A very powerful tool. I remember watching your Luminar 4 video on luminosity masks 3 years ago. It is so disappointing that Neo does not spend their efforts on bringing back serious tools like that but puts their efforts into fluffy effects like star, neon and glow.

It is a great tool, and I agree we need it in Luminar again. I spoke to them about that recently and am hopeful that it gets added - it's incredibly useful. Thanks for watching.

Thank you, Jim, for this little tutorial. Please continue providing tutorials on the Lightroom Masking features. Lightroom Classic is where I start all of my editing before going to other editing apps. I always learn something by watching your RUclips Videos.

Jim, I apologize for going off topic, but what kind of gloves do you use, if any, shooting in cold weather? I use the Heat system for Arctic Temps, but they are a bit overkill for much of the time, and I am about to retire my old Freehands pair. Thanks.

No worries and I have a pair from Vallerret and they are great. photographygloves.com/

Hi Adrian, thanks for watching my videos. Can you clarify why you didn't understand what I was talking about this time? Did I use confusing words or examples? Was I just plain confusing in some way? Maybe I jumped in without enough background explanation? Something else? I always want to make useful instruction videos so any feedback is appreciated so I can be more clear next time. Thanks! 🙏🏻

That seems more like your problem than Jim's! I found this video simple, straightforward, and easy to understand. I have found opening up a lightroom photo and follow along performing the steps in synch with Jim's makes it very easy to not only understand but remember. And I'm 80 years old and learning new things can be a challenge!
