These Baggio interview is great I remember being a kid in Nigeria happy Italy losing because they knocked us out in the last 16. Now I see things in a different light and realise this man was so strong mentally
I miss Football Italia. It was great watching the Gazzetta magazine show on saturday mornings and the live matches on sunday afternoons. Hard to believe it's been 22 years since it ended. I'd love to see it back on channel 4, even if it was just the Gazzetta show.

Words can't describe the levels of nostalgia experienced whilst watching these episodes. I noticed that the bedding music of some of the highlights sounds like the Scrapheap Challenge theme tune. I can imagine Captain Dick Strawbridge squeezing a Rover V8 motor into the guts of a mobility scooter whilst Batigol smashes in a brace against Brescia. Good times. Also, Ronaldo at Inter is peak football.

Piacenza were always a handful on their own turf, a tough away match for anybody.
