Later this week, we have a pretty special #IBoughtOne video to share with you featuring none other than Paul Wallace of Supercars of London In the meantime, checkout where it all began with Jon Quirk #Mini #PaulSmith
This was an exceptionally done piece. The car, the commentary, the camera work, the location, and it was just the right length (play time). I felt like I was watching a Petrolicious or DRIVE network or ElectricFederal production. Really just a lovely piece to watch, bravo guys!
I remember seeing an video a couple of years ago about Jon's Mini, but it was laid up then. Looks like the same car, so good to see it back on the road.
Nice piece. Certainly takes me back to my first car, a '62 Morris Cooper 997 bought in September of '69 for $250 US. I love my '09 Cooper S but would still love to have an another early one also.
Good vid, Though maybe better to call Mini a brand, at most, before BMW got their hands on it, it was still very much part of Rover. Shouldn't be anything wrong with the gear shift either, it just doesn't need springs, as a H shaped gate makes 'em easier to find than one with more legs for unneeded gears on a 700kg car. It's all the other cars that are odd* - do you prefer to have your computer keyboard vertical, or at a Mini steering wheel like incline? *a throw back to ancient steering boxes

There's no doubt that the original Mini was a design classic, John Quirk tells us why he bought one!
Saw one on Auto Trader perfectly restored for............ £3000
Roger Crosby
At least double if not treble that price now!
Thanks for this video Autotrader, love minis and the owner knows his onions on them, brilliant :)
When BMW came up with the new design Mini enthusiasts scoffed and were right. Nothing replaces the original and one and only Mini.

Thank you so much G Man! Means a lot to hear those comments, hopefully there will be more to come!

Just makes me want to go get my Paul Smith out the garage and take it for a drive!
classic minis are my favourite
Nice one, a bit like the Petrolicious car vids on RUclips. Was good to see the format in an English setting. Great camerawork and editing too.
Wonderful. I want my Mini back! Miss you Rita...
Great video buddy, really enjoyed that. Still have never been out in that bad boy. One day soon :)
It's Petrolicious on a budget! Thanks for your comments, cameraman's name is Antony Quintin and he will be pleased!
I would love to have one someday..
Lovely Mini and a great video. Just makes me want to take my 98 Cooper out of the garage. Nothing beats driving a Mini!
Good vid,

This video makes me feel so at ease paying $8K cash for a classic this week. :')
What year is this car?
can anyone tell me the location of the filming at 03:21
Naz Mohammed Hi Naz, The filming was done in the Lake District, Cumbria, UK. We will get back to you with an exact location.
Naz Mohammed Hi Naz,
It's one of the roads that runs from Ambleside to Hawkshead in the Lake District.
Griso and a Mini?? I have a 99 Mini, a v11 and a V7r. Love the Griso...
It's been 18 years and I still want one.
Indeed it is the same car! New shocks, wiring loom and I've left the body as is. Took me far too long I know!
There is only one mini, and its not a bmw, great story .
Great car
Have a white PS Japanese import with air con as standard
He likes his detail, but aren't the paul smith's supposed to have a pair of spotlamps?
