    I am 3 months behind due to my own home updates, my oldest graduating high school, and being the volunteer coordinator to a Celtic festival here in Michigan. But all of those things are over and I can rest again, ha. Now to binge watch your videos.

    Even though it uses resources and time, I hope you are securing your equipment and progress against theft and vandalism. The French are very civilized but anywhere you go there are a few bad apples.

      I'm hoping he secures things behind the scenes so as not to give how they're secured to anybody that watches. Where I live, I don't leave even an empty pop can on the seat of my truck or somebody will break a window to steal it.

      I think he's keeping his security private as a security measure.

    Maybe block area under frame closed off from any gusts of wind if a storm kicks up. I like that you consider input of viewers. I am also glad you'll be joined by friends, helpers. Think some kind of a pulley system would help on the job? I'm surprised at what you accomplish all on your own. 💪👏👏👏💜

    Little by little progress is coming along. Like you said, the restoration has to start from the basement. So, every shovel full of dirt is removed, and every stone wall pointed, progress marches on.

      I'm afraid Dan's van is a rental from a nearby supermarket (in France, supermarkets rent vans, small trucks etc on a small daily fee) yet I think it must cost him a packet. I do hope the patreon account helps him buy a new van for himself 🤞

      I am surrounded by acres of solar panels. The farmers succumbed to the solar companies in order to hang onto family farms.

Apparently it depends on ads, a lot of other variables. RUclips keeps 45% of revenue generated, and the YTuber get $180/thousand views . Several top (multi million Ytubers) disclose income ranging from $11,500 to $54,000 a month.

    Good job securing the solar panels! And even though you've got a long way to go until the chateau is habitable you can clearly see a huge difference now, it's a construction site nowadays instead of a ruin.

    Wow, this is so nice to have this great floor Dan. You are such a hard worker. I'm so proud of all that you do. Amazing young man. Tools at the chateau!!! this will help you out so very much! The wind won't catch the panels will it? We have been having some very strong 50-60 sine 80 MPR winds here in Central America (Kentucky) We have lot of damages from the winds and bad tornados all over.     I love seeing the rooms cleaned up. Decent flooring - so dry and protected. The new ones will be great for storage if you can organise locking them up in some way. Beats carting everything every time. Best wishes.

    Great job Dan! I am surprised though that the company doesn't supply a metal frame for putting the panels on and being able to adjust them for the various angles of the sun during the year.

    Ohhh, to finally be able to have and enjoy a hot coffee ☕️ in the morning at the chateaux must be blissful 😊. I am so happy that you have power now, not only for your coffee, but saves you so much time and money on going back and forth hauling your tools and equipment plus timber products. This will be so much more efficient for you. Don't forget to get yourself an airfryer or microwave for heating up food or cooking while you're there. You need energy, so eat well and stay hydrated.
    I'm so happy that you have the guys coming back to help you. You'll make such a great impact next week with more help. Stay safe and enjoy your journey. 😘
