Absolutely spot on analysis about Milan, especially about Maldini and Zlatan. I’ve always said that Ibra is allowed to have his ego and arrogance as a player, he’s deserved every bit of it. But as a manager/director? He’s an amateur and completely out of his depth. He spends 80% of the mercato talking cryptic message about 7 days of god creating Milan, completely tone depth and unaware of what the team actually needs.. and now on a break when the team is crumbling infront of our eyes. He needs to earn his stripes as a director, out of his depth and it’s showing. Milan had something with Maldini. We won a scudetto we really shouldn’t have won with a shoe string budget, and like mentioned he built a strong team cohesion. He had the pull to bring in talent. Since his dismissal and the red bird ownership, the club is sliding back into the banter era. It’s a hard watch as a Milan fan looking at Inter, Juve etc and their ambition to win.
great episode guys. I don't have time to follow all the teams of course but this episode really gave a good overview of the whole league with what happened over the summer as well.
Thuram's weakness I noticed last season was that sometimes he held the ball for too long when it was time to pass forward or shoot, but in these 3 games there was none of it
As always another top notch episode, and you kinda already answered my question I was thinking that I do feel that ever since the sale of Tonali and the sacking of Maldini and Massara, that they key members of the squad (leao, Theo, Tomari, Mike Maignan, Bennacer, Calabria) don't trust management anymore. I do worry were the direction of this club is going, I totally agree theory can only take you so far..

About the Theo & Leao issue, I think people are blowing things out of proportion. For anything that can be explained by malice, stupidity gives us a far better explanation. (Full disclosure: I'm a Milan fan) Milan are 1-0 for the entire first half. Minute 62 and 66, Lazio score 2. Minute 72 Leao scores. They pick up the ball from the back of the net set themselves up. But NO! Cooling break. Try to put yourselves in their shoes: Seriously, what is your immediate thought ? If it's not along lines of "WTF!? Now!? Really!?" You are lying to yourselves. An equalizer is a massive shift in momentum and the cooling breaks killed it. Theo and Leao wanted to keep it going and they did that by ignoring the cooling break and stay in their starting positions "ready to go". They were both probably very pissed off for being dropped and were out to show that it was a mistake. I'm not defending them. The correct thing to do in this situation is to regroup and try to regain momentum later. But they refused to do it out of anger at the situation. Do they dislike Fonseca? Maybe, but that's extrapolation and speculation.
hahaha I LOVE that first part. Im stealing it "For anything that can be explained by malice, stupidity gives us a far better explanation." BRILLIANT! Did you come up with that yourself?
Is Pioli on gardening leave and can he be brought back? I know in Italy it isn't unheard of for a sacked manager to be brought back because of how contracts are structured.
Fonseca dropped first 3 Milan captains....somethings fishy and probably he'll end up sacked in a month or so.....and we can have Pioli back....this is what people call "progress".
None of the people actually managing the team have a clue about what it is AC Milan. They got rid of Maldini who really represented AC Milan to replace him with a bunch of people who doesn’t have a clue about football let alone AC Milan glorious history.
On inzaghi not getting the credit and if he was Spanish everyone would be salivating over him. The first thing is he plays a 532 formation. It’s not a 352. So he plays 5 defenders which is defensive. When inter are playing in Europe they’ll often have 5 at the back. In the Spanish league and in the premier league it is all about attacking football. Playing 5 at the back is defensive and it’s not sexy. Playing that formation is why inter couldn’t beat Atletico last season. He prioritises the defence over attack which other top leagues don’t do. It’s a big reason why he won’t get a job in the premier league. he doesn’t play wingers he full backs at wing back. Inter do play good football at times but will be found out against top teams in Europe. They might get through by playing on the counter attack but they won’t dominate games against a top European team.
Only he doesnt. He plays a 3-5-2 that's very fluid and attacking. Thinking a coach is defensive by simply looking at formation is silly. The identity of a coach isnt locked to formation. The reason why Inter didnt beat Atletico wasnt due to lack of chances created, but due to inability to kill off those chances.
@@BobbyMarley718he won’t get another job because he’s so defensive. The owners of top premier league clubs want attacking football not defensive football.
@@dshannon565he was always that way and got hired twice. And he even left Tottenham they didnt even fire him with his terrible play. Your point is invalid stop it. Epl clubs like any other leagues wants winners, saying inter dont play attractive football your just wrong.
Seems Bologna would end up fighting for relegation. They couldn't sign one proven no. 9 with the money they got this season. Empoli to survive 🙏🙏🙏. Kean for 20 goals overall. 3 down.🟣🟣🟣.

I'm Nerazzurro so I follow only Inter closely, but Conte's Napoli got me curious, not gonna lie

"With France, Belgium and another team..." 🤣
haha
The league just started what kind of holidays is he going for
hahahahahaha
Zlatan does not go on holidays.... The holiday goes with Zlatan.
Lukaku is Conte's favorite Teddy Bear 😂
hahaha
Great episode, personal opinion Roma will be lucky to get in top 8, love De Rossi but I’m not convinced at all.
Thanks man! We'll see in May =)
Really?
❤ the show!
Thanks Dom
Great video!!
Thanks man!
Glad you enjoyed it
AC Milan is a group of players, not a team
That does seem to be the case

Allegri for azzurri. Allegriball 1-0 is enough for me as long as we play in 2026 wc.
YES!!!

Rudi García 🫱🏻🫲🏽 Fonseca

Fans are not happy. they clearly are unable to manage AC Milan properly Zlatan and the others should resign as they don’t know what they are doing.
It's not looking good.
I can't stand Theo Hernandez. Not because I'm an Interista, but because he's a trashy sportsman. Now he's disrespecting his own club.
TBF he did put out a statement walking it back
