@@Yourghostuncle so they take away his projectile moves they weren't really a part of his magic he had them ever since the original game so now he will be the only character without projectile moves making him look gay but if your right they should just take away all his special moves and make him do only ordinary karate moves

Love the kombo potential this game is shaping up to have. There were definately some in mk11 but, kameos adds alot to the gameplay. Very fun cant wait to see the crazy stuff coming out day 1
Nobody uses the ice trap against the Shadow kick. The ninja trailer showed you can catch Cage with it. Obviously not with armor though.

That’s a read, shadow kick looks fast and ninja doesn’t throw it out mid screen. I’m sure if ninja did throw it out, he would have adapted.

Same goes for Sub. 3 bar freeze combos in a row (4 if you use Frost). I cannot see that lasting in the final public day 1 release or patched out later on.
Why would it need to be patched or nerfed? The damage scales a lot after the second frost that the ending result is not really that crazy. So far I've seen every character is able to do over 40% combos with the right Kameo, but have not seen something that look outright broken

I'm starting to think johnny cage has no projectile moves in this game because every gameplay video I've seen nobody uses it they instead have a kameo fighter that does have one
He doesn't have projectiles in this game, just the hype meter and kameos, like you said
@worldsbest91 I can tell you about the invasion mode if you want I know some information about it I also saw some early gameplay footage of it on uncaged games you tube channel he was flown to netherrealm studios to play invasion mode and part of chapter 1 of the story mode

Takes some execution and Johnny's regular combos without Kano or hype are kinda average at best, so not really broken IMO. I think we're gonna see that loads of characters can do bigger combos than mk11, but they'll also be more difficult to perform
Its not broken a lot of the kameos in this game extend combos and its the main point of kameos anyways.
Who cares? I hope this whole game is a broken mess. You can play MK11 if you want balanced

Johnny Cage is S tier (for right now) in my honest humble opinion 😄. A vast majority of pros would place him in a tier below, but Johnny Cage is absolutely insane in this game lol

This was kabals problem in 11 and still is. Almost all, if not all, of his strings are safe.
@@worldsbest91 well duh, but its the fact his normal strings are safe anyway. Using a kameo to make sure you're safe wastes your ability to combo break if you need it, extend combos for more damage, ect.
@@Strat10100 Johnny has shit range though and I can see him struggling against zoner playstyles. I played a good sub who just kept running away and ice cloning and it wasn't easy to get in.

It is but the biggest downside is the high execution requirements. It’s really hard to fully utilize Johnny’s skills.

It also isnt helped by sitting full screen so that Jhonny can get his assists back for free, so he can then move in close and keep you jailed for 2-3 mixups.

it's a rush character, you just keep your distance and play for neutral. He has to be strong even up close, that's what he is. Y ' all want to play like retards without knowing the basics of neutral and keep saying that the doll is OP hahahaha .
Johnny doesn’t need nerfing. No character need nerfing, I don’t want a Mk11 2.0 where the game is boring and the fighters are boring.

@@mattc5647 lmao ain’t no whining, I’ve been playing mk since deadly alliance and sub zeros play style and moves are some of the most uninteresting and boring gameplay I’ve ever seen and continue to see. The only exception would be MKX but even then you still had to back up and play behind your ice clone.
