Imo WG should reduce the max amount of fires on Cruisers to 3. Same for DDs. And ffs, mid tier cruisers need heals, why dont they get them!? Its just beyond me.
Because there was a time when mid tier cruisers were meant to teach cruisers gameplay.
@@connycontainer9459 Playing correctly but getting overmatched into oblivion anyways without being able to heal some of that back only teaches you the imbalance of the game.

I really love the vids they have been making me a better player. I have been playing on and off since BETA. You force me to think and revaluate how I perceive the game. WOWS has such a high skill ceiling it's what keeps me coming back.
Hot take? The 10 seconds up and 60 seconds down DCP should be the standard for cruisers.
The ability of players to pick the only option which guarantees a loss, out of the bucket full of win options, is mind boggling.
Thanks for the review and commentary. I also received one of these cruisers in Xmas crate and did not know what to make of it. I'm still trying make up my mind about investing in the upgrade's but I guess i will play a few more matches to see how it goes.
Another great examination. Nobody digs into the mechanics and their impact on gameplay the way hagos does.

How you didn't smash the citadel of the Santander when it came around the corner amazes me. If i breathe on a Santander it blows up.
For someone Santander is one shot, and for others it is pure unsinkable zombie ship and that goes for many ships. Example: for me Napoli is not a cockroach that survives encounter with me to come later in flames of vengeance.
@smaug9617 the first time I encountered a Napoli, I dunked on it for 2 cits on a lob shot half blind over an island and then 1 more cit to put it down. Then I learned Napoli had a hard to hit cit! I was like, really? Lol
@@joedanker3267to be fair Napo cit is only troll at both close range and without 30mm overmatch or improved pen angles. The second you overmatch 30mm armor, have improved pen angles, or its linger range the citadel is very easy to smash
@@hagostaeldmann yeah, irrc it was the Alabama AP that crushed the Napoli cit for me. Improved pen angle, right?
Was getting all excited about this and watched it all the way through.......then at 54:00 found out that you cannot get this without gambling on crates!

@@hagostaeldmann jinan is kinda nutty as well these days in pubs, yeah its situational but man playing it after playing a bunch of other superlight CL games, i really enjoyed curbing BBs in that thing

Radar is great, but survivability is King.
Also Salem has the same DCP. It is only Salem though, I don't think any other cruiser has it.
@@IntelCorei-KProcessor-go2to Salem has an improved cooldown but not improved action time. Sevastopol and Tianjin are the only cruisers with 10s duration DCP.
@@hagostaeldmann I see, I missed that fact. Tianjin was originally going to have limited DCP like Sevastopol's but they changed it in ST iirc

Smoke Mino is pretty useless in ranked though. I tend to view smoke as better in randoms and radar in ranked.
Frustrating having smoke Minos constantly who take up your cruiser slot and don't end up actually doing anything.
Sure, I'd also not recommend Tianjin in ranked over riga for same reason
Game looks so much cleaner and watchable without those goofy mods

Random behavoir is not "Purplexing" they just don't understand as you do or see the same things.
Plus, I bet this game has as many 40+yo's who have never played video games in their entire lives.. lots of guys just love ships or were in the navy. "The Thinking Man's Action Game" :D
