So in all fairness that Nickleback song totally deserved it. While that Three Days Grace song is only probably the reason why many people know who Three Days Grace is, and in this case it's also pretty much just a re-imagination of Mudvayne's "Dig" lyrically, thematically and both songs even begin the same way (a tempo change, transpose it to minor and we're golden). ...Besides that dude's a musician and many musicians actually love Nickleback.

Great songs, to be sure, but I wouldn't call any of these ANTHEMS. Like Overkill, Back in Black, Smells like Teen Spirit (yes, we're all sick of it, but it's an anthem nonetheless), Killing in the Name of, and one of my recent personal favorites, Death by Rock and Roll.
