My mom died from cancer this year. This movie to spoke to this experience. I cried so damn hard during this movie. She was involved in music her entire life. These connections meant so much to me.

Lupita and Joseph are unmatched together. I don't mind focusing on the characters more than the aliens. Not knowing anything about the aliens except what you'd know trying to survive them, makes you feel you're in the characters shoes. I get saying "I'm not a dog/cat/bird/guinea pig person," but to write off an entire species using the word hate makes about as much sense as making the same claim for a group of people. Cats (dogs, etc.) have personalities and enough intelligence to be individuals. Unless someone is late-stage dealing with the trauma of having been mauled by cats as a young child, lumping them all together as something to be reviled just ... makes someone seem narrow-minded and insular. I know everything I just said diminishes this, but I do want to say I love watching you guys, including and especially Blake. That's part of the reason it's so hard to hear someone talk about cats that way. Blake, I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed. ;-) And having said all that, this is actually my favorite of the three. You can judge me accordingly, lol.
What most viewers of these movies have to remember is that the meteor shower that brought the creatures to Earth, had ground impacts across several continents. The largest fragment making impact in Mexico. The military may have contained the ones on Manhattan mostly, but this infestation runs deep.
John Krasinski brought on Michael Sarnoski who is a very popular indi drama director for the specific reason of not wanting every film in the franchise to be a sci-fi horror/ thriller specifically, this film is much more contained and small focused on the characters relationships which was intentional, there are three more films coming and a game but they aren’t all necessarily going to be focused as much on the horror aspects of the franchise some might be more action some might be more contained some might be more horror focused but i love that john Krasinski is keeping the franchise divers.
i think its a good strategy when making a franchise, to do your best to keep things diverse like this so you're not making like 7 sequels of the same thing.
I don't why I love this movie so much. I don't know there's something beautiful about it. I used "hate" dogs until I got a dog. I used to "hate" cats until I was around them. Honestly they are the sweetest. Fun fact: Lupita "Sam" didn't like cats until this movie😂 In conclusion get Blake a cat!

Saw this in theaters and loved it. I liked how this one felt like a larger scale than the first two and gave us frightening prospective of how fast the creatures killed the world. I hope we Frodo and Eric again.
Okay, I must pause this until I first watch A Quiet Place: Day One, then return to continue. Just finished watching it, and here’s my take. The movie didn't really delve into or expand on the alien lore established in the previous two films, but the human story resonated with me deeply. Having lost loved ones to cancer, the emotional journey of the characters hit close to home. I particularly enjoyed the portrayal of two strangers forming a bond, and the Sam and Frodo comparison was spot on with Sam helping Frodo (the cat) to the end with their final farewell as they go their separate ways. On another note, Joseph Quinn from *Stranger Things*-where the Demogorgon, a flower-headed monster, was first introduced-made an interesting connection for me. The aliens in *A Quiet Place* have a similar feature, with their heads opening in a flower-like fashion. It's almost like a full circle moment, with *A Quiet Place* nodding to the iconic creatures that have come before.
this movie isn’t really a horror in my mind, but it’s beautiful and i cried watching it in the cinema. just the strength of human connection and the bittersweet tone really hit hard 🤌🏼
Hope we get more films, so much to still figure out with eating/bodies reproduction and how do you actually fight back if the entire world is reduced to maybe 20% or less
Like the reaction, honestly it bugged me how all those people were walking together. I think if you managed to live through the initial assault you wouldn't be in a huge group like that in the open. Also the guy that tried to pull her out from the car screaming for help... made no sense. Would've been better if the guy went under the car with her, the monster jumped on the car crushing him. As he screamed from the pain, the car would fly off of him and he'd get mauled by the monster as she had to lay quietly beside him. I think that would've made more sense and been more impactful.

This movie is really good but part 1 and 2 were better to me , the only things that I'm confused about is how do the death angels know if they are close to the ground for them to jump off the sides of the buildings and why they didn't just jump off the dock too when they were chasing after Eric when he jumped
How would the creatures know there’s a ledge? If they’re blind I’d think they would just react and run and jab themselves toward the sound, right? Since it’s supposed to be simply a reaction to sound which irritates them to no end. But whatever. lol

I've watched a lot of reactions to this movie and im the only cat person who would've immediately ditched that cat. Cat can survive better than anything in an emergency. We're splitting up Day One.
We usually pre-record things ahead of time, but with the limited amount of time we've had Cojo available, we've had to pick and choose what to record with him. Recently it has been House of the Dragon and Bly Manor. We finally got Insidous 3 recorded a couple of days ago.
This film is very bleak to say the least but I do enjoy the themes and being able to find happiness and joy even in the toughest times. Some of the most beautiful moments of the franchise

The clicking sound they do is a form of echolocation. They can "see" their surroundings the same way bats can.

Please do not invite Matthew back. He is too negative, complains too much, and seems perpetually dissatisfied. He ruined a significant chunk of this reaction for me with each negative, nitpicky, self-righteous comment. He acted like he was forced to watch the movie & be on your channel.
I'm sure he's a nice enough guy, but he brought the vibe down on THIS reaction channel. If he was a regular here, I would not watch another video.

The movie was okey for me because it needed alot of details more than that at least to be related with the day one thing
I expected something stronger than this actully to match with the first two movies but it didn't happen so i think that is it
