On paper it sounds like a really good idea. I could see how this could back fire fairly hard though. If they were going to do this it would have to reset their up punches every time they got punched and make it so they can't be hit again for at least a week or so. Also there would have to be some way to keep ppl from going overboard with the beating and a way to prove that they punched the person in question.
What happens if it turns out there are more douchebags than non-douchebags in the world? You might get people 'up punching' women they don't like in the games industry... for example..
And James has increasingly been cast as the angry, aggressive dude (see: Social Anxiety Fear Factor). I'm not sure how to feel about either of these developments.

HA! I love the idea, but it is too idealistic (and illegal) to work. Even if you could make an app and have people go out to punch others (legally), it would be easy to game the system and have a bunch of people hit who didn't really deserve it like the A-holes Graham played or Paul talked about. :D Good video though.
