The Hanevear H100 is probably the cheapest dual motor ebike on the market at the time of this review. This AWD Ebike has excellent power and performance up steep hill and enough speed to get you around town quickly!
The dual motor on this electric bicycle is programmed very well providing minimal wheel spin in the front which makes it easy to handle and has the quietest motors I’ve seen on any electric bike yet!

I've been watching your ebike videos from the start, which is when I got my Lectric XP. That is still the bike I'm using. Since my riding is almost all on flat terrain, that bike serves me well, but I can't help having new bike lust when I see this Hanevear flatten your hills! Great review.
Thank you! Glad your bike is serving you well.
Your reviews are always great! I purchased my Lectric Xpedition based upon your review last year, keep up the great eBike reviews Jeremiah!
Thank you! So how are you liking the Xpedition?
@@JeremiahMcintosh I really like the xpedition, great power and rides really nice, very happy with it!
If you had a choice between the Hanevear and wallke H9 witch one would you purchase?
A top tip guys: These dual motor bikes eat batteries for lunch, especially if you are like all good American manly men, full time throttle-only riding, and "flooring it" at every intersection when the light turns green (come on guys, admit it, that's how you all roll).
On this Hanevear if you ride throttle-only at max speed (and "punch it" at every stop light), your range even with the BIG battery that's on this bike, is about 30 miles ON THE FLATLANDS. and that's if you ride the bike until the battery is DOA at your house.
Side note: That's one of my peeves about e-bike advertising. Like how mobile/cell phone manufacturers grossly exaggerate phone battery life, IMO the e-bike industry is grossly exaggerating bike ranges. E.g., when they say "estimated range 50 miles" what they mean is the battery was fully charged, the rider was a 110 lb female, with the wind to her back, the road totally level, tires over-inflated, bike was set to PAS 3, and the rider rode the bike until the battery was totally dead.
Solution: I like a term I made up: "useful range" which includes standardized parameters: e.g., the test run ends when the battery indicator shows one bar minimum. I suggest this because no one rides an e-bike to where the battery is totally depleted. That kind of riding would drive us nuts (or here, "ride us nuts").
Anyway, from my riding the Hanevear for three months I can attest that the "USEFUL RANGE" of this bike under the above conditions (flatlands, throttle-only riding) is about 25 miles, with my having about five miles range remaining at the end of a ride. That ain't much, is it. Don't despair, there's an easy solution (albeit costly), which is INSTALLING A SECOND BATTERY. That's what I did on my Hanevear.
I had a leftover Rad Rover battery (that rhymes). With $50 in parts and 30 minutes of my time I had a mounted/functional second battery on my Hanevear. (Parts = "battery balancer" - $45 on Amzn, and one extended-length connection cable ($8) to run from the controller to the rear rack of my bike. See the Hanevear controller at 2:03.) Note: I had a spare battery. If you don't, the cost of this "mod" goes up significantly because you're gonna need to purchase a battery (worth it IMO).
A GREAT video I highly recommend on how to install a second battery on the Hanevear is watching RUclipsr Papa Blue Shirt's video. Search RUclips for "How I Installed A MONSTER Battery On My Folding Ebike: Hanevear H100 AWD Dual Battery"
Bonus Tip: His install video is conceptually the same for most e-bikes. So it is a good video to save. (Of course, for other bikes first search RUclips, e.g., "install second battery on (insert your bike name here)."
This was a really great write up. I'm not sure what your budget is, but I am in a similar boat. I'm all about range, I'm all about throttle. I've been researching manically like a Charlie day meme for a week trying to connect the dots to find a solution. What I have observed and learned from watching way too many RUclips reviews, is whatever the manufacturer says the throttle only or pedal assist 5 range is, literally cut it in half for real world results. For range, the bangers I have found that actually resemble bicycles, so the police should not stop you and are under $2k are. (Ratten Pinus 40ah dual battery) (Wildeway FW11S 3 40ah single battery) (Aniioki AQ177 60ah single) (Wallke H7 40ah single) (Eahora Juliet 60ah single) (Fucare Gemini 30ah dual) (ENGWE X24 (29.2ah dual) (Biktrix Juggernaut Hub 38ah dual) (Romatlink Dolphin 30ah) (Gforce T7 48v 60ah)
Good review, have you seen the new Fucare Scorpio? Wish you could do a review on it too.
Thank you ,that helps allot.
Excellent review, cool ebike
It's nice I would love to do my long term reviews on this bike. Hanevear I'm here and ready to review it.
Great video
Good job
This would be a great bike for campers.
thanks for the review, it help me make my decide what I want. BTW I use your code THANK YOU
Glad it was helpful for you and thank you for the support I greatly appreciate it!
I like your reviews as always, I plan to buy my first ebike next month, based on your video reviews i finally got 2 choices between this bike or vitilan i7 pro 20ah, but I'm confused because they kinda almost similar for the price range, model & feature, except dual motor. Which one do you prefer? especially about battery life & safety, endurance and customer support. Thank you!
For motorcycles, It depends what country in you live in. In countries where they drive on the left (UK, Australia), the front brake is usually the right hand side, in countries where they drive on the right, the front brake is on the left. Maybe that's why the front brake is positioned on the right side?
Maybe mount that light directly to fender or switch out that weak metal mount for something more beefy.
I prefer the brakes the way they are coming from riding motorcycle most of my life it is good for me. So to me that is a plus. I can’t ride my heavy Harley’s so I had to give it up. So I get to enjoy the torque and still be able to ride at least and not be home bound being disabled
Did saddle came with it? Or you bought it?
Do you know if there's a way to buy a saddle like that?
Tnx!
That bike would be nice to take in the vehicle and use to scout out some deer hunting spots. Can get out on some trails to look where you want to put up a tree stand or blind
single motor use on that thing kinda nice.. u use the front motor more to equilibrate tire use... si u dont end up with a never change cracked front tire and 1000 km rear change ...
I'm trying to decide between dual motor folding ebikes, this Hanevaer awd and the wallke and the meelod, the hills in my town are even steeper than in your video,You mentioned the Hanevaer being lighter than the others does that make it more fun to ride? I'm 5' 6" and 200# ,sixty eight yrs.and not planning to pedal much or should I forget about folding and put a bbshd on my old hybrid bike, in good shape (never used much).thoughts? Thanks
I live in San Francisco, at the top of one of the city's steep hills. On all my e-bikes I have to pedal in PAS 5 and I can easily get up Nob Hill at about 12 mph.
My Hanevear, set on pedal assist 5 and dual motor I can throttle only at about 15 mph. (I weigh 190 lbs).
There's not a lot of folding bikes that can power up the hills throttle-only. If you want something that powers up the hills, that folds, you want this dual motor, or some other dual motor.
Otherwise get the moped style e-bike (Revv1, Meelod DK300 Max, Aerial Rider, etc.)
P.S. I have four e-bikes. Of all of them, I like the Hanevear the most. You get a LOT OF BIKE for $1300 (hydraulic brakes, dual motors, BIG battery, well-built, functioning brake light, rear rack, metal fenders, 28 mph,
Why they don't just move up the front basket up with some bracket by few centimeters to prevent bumping into light? :D
Residents must dread using some of those roads in winter when snow melts and freezes. Lol . Have to get snow tires or A 4x4.😂
Welcome to Pennsylvania.
Jeremiah,do you still have the Ride1Up cafe cruiser...and if so is it still running ok ?
Sorry I’ve never had the Cafe cruiser.
Front break is like a motorcycle
One thing you neglected to inform us of is appx how far you went and how much battery it used ..
I know it is kinda hard to figure out the mileage with all the test you are performing but you can estimate about how well the battery output is with dual motors.... Just sayin '
Thanx for the review !
Yeah, that was my very first thought . My Lectric 3.0 is 500 watts , single motor and i just get enough range . Now this one also has a small battery pack but is powering 2 750watt motors , the math would seem as it would go through the battery really fast ..
When will companies start putting *solar panels* on e-bikes? 🤔🤷♂️
Could you take a piece of rubber or insulation on the bottom of the light?
Possibly. I’m going to try and mount it differently to see if that makes a difference.
I’m curious as to how tall you are. I’m 6,1 and have 32 “ inseam. Would I fit on it?
Seems like a lot of bikes have the "Headlight rattle". What? They don't know how to make a decent thicker bracket?
You blew right over the brand of the motors. It matters.
did i miss something, did he ever go full speed at dual motors??
I Sure did. You must have missed it.
That reversed brake should be outlawed! It may be actually. Would be easy enough to switch the brake lines.
Must be same company as Lectric
No definitely not lol. Why would you think that?
Cause I have a lectric, looks like they copied from lectric and changed the company logo. It's been done before, a lot of these Chinese Factories do it.
Almost identical to Cmacewheel RX20 Max / Vakole CO20 Max for European markets. Many of the parts are cheapest quality one can find, for instance the headlight cover is plastic and the mounting point will brake off over time if you tighten it too firmly and ride on bumpy terrain, so be prepared to invest in upgrades and repairs with it.
Dude, you need a better system to video yourself, you're going to get seriously hurt driving and holding the camera on that pole, seriously.
