and Nelson were all fabulous coaches.Clyde enjoyed playing under Rick Adelman, a Player's coach and Portland went to two NBA Finals under Adelman.You simply don't put a lid or restrictions on somebody as talented as Clyde Drexler.I see mutual respect between Chick Hearn and Clyde.

He looks better in 2021 than he did in 1988.
Hated his coach, says great things about him publicly. Keep in house problems in house. That’s the professionalism today’s players don’t get.
