Whitney is one of the best singers ever. Such a blessing to be able to listen and feel what she is performing so flawlessly. God bless Whitney, we will never forget her!
@@TonyParker-r4l You are not competent to understand the diference between to hit the notes and to sing! To sing means to touch the heart of the audience and nobody else was better in this as Whitney.
One of the things that made Whitney SO uniquely gifted that MOST singers could never deliver on was her diction. Whitney sung with such clarity. Her enunciation of words were SO incredibly clear that you understand EVERY word she's saying. For someone who doesn't just get caught up in the beat but enjoys/wants to know a song's message, Whitney NEVER disappointed.
Definitely “I Will Always Love You.” You have to be able to hold those long notes, without your voice breaking up or becoming breathless. It’s no easy task.
I heard a guy sing "I Have Nothing" once-- not in falsetto, but in his regular range, and he sounded really good. It was a nice change of pace hearing it sung by a male.

I love that they included a deep cut. Miracle from the IYBT album is SUPER underrated. It's almost as intense as I Will Always Love You. I'm also glad they spilled about I Have Nothing being the tough cookie of the Bodyguard soundtrack.
What makes it crazier is the fact that Whitney's live performances most often eclipse her studio recordings. There will never be another Whitney Houston on planet Earth, period.
The writer/produce of Run To You said that when Whitney showed up to record the song she couldn’t even speak. Then she opened her mouth and sung so beautifully. That’s a god given talent that can’t be taught.
Forever hard in my book: I'm Your Baby Tonight, I Will Always Love You, Greatest Love of All, I Believe in You and Me, Run to You, You Give Good Love, and I Have Nothing In my opinion, these songs are a challenge because of breath control and knowing how much power to put into certain places in the song
Make one for Celine Dion and Mariah Carey (and add I Surrender to the Celine Dion list because let's face it that song is VERY hard to sing)! Loved the list! Whitney is a BEAST! The OG of the vocal TRINITY!

I sort of figured I Have Nothing or I Will always Love You would either take the top spot because they are really hard to sing. She was such a talented and beautiful singer like nobody now had her range or her good pipes ❤️❤️ that’s why you need to have a really great voice to sing one of her songs.
You left out Saving All My Love For You. Those high notes at the end are impossible! But I agree with I Have Nothing and Run To You at the top. If I try to sing those in the shower by the end my voice is creaking and my ears are popping. 😂
Run To You is actually way harder to sing than I Have Nothing. The latter gets recognized more as a difficult song because of the dramatic key change before the final chorus. However, Run To You requires consistently difficult sustained high notes all throughout the song, as well as complex melismas and runs absent from I Have Nothing. I would have rated her most difficult songs this way: 1) Didn’t We Almost Have It All 2) Run To You 3) All The Man That I Need 4) I Have Nothing 5) I Will Always Love You 6) One Moment In Time 7) I’m Your Baby Tonight 8) The Greatest Love Of All 9) I’m Every Woman 10) So Emotional
Whit songs build with so much intensity with so much beauty added in the mix. You gotta to be ready to get ignorant from the start (lol) along with bringing the skill, stamina, range, and power to get it right❤
I agree with your picks more or less. Personally I would put "Didnt we almost have it all" as the hardest because the complete Power and Control she displays in that song is unmatched. No one has ever sang that song and did it justice the way Whitney does. NO ONE!!!!! That could be why many dont even attempt it, and rightfully so.
Miracle is not easy to do either constantly jumping from different textures from mixed voice, natural, full chest voice and her natural was really high and the breath control, vibrato and if you don't know what you are doing it can leave you with temporary vocal paralysis because the voice is tired.
Top 10 SHOULD BE 1. I'm Your Baby Tonight 2. Run To You 3. I Will Always Love You 4. I Have Nothing 5. So Emotional 6. All The Man That I Need 7. Didn't We Almost Have It All 8. All At Once 9. Greatest Love of All 10. Saving All My Love for You.
Fun fact: Christina Aguilera was chosen to sing "My Reflection" (the studio version, not Lea Salonga's movie version) based on her ability to hit the high notes in "Run To You", showing that Whitney was a benchmark for other singers who could also have that range.
In my opinion didn't we almost have it all is the hardest, it requires a lot of stamina since the chorus is 1 minute long and she belts all through it. Curious fact: 70% of the song is chorus
I'm Your Baby Tonight should've been on this list. Both bridges present their challenges in terms of breath support and diction. That song's a marathon, really
