Eh it depends. I worked at a very successful chain salad restaurant that only sold salad and salad/rice bowls. If it's in the right location it can work. The location I worked was in an area with lots of office buildings and we had long lines every lunchtime. I understand the benefits but I worry it could harm the main business. Focus on doing salads better than anyone else.

I can not believe that in 2021(don't know when this episode previewed), that there are not 10's of 1000's of people trying to start what they think are "healthy" foods! IT IS NOT A NEW THING!! Many, many entrepreneurs have appeared on DRAGON'S DEN-UK/Can, and SHARK TANK USA, AUSTRALIA, etc. with the same ideas, and most do not last that long. Couldn't find good healthy food on the go in Australia of all places. Are they taking the piss?
Anyway there used to be a similar franchise called Dressed Salad in Asia and it didn't last.
People couldn't make up their minds with all these choices of ingredients at the counter and the line up was huge and it defeats the point of "on the go". It was also hugely expensive and I suspect this has something to do with the many choices, the huge front of shop counter space needed, and subsequently the high rent.

@@jatinr13 The fast and easy one is EBITDA multiplied by a multiplicator. The multiplicator depends on many things- the sector, the competition, the level of difficulty for new entries, potential patents and so on. What you could use as orientation is established (and already listed) companies in the same industry.
There are more elaborated approaches, of course.

Well, I think they didn’t need shark for this, if they need 700k to open 10 stores that means 70k to open one, their profit is 150k right now . So they can open 3 new stores every year to kick the revenue , so basically if it goes as they presented, they should be able to open 10 stores in 2-3 years with own capital and 100% ownership...
