People who see Cthulhu's true form are driven mad? The female character is the only one who can see the Cthulhu's true form? How is this not an appropriate metaphor for how teenagers act in relationships?
In all seriousness, aren't we due for Hollywood to take a stab at Lovecraftian horror pretty soon? I gotta think it's the one horror genre they haven't milked for every cent yet.
+Exhausted Elox It would be sweet if they did one where they never reveal who the monster was, (at all), because if you looked it it, you'd go insane. So if it was shown, it would not meet expectations and destroy immersion. Cloverfield, but really good and more unseen monster.
Hm.. I saw this back when it first released, long before i knew who LRR was, because someone posted it on /r/Lovecraft.. i guess I've been a fan for longer than i knew.
I have this book. It's called Awoken. I bought it for a laugh after I read the description, and it's really fascinatingly weird in a twilight-esque way.
I think mermen could absolutely be the next teenage romance monsters. They never wear shirts, water looks sexy, and the beach is a great background, plus they can’t leave the water so there’s the forbidden angle ready made. Think gender swapped little mermaid
Shoulda gone with Nyarlathotep and swapped the gender roles. Maybe animate it to be different and throw in some humour and a load of obscure references. Surefire success.
They totally ripped off my one god play, 'I was a teenage Cthulhu" for this. I can't believe that in five years, my lawyer hasn't got me a settlement. Then again, my lawyer hasn't been the same since he came back from his meeting with Cthulhu. Well played, LRR.
I love this skit. I actually do love the idea of a siren tween drama. And I suppose Ilithids (Mind Flayers) from D&D would make a viable Cthulhu substitute.
It was fan voted so blame them lol. Nella happened to mention that they wanted it to be Lovecraftian when they asked the fans to pick the love interest. She meant it in a way that it should be horrible. Fans thought she was being literal, so we got this.

Exactly my thoughts
They could try something from D&D. It'll be called, "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder."
*Ahem* "Beauty is in the eye of a Beholder"
That after credits stinger made me laugh harder than it should.
Is this the plot of Shadows over Innistrad?
That feeling when they are playing an ad about a movie called siren before this.
Why have these guys fallen off the radar? Dry dry humor. I❤️ it

+Exhausted Elox The Mouth of Madness was a pretty awesome film.
@@scw55 Bird Box accidentally'd that one. What did you think?
Aren't most Hollywood romances unknowable horror shows?
The burrito thing is honestly the best movie idea we've heard yet.
It would certainly be a *lot* better than most of the dreck that gets to theaters these days....
Hm.. I saw this back when it first released, long before i knew who LRR was, because someone posted it on /r/Lovecraft.. i guess I've been a fan for longer than i knew.
This has always been one of my favourite sketches.
I was wondering where the "Demolish a Mexican (meal)" quote knocking about in my head came from.

... Isn't this Awoken?
Glad I'm not the only familiar with "Serra Elinsen"
+BrotherAlpha This is from 2011. Check the date on Awoken.
R3Testa
I know. I doubt either of them copies the other. It is just interesting that this premise was used by both people.
I am really glad you guys are posting these here I thought they were lost.
I love this channel it definitely deserves more subscribers, the after credits add on was brilliant! LMAO

Yes!
Let's also add Cthugha and Hastur to the main cast.
I'd love to be able to pitch movies to Graham off the top of my head
So we can see this on Netflix or Hulu any day now, right?

I would unironically watch a teen movie where the male lead is a burrito. There's a lot you can do with that.
I find this to be a very effective chipotle ad
A sneak peek into the secret world of Hollywood pitches! ;)
Someone tell LRR that they're still updating the credits to say ©2015
"Imagine If You Will"... The Scary Door? :P
Wow that stinger got me
I feel like there should be fan art of a dark brooding Cthulhu
did'nt the nostalgia chick wrote this as a joke? (the cthulu thing)
+ido m She did. It's hilarious.
+ido m Present to you Awoken : www.goodreads.com/book/show/18244295-awoken

2013? Two years late. :)

this does look entertaining
*Muffled Haiyore! Nyaruko-San in the distance*
Also the webcomic: Ow, My Sanity!
:) That end.
good stuff................
..........i was talking about buritos
The Dutch... AGAIN!
It's Dutch: angles revenge, don't know what it's about, only know that's what Google said
"Yes!"
So I'm guess Gir or Deadpool pitched the movie idea in the stringer?
So, turns out it was zombies. Though the vampires are still trying to hang on.
or you just watch: Haiyore! Nyaruko-san
Also the webcomic: Ow, My Sanity!
I'd watch “The Dutch 2”
So just telling Graham the boy is a Cthulhu gets him to strip? Interesting......
I wonder if these guys are secretly behind shape of water. 2018 jokes!
work with a succubus
Apparently Cthulu disliked this video.
