    All I need to know is if I get a degree in broadcasting how will I get into the industry? And even if I am, what will be the start to boost my way into showrunning since I already created a pitch Bible for a pilot. Hell I even publish a book for it. If I have evidence that I created a pitch Bible and somehow I am in the industry will I already become a showrunner with the proof I have?

    Does anyone else thinks that script-driven shows are better than Board-Driven shows? It’s not like Script-Driven shows is gonna effect the animation and Board-Driven shows tends to be messy in story sometimes.

    • @jmachero5852
      @jmachero5852 3 года назад +2

      Heck, Final Space is Script-Driven and has a lot of pleasing visuals and touching scenes that makes them very artistic that doesn’t sacrifice the writing.

    • @inkorporeal204
      @inkorporeal204 2 года назад +1

      @@jmachero5852 Yeah, you're right saying that. Script-driven shows have the advantage of having a good story overall without sacrificing the overall style of the animation. Because you know what the main point of your animation is before you start planning and can therefore communicate its message way more effectively

    I have a question: Does the Animation after the storyboarding mostly include copy and pasting some frames and, slightly moving it so it looks like The character is moving. Or, is every single frame hand drawn?

    • @shylastar3653
      @shylastar3653 2 года назад +3

      oh my, usually most frames are hand drawn! some shows like rick and morty use rigging where they move the charachter like a string puppet, but most the action and complicated scenes in it are drawn by hand for each frame. for shows like steven universe, it is fully hand drawn without the riggs. it takes around 24 drawings just for a second of animation! but usually 2 frames are used for one drawing, that is called drawing on 2s. and then some fancy disney animation is done on 1s where its ultra smooth and they actually draw 24 different drawings. they used that sort of animation in the game cuphead its amazing! anyways hope this helps ^^

    Yeah but like how do I make the pictures move?

    • @MovieMation
      @MovieMation  2 года назад +1

      If you're asking about the process itself, to put it very simply, artists draw a lot of pictures with slight changes between them and then put them one after the other. If you've seen flipbooks before it's basically the same concept. CGI is a different process, animation in 3D is more comparable to making and moving puppets.
      If you're asking about what desktop apps you can use, I don't have a lot of experience with using many animation apps myself. I do know Adobe Animate (formerly Flash) is quite a popular one, an animator I watched named Aaron Blaise uses TVPaint, I've personally used After Effects a lot, but that's more for motion graphics, Blender is also apparently doing 2D animation now too even though it is mostly known for 3D animation. I'd recommend looking at other people's video comparing apps though, I'm sure there'll be top 5 videos and the likes out there that will recommend some good ones.
      In terms of an iPad app, I would highly recommend Callipeg, I went through a bunch of them on the iPad and landed on that one as my favourite, I've used it quite a lot. If you are going to use it I'd recommend searching up its tutorial on RUclips so you don't miss out on some of the features that aren't made clear if just going straight into the app.

    A movie where a kid gets a script stolen. I saw a movie called Bigger Fatter Liar. It was about a chronic liar who got a video game idea stolen. He goes on an adventure to prove he's actually telling the truth for once.
    Edit: Bigger Fatter Liar is a standalone sequel to Big Fat Liar which has the same plot. Who knew the sequel would be such a big failure to the point it doesn't have a Wikipedia page?
