CV Wood also known as Woody worked with a man named Harrison “Buzz” Price. They were hired by the Disney’s to find the land and conduct location and economic studies for Disneyland.

My parents used to take my older brother (I wasn't born yet) on a daytrip to Freedomland each summer for a few years and they all really loved it and talked about it for years and years afterwards. Freedomeland would reenact the Chicago Fire a few times a day and the old time fire wagons would put out the fire. And there's be outlaws in the Old West area.

Who names their kid Cornelius Vanderbilt Wood?! I know who Cornelius Vanderbilt was (the famous Commodore of railroads), but why was Mr. Wood named after him?

The book “3 years in wonderland” in about him. It says he was named after his father and hated his name so he went by his nickname Woody.
