The mother calling “I’m here…helloooooooo…!” Used to creep me right out as a kid. Turns out though that his mother’s voice calling to him was actually a hunter using a deer caller, and the crows that fly out of the brush are actually warning Bambi by squarking “Man! Man!”
@@kassiebork Ronno explained it earlier, which was a foreshadowing of what was going to happen to Bambi later. The 'I'm here' voice is like it's trying to make it sound how a deer would hear it from their point of view if they could talk human.
The scene kinda ticked me off though, because I would expect Bambi that despite his mother being gone, he would learn the lessons she taught him like "Never going out alone into the meadow. There might danger. Out there we are unprotected; the meadow is wide and open and there are no trees to protect us.". So not only should Bambi have realized sooner that the voice wasn't his mother, but his mother would have never wanted her little son to wander off like that, especially into the meadow. Would have been better for Bambi to before he go out like that, he says to himself, "Hold on, mother told me not to rush out..." then notices the crows flying away, meaning that danger's hear and then starts to run, and the hounds start to chase him and then his father comes in calling for him in which he quickly has Bambi hide while he takes out the hounds and then calls him out for running off like that.
@@osmanyousif7849I know this comment is old but Bambi is also still young and impulsive. If he thought he heard his mother calling him, he may have thought it was safe to come out. Especially because he clearly misses his mother. He has a dream about her prior to hearing the hunters deer calls.

One of the best Disney sequels for sure. I loved the fact that this took place exactly after the mom's death. The time skip in the original was too out of place and cheerful. You see the thing is Ronno is jealous of Bambi, because he's a prince and he gets attention from the other forest animals. That's why he picks on Bambi and he is the buck Bambi fought in the first movie.
I will say, for a Disney sequel, I am very impressed with how gorgeous the animation is on this movie, as well as how good the story was. The lighting and the colors just bring the forest to life onscreen...especially the snow scenes. And the film answered a very good question left from the first movie, and let us know what happened to Bambi in the time between his mother's death and when we see him as a young adult reunited with his old friends. And I liked how the Great Prince was willing to soften his gruff demeanor and stringent parenting style with his young son and have fun with Bambi, instead of just being so stern all the time. I enjoyed seeing their bond grow in this movie. And Patrick Stewart was an excellent choice to voice the Great Prince. He had that noble and powerful presence that paired well with his appearance. And the actors they chose for Bambi and Thumper sound a lot like the original voices. I was impressed, considering how long its been since the first Bambi. I also loved that they paid homage to Bambi's mother in this film in such a beautiful way.
So happy you reacted this movie. Bambi 2 is definitely one of the best sequels. I love how the relationship between Bambi and his father develops. And I’m such a crybaby when it comes to this movie, especially for the ending🤣
This movie’s more of a midquil because there still young. This movie took place right after the first one where Bambi’s dad surprised him and told him his mother can’t be with you anymore. So that’s where this movie takes place. But great reaction Nick as always.😊
This was one of the sweetest sequels I watched growing up. My dad and I had watched it so many times and each time, both of us always teared up at the end when The Great Prince decided to keep Bambi with him. Loved the reaction!
For its out of the darkness that we learn to see And out of the silence that songs come to be And all that we dream of awaits patiently There is life 💖
I never clicked so fast before! Bambi 2 is my favourite Disney sequel, it just just too cute, emotional and beautiful, I am glad you liked it and got invested in Bambi's relationship with his dad I cry everytime I watch this movie and this time wasn't the exception
This song at begining is hearthbreaking. In Bambi is see how song can make feeling from movie.(When you know he lost mother and in Bambi2 its started with sad scene. This literally got me xd)
This was my favorite movie growing up. I can quote it word for word. The porcupine’s ‘back in my day’ rant is something my sister and I still joke about today.
If you haven’t seen it yet you should check out the show The Mandalorian. The relationship between the two main characters and the situation they’re put into is incredibly similar to that of Bambi and his father and is even more heartwarming.
The first movie is great with the colours and music. The little dialogue made the movie unique to me. But the second movie will always be my most favourite because of the character development and the song, “At the First Sign of Spring” is so beautiful :,) I just realized that the voice actor for the Prince voices a character from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, which is an amazing Studio Ghibli film! Thank you for the great video and commentary as always :)
It was an interesting at on a second movie. The father was less of a character in the first, more of a force. Being able to see that grieving that a lot of people go through, including the point where certain types of people try to close themselves off to the rest of the world, was pretty humanizing for his character. A wonderful sequel.
This is my favorite movie, I cried so much watching this reaction, cause I could remember myself watching as a kid... Bambi's relationship with his dad it's just amazing, I love the scene when Great Prince shows the place where he meet Bambi's Mom...
Ronno or Ronald I can’t remember his name but the bully deer is actually the same Deer that adult Bambi fights in the original. That’s what the line “some day we’ll meet again” is referring to. Amazing reaction Nick! I love this film so much :)
You know the little deer Ronno is the same deer that Bambi fights in the first Bambi when there grown up, he is the one they fought when he tries to bully Faline a bit but tries to steal her from Bambi, but he fights him for her.
I have always preferred this one over the first!! I used to think it was the first movie and that the actual first movie was the second movie, I just love the relationship between father and son, those relationships are so rarely shown in a good light!
My mom had a deer growing up on the farm she lived on. She named him Bambi, he had his back legs cut off from a machine in the woods where they cut trees
Easily the best thing about this movie is that Thumper and Flower get much more screentime. I also love the fact that we actually got to know Thumper's sisters this time around as well.
Definitely one of the best Disney sequels ever, and one of the few that is an improvement on the original in pretty much every way. The animation is gorgeous, as are the songs. The voice acting is on point and the plot is interesting and emotionally investing. Honestly I'm not much of a crier, it's very hard for movies to get me to do that, but this movie makes me cry several times without fail. Maybe its because the relationship between Bambi and his father speaks so much to what I had with my dad, never living up to his expectations or being the way he wanted me to be, and me desperately wanting him to be emotionally open with me and treat me as his child, rather than just a younger him. Unfortunately that did not have the happy ending that this movie has, which is why I think I cry so much at this, because it makes me wish for what could've been, but wasn't.
If there's a movie with animals, snow, and a creek in the forest, I'm in. I wish I could live in a beautiful forest like that. Someday I will but for now I'll just dream.

Remember the Buck Bambi fought for Faline in the first film? That’s adult Ronno! When you saw Ronno head butting at Faline to make her move away from Bambi in this Sequel, just like in the first film

I really like this movie because Disney has managed to tie the events of the first one into this one so nicely. There are so many parallels and references or foreshadowing to the things Bambi experiences as a young buck in the first one. Like fx the fight scene between Ronno and Bambi in this one has a lot of resemblance and could be a foreshadow to the fight scene in the first movie between Bambi and the buck that is supposed to be grown-up Ronno. The same kind of parallel can be seen between the dad's fight scene with the dogs in this movie and Bambi's fight with them in the first movie. And you see a parallel between the scene where Bambi's dad tries to get him up in this movie and the scene where he tries to get Bambi up after Bambi is shot by a human in the first movie. I think stuff like that are really nice touches and it really helps to tie the two movies together c:
When he has that dream of his mother, telling her how much he missed her and her telling him she would always be with him gets me every time! And there is an awesome theory, I don't know if it's cannon or not but I am totally accepting it as cannon because it works, that Ronno is the deer Bambi fights as an adult in the first movie! Remember that epic fight when Bambi was trying to be with Faline but another male deer came and tried to take her away, which resulted in Bambi battling him? That was adult Ronno!
Still one of my favorites and made me cry like a baby! Glad you got the chance to enjoy it and enjoyed the development of the characters!!! Hope you get to look at other Disney animated films when you get the chance!

The music in this is beautiful.
Remember in Bambi 1 where Adult Bambi fights the bad deer that tries to get Faline? That was Ronno as a young deer that you've just watched.
This was one of the sweetest sequels I watched growing up. My dad and I had watched it so many times and each time, both of us always teared up at the end when The Great Prince decided to keep Bambi with him. Loved the reaction!
For its out of the darkness that we learn to see
And out of the silence that songs come to be
And all that we dream of awaits patiently
There is life 💖
I got teary eyed so many times 😅 I really love the theme of grieve and Bambi and his dad's relationship developing
12:29 It's the men's whistle Ronno was talking about.
17:21 - 17:27 I just realized Thumper reminds me of Bunga from"The Lion Guard".
What I love about this movie is how faithful it treats it’s source material like you can feel the love the creators put into it
I never clicked so fast before! Bambi 2 is my favourite Disney sequel, it just just too cute, emotional and beautiful, I am glad you liked it and got invested in Bambi's relationship with his dad
I cry everytime I watch this movie and this time wasn't the exception
This song at begining is hearthbreaking. In Bambi is see how song can make feeling from movie.(When you know he lost mother and in Bambi2 its started with sad scene. This literally got me xd)
I love your reactions so much! They're so honest and pure. Thank you for always making my day!
This was my favorite movie growing up. I can quote it word for word. The porcupine’s ‘back in my day’ rant is something my sister and I still joke about today.
Ronno should theoretically be the deer Bambi fights with, when they are older (Bambi 1)
It’s not theoretical it’s confirmed
Moral lesson of the movie: a prince can, sometimes, woohoo.
If you haven’t seen it yet you should check out the show The Mandalorian. The relationship between the two main characters and the situation they’re put into is incredibly similar to that of Bambi and his father and is even more heartwarming.
I am glad you watch this movie. I love this movie and perfect plot for father and son: The Great Prince and Bambi
The music in this movie is one of my favorites tbh There Is Life is so pretty
That scene with the mom's voice, scared me to death when I was a kid. It stopped me from watching the movie for years.
It was an interesting at on a second movie. The father was less of a character in the first, more of a force. Being able to see that grieving that a lot of people go through, including the point where certain types of people try to close themselves off to the rest of the world, was pretty humanizing for his character. A wonderful sequel.
Apparently Patrick Stewart is the only actor in the sequel to be alive when the 1st bambi became out. He was 2 years old I think.
This movie is so precious 🥰🥰🥰
Love this movie too
You know the little deer Ronno is the same deer that Bambi fights in the first Bambi when there grown up, he is the one they fought when he tries to bully Faline a bit but tries to steal her from Bambi, but he fights him for her.
I have always preferred this one over the first!! I used to think it was the first movie and that the actual first movie was the second movie, I just love the relationship between father and son, those relationships are so rarely shown in a good light!
Bambi s dream is realy exited and sad and pretty i love this dvd😭😭😭😭oh dear mother😟
This is one of the best Disney sequels. I'm so glad you decided to watch this one. And the music is beautiful ❤
Bambi 2 makes me cry way more than the first one, I'm sobbing 😭
Sir Patrick Stewart voiced Bambi’s dad 😄 (aka Professor X from X-men)
My mom had a deer growing up on the farm she lived on. She named him Bambi, he had his back legs cut off from a machine in the woods where they cut trees
I don’t know why but seeing you geek over snow to the point where you hope spring doesn’t come is hilarious
You're not the only one who prefers this over The Aristocats! :D They did a beautiful job with the Bambi sequel!
WE NEED A BACKSTORY ABOUT THE GREAT PRINCE AND BAMBI'S MOTHER!!! @NickFlix
If there's a movie with animals, snow, and a creek in the forest, I'm in. I wish I could live in a beautiful forest like that. Someday I will but for now I'll just dream.
Right beside Lion King 2 this is the best Disney sequel during the direct to video era.
I am so happy that you do a reaction video on bambi 2! It’s one of my favourite sequels of Disney! Love your reaction!
Bambii shares a voice actor with Nemo (in this movie) and it’s great. Such a cute voice
Hi Nick, I subscribed a few weeks ago. I love your channel and your videos, keep up the great work. I love how you really connect with the story and the characters, reminds me of myself when I watch a movie, it drives my brothers crazy. Also, I'm so excited to see your Maleficent video, it's an amazing movie. By the way, I think maybe sometime you might want to look into the movie Little Shop Of Horrors (1986) . It's a little bit scary at some parts but overall it's a musical comedy and an amazing film. Again, love your videos and keep on enjoying these diffrent movies.
Merry Christmas,Nick!
This one was a beautiful story honestly. I really enjoyed it as well. A deep message
33:50- I highly doubt most people these days would call this beneath The Aristocats. This had actual passion. This actually works better than the majority of direct-to-video sequels.
I don't know if you remember but Ronno showed up in Bambi 1 as well XD
Hey nice shirt Nick! And thanks for reacting to this movie!
"Keep running, don't look back!"
Bambi's Mother last words... @Nickflix
I agree bambi 2 is one of the best sequels!!!
One of the best sequels, love the music, thank you for the reaction! Just what I needed to cheer me up after a bad start to the morning. Make sure to check out Balto and Ferdinand sometime.
Remember the Buck Bambi fought for Faline in the first film? That’s adult Ronno! When you saw Ronno head butting at Faline to make her move away from Bambi in this Sequel, just like in the first film
Rewatching this Ronno as a fawn reminds me of Cera from The Land Before Time. Especially his "confrontation against Man" story.
This movie is a perfection! The songs are stunning!
Great reaction to a great movie) Nick, it’s always such a delight to see your reactions))) Also, since you are starting to watch kinda remakes but different stories like “Maleficent”, maybe you should try “Oz the Great and Powerful”, it’s also pretty interesting.
Oz the Great and Powerful is my favorite
Fun fact: The person voicing Bambi in this movie did the voice for Nemo in Finding Nemo.
marry Christmas nick
🎄🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻🎁🎁
Cats don’t dance is severely underrated animated movie
When he has that dream of his mother, telling her how much he missed her and her telling him she would always be with him gets me every time!
And there is an awesome theory, I don't know if it's cannon or not but I am totally accepting it as cannon because it works, that Ronno is the deer Bambi fights as an adult in the first movie! Remember that epic fight when Bambi was trying to be with Faline but another male deer came and tried to take her away, which resulted in Bambi battling him? That was adult Ronno!
I think it is canonically confirmed that Runno is the cruel deer that fights Bambi in the future.
The Music in this movie reminds me of the music they put in the Tinkerbell movies. I hope you do look into those movies there quite entertaining.
Funny Ronno is the deer he fought in the first movie
Still one of my favorites and made me cry like a baby! Glad you got the chance to enjoy it and enjoyed the development of the characters!!! Hope you get to look at other Disney animated films when you get the chance!
true. I have it same xd
Bambi II is one of my favourite Disney midquels and I grew up with it along with the original Bambi in my childhood. Another you could watch is Peter Pan 2003, I grew up with that film too.
Probebly and unpopular opinion...but I think Bambi 2 is better then the original haha
I knew you would love this one 🥰
Another banger nick
Man i love your reactions video!!
This movie is so sweet, one of my top comfort movies :')
For some reason the music in this movie reminded me of the Heffalump Winnie the Pooh movie 😂. Really loved that movie as a kid. Also love the reaction from today 😁
Oh that's such a cute movie. I watched it a lot as a kid and it has great songs
@@leahtheanimationfan40 I know right!
