hey Corrine. this sure was fun watching your piece come together. the wooden pieces add an interesting look and texture to the strawberries. they work! i wouldn't have thought so but they really do work. thanks for sharing this process with us . linda from california
OMG he has come out so gorgeous, well done. hmmm what am i up too today, well it's Friday here, sitting cross stitching and drinking coffee, watching along with you, soon I'll have to get up as I have a full day of volunteering at the salvos. I love those diaries too I have a few of them
Love listening to you yabber on 😊 speaking of a quilt a fellow Aussie is Jen Kingwell she has generous patterns and also a beautiful book called quilt recipes. Thanks again for your inspiration and videos ❤
Love being part of your thought proces! Initially I thought no no no, no wooden buttons, but then I can’t unsee it and then you know it is spot on. Know what I mean?😂
Thank you Corrine for your video , goodness watching this develop was amazing. Buttons, wood, I kept thinking I doubt it but no ,it just all fits and you really went through all your thoughts and reasoning ,brilliant. I have saved you till Sunday as I am having a morning knitting. To be honest I put it down, I found this video too interesting to knit😂😂
Just thinking if I had embroidered that doily which had “seen a better day” (as my Grandma who embroidered all her life would have said) I would be thrilled you gave it a new life in your artistic expression. Look forward to seeing the finished piece. Only, thing I’d do differently is to put a little pint on the white flowers. lol…
Beautiful ! Enjoy watching you create, thank you for sharing. 🧵🪡♥️

Winter is laughable in Australia, but the strawberries are a great idea!
