In your conversation with the car, Paul says "At least its entertaining". I think he meant to say "Isn't that aggravating?". MB is going the Alexa route. Great video.
Did I miss a discussion on whether the transmission shifts well on acceleration and quick deceleration as well as in stop and go driving? Also overall ride quality at high speed? Road feel? Smoothness?
I love that the car forgave you. Maybe try Merc instead of the full name. Love the F1 reference, it's nice to hear. I just need you guys to test it with two less doors. Here's to hoping!
Hi, from Japan!! I don’t need Ms. Mercedes talking. Instead of loosing Ms. Mercedes, I hope the price goes down. She is a nice and pretty lady, though. By the way, I have heard some air freighters will arrive at Nagoya Japan in few hours for bringing F1 cars and related equipments for Japan Grand Prix.
@@AmericanBusinessman422 so what's your excuse for people that are immaculate with their maintenance and still have endless issues? I've been a mechanic for over 20 years and see this a lot with German vehicles.
Having an engine that'll take twice the power reliably is a very good thing; e.g., Nissan Xterras use the same long block as their twin turbo super cars.
There is no coupe version of this C-300, there is now only a CLE, which is a whole other car altogether, unlike previous versions where it was the same car with two doors chopped off. I personally have a 2019 C300 sedan and prefer its looks over the looks of the new one any day. It's like they gave it sedatives and made it plain.
Painted white with tan/black interior it looks elegant and awesome as a Merc should look. I like the lines and curves of this sedan. 100% agree give me buttons and knobs! So much easier and safer!
Ugh, the seats look like they have cheap, ill fitting seat cover/pads on them. Performance wise, yeah, the G70 the way you want it is the same price as this, but much faster. The 4 cylinder model of the G70 has the same performance as the C300 for much much less.
Mercedes interiors are ugly with those tesla 2015 screens. No somber integration into the panels, but rinky dink hovering screens that will be a bitch to clean around. Kia sportage is the nicest example, but 1994 toyota supra was the best. Make a modern version. So now we wait for your s63 test, as you name dropped that one.
I know it’s seemingly entertaining to complain about the “Hey Mercedes” feature, but the easy way to get out of it. If you activate it by accident is to simply hit the exit button on the steering wheel. Failing to do that does make you look like a boomer that doesn’t know how. 😂
I love the older Mercedes-Benz of the 90's, and it seems M-B. have lost their minds with technology and screens as the company named after the man that created the ICE car charges into the EV future. At least the C-Class is a looker compared to the 4-Series and M3.
Make it quiet for that kind of money period. Also , in other Mercedes vehicles that are quieter , what’s the logic there regarding noise built in for safety? In fact, a complaint or concern lately but local fire departments and emergency services, is that cars have gotten to insulated and people are often not hearing these sirens until it’s almost too late. Just food for thought, 0 malice here
why don't cats have emergency communications in them so emergency vehicles can pop up on your screen and stereo they are approaching? Seems like a simple thing to add to all vehicle designs.
The best or nothing. This isn’t the best MB. Looks like an Altima from the rear. Super expensive with options. Interior is the best part. Reliability will be another issue.
The stupid domestic automakers Chevy, Ford, Dodge / Chrysler have no clue building performance cars. 6.4 lt, 5 lt, 6.2 lt and yet not much faster than this C300. Now with workers on strike, let them go bankrupt and do not bail tem out again this time. By the way, I agree with SCOTTY KILMER' for those who watch his channel, 671 hp out of cylinder means a hell of a stress and only time will tell how long this engine lasts.
Totally agree with Todd - the gimmicks draw in the buyer, and the little annoyances make them want to next level up.

671hp out of a German 4-cylinder, what could possibly go wrong?
People not doing maintenance...

5:10 did he say that this generation has been around since 2014? 2022 wasn't a refresh, it was a new generation, the W206.
Awesome review as always!
Thank you for the review

Honestly I think I’d rather get the previous gen with a v6
The previous gen c300 was not a v6 do you mean you’d get that gen with the v6 option?
I appreciate your videos. In this case, I’d like to hear about when and how the different power trains kick in.
Efficiency is the BMW B58 inline 6…32 on a highway trip. With 400 hp (382 reported) and 0-60 in 3.8 (Motor Trend).

@Todd do you think a rear facing car seat in the c class?
C43 and C63se has the same engine. C300 does not. also, this generation just came out for 2022. you are thinking of the previous gen.
Sorry guys, you didn't convince me ...
I had a brand new one (125 miles) as a loaner when my E 300 was being serviced. I was appalled at how terrible it was (for $52,000)!
Say more ?
Look at the maintenance costs that come with this car. $480 oil changes? Nuts
That’s why people gotta do their own oil changes nowadays
G70 the way you want it- rwd 3.3t sport prestige is $55k. They're not a deal anymore.
Just get a base, there is no reason to pay an extra $9k+.
That's the performance model...
The lack of the PHEV in the US is insane. 60 miles of EV range is incredible.
I am a boomer and I, too, want buttons and knobs. Dislike the haptics.
I'm 26 and I want the damn buttons.
Only the c300... In europe it starts at c180
I wonder if the noise from the other cars was amplified somehow so you hear emergency vehicles and other cars on the road to help you avoid them.
The trunk is too tall and too short, the tailights don’t fit the car, the grill looks sad.
You keep talking but you did not explain the car specifcations ,comfort, bavk seat space
Very pretty car
That’s a great looking car, I’d love to have one on my driveway, Mercedes = pureclass
Your mechanic would love you to have one too
@@senseicorey9979 He would but I’d sell it before it went out of manufacturers, warranty or service plan
When i think about the future of cars i get nauseous. I don't know if it's from excitement or disgust.
So the power of a 2.0 turbo accord...
model 3/y performance & m340i exist in the same price bracket
Those aren’t good looking
With the interface and bad UI of the Mercedes. Id take the Genesis ANY DAY.
you can switch off the " hey Mercedes" function. Just havebto go in the menu and do it. Wasted hapf of the video just talking about its annoyance.
What you have is a 30K Buick with a 30K star on the grill & steering wheel.
and an iPad ..
No.

This or a S3 ?
Apples to oranges. The question is C300 or A4?
I love talking to my car.. what’s the big deal?? 🤷🏻♂️

@@RockstarBruski you actually just press the exit arrow (not a haptic slide)

hold on,. your telling me that c class cost 60000 dollars. send the astroid
This is all new not a refresh, and the coupe and convertible are now the CLE not the C.
t has the same chassis as the W205,
