This dual motor fat tire ebike does not follow the same copy and paste cookie cutter ebike formula. Everything from the frame to the style to the sticker price are not normal.
In this ebike review we'll examine the Meelod XT600DM to help you decide if this should be on your shortlist of dream ebikes or not.

No way.For $2200 wired or for $1800 kepler. W/adjustable seating position.
Wired has storage, fenders, also 35+ mph, looks like a normal bike at a glance, and good components for $1,700 less. No contest. Still the next e-bike that I want to get.
Facts
I've owned both bikes. You can't go wrong with either one.
@@maximumchargeEVwhich one do you think is better for someone that is 6ft?
@turboleggy both are fine, but if you're heavier the wired will give you more power for climbing. It comes down to cost
Thank you,You give the Specs including Weight limit Specs ....Best Ebike Review Channel hands down!!!
Agree
He also delivers it with such energy.
Fantastic review. It was nice to see you crusing through my old stomping grounds. Im definitely highly considering buying 2 of these
Looks like its only $1900 now. And updated to 52v !! Havent seen a review on the newer xt600dl yet
How would you compare the Meelod XT600DM vs the Ghostcat F2.2? They seem similar but I'm a newb at e-bikes. I absolutely love your reviews. As noted by previous viewers, your reviews are really consistent in their measurements and you keep it all in line and flowing. Great channel.
I LOVE this new direction you are going!!! And I'm SUPER HAPPY that you took the project from start to finish.. This looks amazing, what an amazing transformation, . Hope you continue to make videos like this about machines and technology that you usually have. Well done, the car is solid and has a lot of tangled wires. I'm planning to build a 3000w car that runs very strong😩😫🤣🤣🤣😋😛
? Car?
There's too many bikes about half the price almost as good (or as good).
It's big E-moped
@@Pepadaiexactly
This is too expensive for this market?
it doesnt cost that much, its 1999 on the meelod site.
I watch these videos and I just realize how good the revv 1 and the wired freedom is compared to ebikes much more cost
and the talaria XXX, which is literally $2500 atm 😵
I hope you get a Ristretto 512 to review once it comes out!
A solid bike. Thanks.
You have to review the 2024 E-Ride Pro SS!
Damn you got it! I was dying to see a review on this I was thinking of buying it!! Amazon has it for 3600 with a 300 buck coupon.
I just went from a dual motor 1000w dd and 60v battery in front and a 500w geared with 52v battery with 2 30 amp controllers. Now just a rear 1000w bafang running the 60v battery and a 33amp controller and I get more speed than with the dual. Less weight. Dual I got 34 now 38mph. But I weight 230lbs. I have to get used to how it rides now. It's different. I could not get the front off the ground with the dd in front. Now I can get the front up easy. Practicing wheelies now.
it now costs 1999 dollars
The Ariel Rider Grizzly is a much better value with dual batteries, motors & suspension & hundreds less, Nice review
And 52V battery.
we are factory and can supply XT600 to you with best price
these arent 3700 bucks. they are selling on the site for 1999
@@bettycocker2226the prices change so much so the best bang for back changes daily lol
I am surprised that the controlers in these duel motor ebikes are not programed to gradually ramp up power to the front motor to pervent wheel spin. Something to think about.
And most of them do come with slow start controllers
see if you can review a C3 storm and do a review on Photondrop rear tail lights during the day and night !!! Just wondering if they are extremely bright as they claim ?😊
It is a good looking bike, expensive but damn it looks good.
YOU should try a dirt cheap bike, The Totem Victor 2.0 that costs 500$. I always wanted a proper review with this bike for the California ruggedness. It will be funny and fun for a review please!
Have you done reviews on any of the bikes that are considered built for hunting? Backou, Quietkat, Rambo, Retrospec? I am in the market and strongly considering just saving to get one of the Backou’s. TIA
You can get a Ristretto 512 for less than this with 15% code right now. Patiently waiting for mine to ship.
wow thats a nice neighborhood....id love to live around there
Very nice looking design, looks way better than most dual motor bikes. If I'm reading the numbers correctly, the rear motor is a Bafang G062 which is 1,000 watts nominal, 2,000 peak, and that controller is not enough. The problem with upgrading the controller is the battery not putting out enough amps to support it, and the frame design will make a second battery look awkward. Great bike for looks and sand, but too limited for the price in my opinion.
Yeah, for that price you could get an Onyx CTY2 60v which is just objectively better.
What is the number on the G062 motor? I bet is is 750D which is a 750w bafang not 1000 but curious to know if it is marked G062 750D or 1000D on the motor?
@@BCNYOUebike - Ahh yes, you're right; it is the 750D. It should peak about 1,600 watts, but you have to be carful not to sustain that too long or melt the weak glue Bafang uses for their magnets.
@@FeedMeAQuarter - Definitely agree, I'd much rather have the Onyx.
@@Altema22 Thanks for the confirmation, I had ordered two bikes from China and paid for 1000w bafangs and they promised they checked it and they were in fact that. When they arrived I knew right away they sent me 750w instead. My bikes have two 750w bafangs on them that work really well for climbing hills or mountains in this case but I was really upset I didn't get what i paid for since if they had sent what they advertised I could still make it home on one motor up the steep 1 mile hill to home without pedals, since I cannot pedal because of an injury. They refused to send the proper motors but the good thing is I can replace the inners with 1000w and upgrade that way but then the bottle neck is the controllers that are not meant for 1000w continious so, I have been looking for a bike with dual, true 1000w bafang. Nice looking bike though.
Definitely a sweet-looking bike. It's probably a police magnet too, LOL. I'm over 6 foot and I can just see myself struggling to use that as a decent pedaller. I would look like one of those clowns one sees in a circus riding those tiny bicycles. I'd like to see you mention, sometime, your favorite e-bike that is actually built for comfortable tall-person pedaling that doesn't make you feel like your 50 feet off the ground and need climbing gear to dismount. ;-)
I loved the way your bike screamed along in the 30mphs. As much as I LOVE my torque-sensor on the HoveAlpha ST, the attraction of being able to ghost pedal with a cadence sensor up to high speeds is tempting. I start getting unstable pedaling around 24mph which is sad so I'm kinda stuck around 20mph in practical use.
Love your videos and how you run them all through the same tests and you don't fluff it up. It's actually entertainment as well.
You can put a larger chainring on front to make the cadence slower at high speed, should be easy, you’ll see a large chain ring on a bike coming to the channel soon
@TailHappyTV what do you reccomend for people 6ft or over?
Do mean like a doing a video on a chainring "swap-n-see" on an e-bike? Very interesting! Do the hovalpha if you do and I say that selfishly, LOL. Because of the frame, it can only go so big. I'd swap one out now myself but I don't know squat about them and not sure how much improvements are there to be had. I VERY rarely use the lowest gear. I think that is for climbing trees or something like ensuring you can make it home pedaling with your groceries if the battery is empty.
Another something cool too would be a video discussing must-have upgrades you use on your ebike of choice. I raised my handlebar stem to be a tad more upright, got rid of that seat and put a cloud nine on it. The stock seat must be made of granite or something. Hard as stone. I've gone through several mirrors already, got blinkers and brake lights and the hovsco baskets front and back and fenders, phone holder, and now I'm buying a handlebar extension because I'm out of room to put crap on the handlebars.
I must be doing something good. I could hardly get out of the swap-meet last saturday because of people coming up to admire the thing and talk about it. I'm not sure if all the attention is a good thing or bad, LOL. @@TailHappyTV
$3700 & no fenders!
My Ebycco EB7 pro goes just as fast, adjustable seat, fender and dual 1000w motor and dual suspension for $1,700.
@@VEGITAS4 ripped off
its 1999 on the site.
$3700 for this or half that for the Philodo H8 you tested a month ago...
philodo was like 100x better it could go with ease on the sand and the power it had was deadly and it could also go faster than this scam bike
As an H8 owner this makes me happy to see I scored a good deal. The only thing this has that the H8 lacks is a rear suspension. In return you get a phone holder, rear rack, fenders and in my case , $2000 back in my pocket (got it for 1700)
Ebycco eb9 looks like this but may be better value
I really want this bike.is there any way to ship it here in hawaii?i tryna order thi couple times already but it says they dont ship to hawaii
For a little more you could get a Ristretto 512 A20 which looks like a much better bike in my opinion.
Facts bro
The Philodo H8 has an Amazon coupon right now, $1472 total.
In comparison it's better than this fake motorcycle that most riders can't pedal.
My concern is that with the cheap batteries on the majority of these Ebikes that are not LG or Samsung or UL listed.
I don't want my battery to catch fire or explode.
If I can get past that I'd buy the Philodo H8 right now.
How can you beat $1472 for a dual motor that has easily beat all other dual motor Ebikes he's reviewed within two thousand dollars of this bike.
The H8 is well worth it I've got just over 250 miles on mine since buying it a month ago usinmg it to commute to work and back a 13 mile round trip. never uses more than 1 bar out of 10 on the M5 display tat 25 mph in pas 4 while basically ghost pedaling. It will also legit hit 35 MPH at full throttle in PAS 5 with a 220 lb rider on a flat... if you're brave enough, that fast on a bike can feel a bit scary if you're not used to it.
Those darn colored displays are totally worthless plus most of them they don't give you voltage/current with a battery bar. A good LCD display like the M5 gives you all
the important information on things a person needs to know. The M5 might not look colorful but it's by far the best I've ever seen. The colored displays are meant for
consumer sales. A fella doesn't need PAS with that bike since it has a "Cruise-Control." The Ebike or EMoped has too small a Ah hour battery for the price! Even a 20 Ah
battery is definitely too small a battery for a dual-motor Ebike. TailHappy, don't pedal it you might hit your chin with your knees! 😄
Bike has a torque sensor not a cadence.. fun review..
Is this the 48v version?and do you still have it,I'll buy it.
Looks like motorcycle already.
But i wish i got 1.
It's amazing
Nice, but how do you raise the seat😢
decent power with pedals.. you can get onto class 1 trails like national parks offer . But the price is crazy. sur ron is a better deal, or other monster...but they get into too much trouble pretending to be an e-bicycle. I am stil lwaiting for some facts to get by my s18 aostirmotor. I am beyond feeling I threaded a needle through the pile with that one. price, power, and never in trouble. I limit it to 30mph.
Looks like a re-badge of the Kakuka Rampage that never came out...
Can you do the coswheel gt20?
in all honesty at this price point I'd just go with the telaria X or the E-Ride pro S
Can u review ebycco eb9 please....?
Very lovely Bike!!! I feel the price is totally pointless tho..😊
You should look at the GT 20 e-bike
i hope happy tests that one
$3700 and uses a Tourney de-railer, interesting, although I'll bet most people using this Ebike will probably rarely pedal if ever.
Anybody going with dual motors definitely has a 0% chance of pedalling lol.
Ain't worth my $3700 and I haven't even watched the video. Not worth the time watching for me, but this bike guy does a great job at what he does.
i know you got a lot of comments but i wanted to ask which do you think is better this XT600DM OR DK300MAX they have the same specs i trust you and will be using your link to help out the channel if you get the chance to answer would appreciate im 6'1 340lbs thanks in advance
tough call but I think I personally preferred the dk300max! hope this helps and appreciate you!
thanks brother i was leaning towards the DK300MAX @@TailHappyTV thanks agian my wife and i are big fans glad i can support the channel cheers and ride safe
Dual hub motor a plus but $3700 for a 48v bike I can't adjust the seat on? Pass. Glad I ordered a Wired Freedom.
Basically 4,000 dollars ok hopefully it breaks speed limits, has a turbo boost, and cup holders lol
I could buy a wired freedom, and a philodo H8 for the price of this bike.
DM or DL?
Would this bike be worth it at $2,500?
Another bike that can actually hold my weight.
Wooow 💪🤩
That is one sexy bike!!!!!
Almost as sexy as the girl at the 00:14 mark!
A charger that doesn't take 7hrs minimum?
A half-twist throttle that allows a quickshifter?
a 203mm front rotor stock?
I'm convinced the maker actually rides e-bikes.
Mashallah ❤❤❤first
why do yu move the sand ?
Nice Bike but the price is a killer
I built a 48 volt -1500 watt fat tire snow bike
all from Amazon
1,000 bucks..
And I don't pedal it either
Average top speed is 33mph
(have had it up to 36 mpg)
'm putting another battery on it to double the mileage
$300 fat Tire Bike
$300 1500 watt motor
$400 48v 20ah battery
So if you don't want to spend a ton of money & can turn a wrench & strip Wires
You have less expensive options
This thing _really_ should have a 52V battery.
@@cacogenicist $$
Hard pass for me! The "ride with freedom" troll stickers was the nail in the coffin!
Price buzz kill😮
I'm pretty sure at this point he can assemble a delivered bike in his sleep.
😂
Do me a favor and find me the least expensive, lightest weight, carbon fiber, E bike for someone 6 foot five please
Pretty brave driving through all those killer whales 😊
3700 smh not worth it
$3700 is just stupid expensive for a bike. You can get a small car for that.
48V battery = instant deal-breaker (especially at that price). If this company is reading these comments, you need to go to a 52V battery -- the year is 2023.
XT600 best price factory directly supply.
Looks like they did. And $1900. I'm actually interested now
Big Bucks!!!!!😥🚲
That battery looks too small to have 25Ah, but then it is Chinese, they seem to write what ever on these batterys
11.13.23😮
with it being small for a tallriders i think they could try and make a more thicker seat so tall riders can ride it but i think ill have someone make a custom seat for this bike so us tall riders can ride it
Don’t care 🤷♀️, I want a donkey 🫏 with four wheel drive. Cost on $30 dollars 💸
Not for that price 😂thank you
A 116 pound dual motor 32 mph bike. Hmmm
No.
$3700 bike with a 14-28 freewheel? Just go single speed
To pricey 😂
RUNDEER's Attck 10 looks much better than this one
Almost 4k??? Just say NO to drugs...
$3,700 lol the prices of these Chinese electric bikes are out of control
If i have to pedal a bike with a motor. No its not worth it.
3700$ ulqlqqqq...... 🤣
It is illegal to take that motorcycle onto the sand on any beach in California with the exception of Pismo Beach
Sorry no good not worth the money my kit is far better and faster prise with 52v battery £989 and it's better to look at I've done a little work on it
That's the price of a used Honda Accord. Stop with this crap.😂
Not a great bike at all - I would rather have a Wired Freedom.
Way overpriced. This should at most be around $2,000
Ripoff
Way overpriced gor what you get.
Do a review on the e-bycco eb9 it's almost like a clone of what you just did in the video except for the forks are different in the digital gauge
3700 and still 48 volt battery... The wired freedom costs nearly half and is better than this in all the ways that people who buy bikes like this would want. I feel 2 grand would be a more appropriate price for them to charge.
The ebike is over price. I have the yolin ebike from Alibaba man. The bike have turn signals, 2 1,000w bafang motors, 2 52v 22ah samsung batteries, side mirrors, anti-theft alarm, and remote key. Two people can ride on the bike. 2,000 for the this ebike.
