I watch these “millionaire’s apartments” videos in the same way I watch videos of other RUclipsrs about cheap small apartments: with curiosity but not the slightest interest as I would/could never live in either of these two types of lodging. As a real estate agent you are hoping to reach some very rich client, and I wish you all the best luck for that. What is lacking in RUclips are examples of rentable condos for the middle to upper middle class clientele (which constitutes a good part of expats) in the 30,000 to 60,000 baht/month range.
Stayed in the Skyview next to it last year. Didn’t even know it was there, wow. Will be back in 2 weeks time, won’t be able too afford this though! Won’t even be able to afford the Skyview again 😂
hey Jeroen, I heard that Texas Chicken outlets are shutting down in Thailand. Is the one near Phrom Phong BTS closed? It was one of my favourites and I used to visit every time. Still sad to see it closed. If you remember that's where I bumped into you a couple of months ago.
Are you free this Sunday, Oct 27 from 3 pm? There will be a royal barge procession from around Rama 8 Bridge to Wat Arun. The king will be offering monk robes as part of the end of the Buddhist Lent. 52 barges and 2,399 oarsmen w/ the main barge, the Golden Swan, being 130 yrs old bulit during King Rama 5 and completed King Rama 6. The procession is 1.28 km long. This pomp and ceremony follows the ancient protocol procedure to the last detail. It's going to be spectacular! Doesn't happen too often. Last time was during King Rama 10's coronation 4 yrs ago.
Thats the suite Nicolas Winding Refn stayed in during the filming of only god forgives. If you watch the documentary by his wife about that time you can see them with Ryan Gosling hanging out on that exact balcony. Also some of the movie is filmed in this suite. I am referring to the second unit filmed.
@@globaltravelmateif you watch the movie or doco called 'my life directed by Nicolas Winding Refn' you can see some of the night shots of bangkok from there. Personally I think it has the best view in bangkok.
@globaltravelmate in the movie and documentary ('my life directed by Nicholas Winding Refn') there are some pretty cool shots at night time. I personally think it has the best view of bangkok as it includes the green lung but also an almost cinematic view of the west facing city skyline that is improved by the building not being so tall that it feels disconnected to the city.
It is definitely good and affordable for the rich to stay in this Penthouse with good interior design but lack of is the exterior design for the balcony was not designed to have a roof covered over it from rain and sunshine. This means the tenant will not get the chance to use and sit in the balcony to enjoy the view and fresh air, especially during daytime whenever it rains or hot sunny days, also not sure the heavy rains water will be prevented and affected from entering the interior room or not.
Not overly impressed with those places, the lounge is brilliant, but the kitchens are not worth 50,000 baht a month let alone 500,000. And the bathrooms, nope. They need pulling out and renewing. You'd think they might clean the outside of the building from time to time. Those tiles are filthy.
