Indeed. It's a virus. You can be in a very cold environment, but without such a virus present, you will not get 'a cold'. The season for getting a cold more often is due to your nose being dryer from heating the inside of your house. A dry nose cannot steer off a viral infection that well.

If its yellow it’s probably a infection cause i was asked by my doctor just a few days before if my mucus was yellow or white, mine was white which meant i didnt have a infection but i did have rhinitis.

The number one cause of Common Cold is cold weather. I always get cold when I don't wear enough clothes. Even if I stay at my home all the year I will catch cold in cold weather. You doctors don't know anything about this illness!
dont drink milk, cut out sugar/oil. All starches are sugar. You make super thick syrup with sugar... your acid cannot possible break all that down, you'll run out of juices.
