I feel like every time I watch one of your videos your channel evolves more and more, love the content. I don’t even have a printer yet but I feel educated enough to finally go out and get one

I’ve ran a lot of prints. Got my first roll jayo pla rainbow. It’s running horrible. Ran retraction and flow. Going to try a different print tomorrow after rechecking settings. If it doesn’t get better I’ll be done.

My experience with random filaments from many companies is run it hot. Had a hard time at first with that one. I think I am running it close to 225 on the nozzle and retraction set to 7

Having issues with stringing with Black JAYO PLA Plus. Using the same pla seetings but raised printing temp to 230/bed at 75. No issues with Matchbox Pla or my Ender3. Only change is filament type and temps. Any other changes I need to improved print quality? Retraction/Flow rate?

Yep I would up your retraction and slow down your flow rate

    hi.
At what printing temperature you used this filament pla+. Thank you.

220 nozzle and bed 55 for my glass bed

I've been using jayo pla at 215, bed temp 105, extrusion 115% on a sidewinder X1, (it likes printing at higher rates due to volcano hot ends), and I've been fighting warping from the bed and curling at higher layers. Rectangles and round edges, brims and not, on a ceramic glass heated bed. Do you have any advice for preventing that warping?

For pla that bed temp is way to high. Try 50 to 60

@@Rise3DBuilds I'll try that again. When I was initially trying pla + out, I wasn't getting my prints to stick until I hit 85° at the center. It may have been leveling at the time and the increase may have helped adjust that, but I'll see what lowering the temp does with my new leveling and first layer. Thank you.

I get a ton of strings with silk JAYO what can i do?

    • @Rise3DBuilds
      @Rise3DBuilds  3 года назад

Up your retraction settings in cura by one or two. Also try a hotter temp by maybe 3to 5 degrees

@@Rise3DBuilds are u sure hotter makes fewer strings? now I try temp tower 190-230 and I update u

Again depends on filament and also your retraction settings

I have a CR -10 V2 and I’m interested in your print profiles settings but I couldn’t find your email I had the same issue you did with durmic my printer didn’t like it had separation issues

I did a dumb, was getting horrible overhangs and was tearing my hair out trying to fix it until I realised the new PLA+ I was using really wanted to be printed at 230c and not 195... Wasted 2 weeks and nearly a whole spool on crappy prints. Live and learn!

I hear you on this one. I have learned to take my time and test with new filament. Such a pain some times.

It appears from the comments that JAYO is a Sh** brand, that’s exactly what i have found, used half a roll trying to get adhesion, to no avail, never before in all my years of printing have i had this type of a problem with PLA. the tolerance of 0.02+_ try 0.05 might be closer. when printing (brand new roll) pops like fire crackers, plenty moisture straight out of the box. PLA should not be that hard to use
