I’m honestly so happy for Jordan. He started off as a comedian but then did a complete 180 and makes awesome horror movies now.
Best thing is, he's still able to make you laugh in his movies without making them less scary. That's a thin line to walk.
Tim that’s how I felt with ‘Get out’. Suspenseful but had genuine funny moments.
The insane thing about Peele is that he’s still on of the funniest people on the planet. It’s not fair.
i wouldn’t say horror is a complete 180. both heavily rely on showing the unexpected or bending real life and in some case (like with both Peele’s comedy and horror) revealing some truth through that
@@marblefrierer Right. Horror and comedy have a LOT in common, and it's not hard to see that if he was a genius in one, he'd be a hard hitter in the other genre.

@@BusyBeeED yea I didn't think it was that scary (which is subjective), it was just really stressful and intense. With some comic relief too. Just perfect tone throughout the whole movie.

I think it’s an incredible skill to have some elements of comedy in a serious horror film. Watching it felt like an emotional Rollercoaster laughing then no more then 10 seconds later shutting up cause shits getting real.
