    Hi Christian, what a beautiful image that must have been taken some time to capture as a HDR panorama ? Love your lightroom workflow especially all the dodging and burning using lightrooms brilliant masking features ! I think the next thing Adobe should do with lightroom is to improve its sharpening tools. I'm still sending my images into photoshop at the end of workflow for sharpening. Brilliant video !!

    Hi Christian! I love your very understandable explanations. Please include the steps omitted in this video, like filling in the corner. Please also show in one of your next videos how you create the white border around the image final image, which makes it look very professional! Keep up the great work!

    • @ThePhlogPhotography
      @ThePhlogPhotography  3 месяца назад

      Thanks a lot for the comment! I thought the cleaning up process would be boring since I only used the spot healing brush and the content aware fill :/
      For the white border, this was created in the video editing programm, usually I dont add any white border around my photos for social media or printing. But if you want to, I think there is an export option to export with border in Lightroom, I will look into it!

    Christian, This is the sensational masks application for the beautiful landscape photos. Your brilliant presentation focuses on the foreground, the subject, and the background by explicit illustration of LG, RG and color rang masks, while emphasizing the exposure and highlights, shadows and whites.
    I am very grateful to you for your extraordinary performance and your spectacular camera capture. The landscape photo is dramatically enhanced by the stunning details of masks. Great inspiration and insight from you!

    Hello Christian, as usual a very helpful and insightful video. I have been a fan you yours for a while, you are one of the very few(if not the only one ) out there who explains in detail and also shows the entire process behind it. I was interested in knowing your takes on wildlife photography editing. There is no one in that field who explains with detail like you do. Would you like to try and edit a few wildlife images? I can send some my RAWs over. If you have the time that is.

    • @ThePhlogPhotography
      @ThePhlogPhotography  3 месяца назад

      Hey, thank you so much for commenting! I do want to get more into wildlife photography (I already bought the Sony 200-600 lens) but I need some practise with it before I start showing these photos here on RUclips. There will be more wildlife in the hopefully near future! :-)

    another great video! I always wonder what the difference is between using the Calibration Hue/Saturation sliders versus something in the Color Mixers or Color Grading tabs? Since it exists and you do use both Im sure there is a difference but any info would be great!

    • @ThePhlogPhotography
      @ThePhlogPhotography  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for the comment! The calibration tool is a bit strange.
      In the hue panel, if you bring down the blue hue, it ONLY changed the blues of the photo. If you bring down the blue primary hue in the calibration panel, this will not only effect the blues, BUT ALSO the colors on the opposite site of the color wheel (that would be somewhere in the orange range), thus more is changing in the image

      If you dont see these profiles were you working on jpeg photos? Since these profiles are only available for raw files. If you still cant see them, there is a "browse" button in the profiles drop down menu, you can click on that and should be able to find all the adobe profiles! :-)

    Great work, you are the mask artist per se. I would have defined the stone at the front with the brush and then worked on the stone, is that wrong?

    • @ThePhlogPhotography
      @ThePhlogPhotography  3 месяца назад

      Thanks so much for commenting! You could have added some more highlights / attention to the rock in the front, nothing wrong about that! Now that I'm thinking about it, it might actually make the shot more interessting with some added highlights on the rocks!

  • @vonkske53

    Amazing how you master masking. For my taste the adjustments on the yellows are too unnatural, almost fluorescent.
