Many thanks for your thoughts, tips and advice.
As a karate-ka I am always looking for various attacks outside the norm, plus ways to deal with them. I recall seeing footage of liver shots and just how effective that were. Time and time again the opponent was completely 'done for'. My mind then went to not only how to 'deliver the liver' but equally importantly, how to defend against it. Thanks again.

Excellent video and instruction. Best I've seen. Keep going, you're due a lot more subscribers than this. I know it seems.. wrong, especially with your tight, no BS videos, but I do think reminding people to like and subscribe for more goes a long way to growing a channel. Some people just forget.

Really informative video and great exposition of how to set these up - good job! Quick technical question: I notice when you throw your straights (jabs, crosses), your fist is inverted (internally rotated) so that your thumb is pointing down. Is this because, in the sport of boxing, you don't have to worry about protecting your elbow from being locked or smashed, and likewise, not worried about injuring the small knuckles as you would in a bare-knuckle, combat situation? Or is there another reason? Just curious.

Over rotating the punch like that rolls your shoulder into your jaw which covers it up. If my opponent slips and counter punches, my jaw has some protection.

Excellent merthodology. I wonder if thew same techniques can be useful to the other side. May be, it appears cumbersome but adds to the variety, or not? Paul,68

Do you mean against a southpaw, or reverse the punches of the striker from left to right hand?

You can drop a big guy with body shots. You can also use strong body punches to expose their head. Thanks for watching!

muscles or abs dont matter in a fight, what matters is technique and power in your strikes, most important strikes are vital areas like upper lip, nose, chip, solar plexus , liver, and groin area
