But C220d is a gem. C220d gives soft suspension & light steering feedback, good for long journey moreover great fuel efficiency. C300’s low profile bigger wheel tyre give you little tighter steering feedback & C300’s suspension is also stiff. C200d & C200 is good choice & better for Indian roads.

Come to Kerala. You will realize that it's not sorted at all. My C-Class W206 scrapes on almost all the humps here.

Your videos look more of ad shoot than a review. This one as a short film for mercedes, we came here for a review but settled for an ad shoot/short video for mercedes.

Finally make enough to consider a c class
Mercedes: oh no you don't, c class costs as much as an e class now.. And just forget about the e class
I know I know... Sour grapes.. Inflation..
    And hi there elevate!!

In that case no car maker can make cars for Indian roads, for random humps and all shapes and sizes

No need of humps . It scratches on roads . Its monsoon here in kanyakumari and its been a challenge to drive this daily .

Hence, it is proven that sedans can also be driven on bad roads, it just depends on the driving ability.. That's how we are using our Honda City since 6 years.. Always keep in mind that sedans are also not meant for some hardcore off roading.

As a Mumbaikar, at heart I am sad to say that potholes are relatively small terms used for crators, these aren't holes they are crators like those on moon.

While it is a beautiful car, my C300 touches at every slope at apartment entrances that are designed without any sense of architecture even after barely inching on. Also with 4 people in the car, the under belly might touch even after diagonally crossing a decently sized speed bump.

  • @ashwinn_nair

I have a C300d for a year and a half now, initially I use to scrap on most of the bumps, uneven roads and potholes since i was new to handling a low-slung car but now I am able to navigate it better. @powerdrift thank you for the confidence again but still I am hesitant on trying new roads and those low profile tyres are still risky for a sudden pothole on our beautiful roads. Also how is the new c300 when compared to c300d in terms of driving?

No way current gen merc sedans are gonna be sorted for Indian roads (last gen c and e class were best so far). May be they sorted the height and suspension but never to the level of our normal streets. Drive this same vehicle in horrible Banglore roads without scraping once and I'll agree with you. Driving here in a road with noob potholes and bumps for sake of this promotional video would be still considered as fake as the red shirt guy's acting 🤣🤣🤣😅

I have a 2011 Honda Accord and its suspension has been eaten by Indian roads. I’m contemplating between the new C300 and a BYD Seal but can’t tell which one will survive Indian road conditions better.
