Yes, that’s exactly what it is. It’s an ego thing. If he was a smart man, he would carry concealed and allow the local police to do their job, which was keep the fair safe. I would also imagine that if you would monitor this guy, I would bet that he pushes us as authority on people that he shouldn’t.
According to the 2nd amendment, everyone should have the right to carry openly if they are an adult and choose to do so. It’s a crazy world and you never know when you might be forced to defend yourself or your family. My state honors that right, and many take advantage of it.
In operating rooms, schools, police stations, jails, courts, insane asylums? Your state allows Immigrants, children, and felons to carry openly? You are a God Damn liar.
Trump Pence 2024.
Well this will be one for the courts.
Who should win?
Pathetically bad "news" story. You left out the most important part, whether or not the law prohibits off duty cops from openly carrying firearms out of their jurisdiction or anywhere else.
Why should it be a problem for any citizens Tobe carrying.....not just this guy .....and with the constitution why would folks support people bring disarmed by guys with arms ......not sure the guy that originally said this ....but if you are will to surrender ur rights for a temporary security......you deserve neither
Unsurprised someone comments they don't know what a jurisdiction is
Don’t cops carry off duty? Why the big deal?
Not where it is prohibited. Federal courts for example.
It is so sad to see that ours is a society of Oompa Loompas. Get in shape America!
seems like a good guy? does she know him?
Just follow the thread of parrots. Check Federal Law The Chief is protected by it …
Do cops have 2nd amendment rights while off duty. Were the chief's right violated? Gun laws need to be consistent all across the country. Its almost like you need to be a lawyer in every state to know gun laws with updates every 5 minutes.
They do not. Where it is prohibited. Like Federal courts.
When in Tombstone. Give up your jpiece Sheriff, or leave.
I thought a police officer is always on duty?
You probably believe they have a duty to protect too...
@@Look_What_You_Did the badge says protect and serve
If he was asked to do something by fellow cops and he refused, well then, I can see why they arrested him. Legit arrest? Don’t know. Cop looks like he is pretty dumb.
It was the shorts.
He gets paid vacation?😮
Maybe he was drinking I don’t know I can’t think of any other reason to arrest him.
nothing about drinking was mentioned
My only question… why are more criminal cops not held accountable for breaking the law… this above the law because I have a badge has got to stop… along with these paid vacations (administrative leave)!
The police chief,, Should have told the other cops,,,, Cops can And will do anything they want to 👮♀️💩
