I forgot to mention in the video that after I left NYC and enrolled in Esthetics school. Almost everyone at my corporate job got laid off 2 weeks after me being in esthetics school. The layoff was due to the world shutdown. That timing was not coincidental, God will always help you stay 10 steps ahead.
Love this!! I also have a chronic illness called Lupus (and wheelchair bound)got hospitalized from covid a month before I was expecting to graduate. Thank God I still did but now it’s time praying for the right time to take the final to get licensed so I’ve been praying that when the time in right it will happen 🙌🏾. Thank you for showing that you can still do things despite being “sick”
How can I find more information like work/life balance being a solo esthetician? I have MS and wondering if esthetics is right for me. I’ve been wanting to do it since I was younger but coming from a Nigerian background, parents also pushed me to college. We have similar story!
Hey beautiful girl. So interesting I came across this video just looking through my subscriptions. I'm currently in the hospital rn for an autoimmune disorder. Struggling with medical insurance because I make too much for medicaid, but after my rent paid I barely have $100 lol.. insane. Did you go on SSDI or anything? I have no idea about it or how much they even give you.. if it's enough to really help. Also just want to say thank you for this video♥️ and happy to see that you're still thriving since the last time I've seen your videos months ago
I hope you get well soon! And I was never able to get disability. It’s really hard to get it with SSD. It’s hard sometimes, thankfully my parents help me when I fall short on money. Definitely try to apply and see if you can get something. I know people who do depending on your condition. And thanks so much ❤️
