I have modified several "Boreal" anoraks to have all the features this one has already...l Always move the front pouch pocket up as high as possible, for outer waist belt clearance, side zips for belt pouch/knife/pistol etc... Only thing I would add would be a below beltline pass though zippered pocket.

That hood is poorly designed. It's either a wind tunnel impacting your vision or its an animal/vet neck/head funnel.
