This was so fascinating, it's incredible how it was built into the cliff! wow!! What a grand history too, love the way you've filmed here, beautiful just beautiful! x
Now that is a beautiful place I never knew existed. And I was surprised, although I do not know why, to learn that churches are still stealing dead people's bones. And you speak better English than many native English speakers do. Thanks for another great video.
Ohhhh neat! Aside from castles/related stuff, you managed to appease my secondary architectural obsession; rock-cut/troglodytic structures! Especially fortresses (which are distressingly hard to find on the internet), but monasteries and such are a perfectly fine substitute. And they actually exist in more substantial numbers.
@@TheHistoryHikers but of course! I watch all your stuff, and shoot a 👍 every time ;] believe it or not, you’re one of my favorite channels on all of RUclips. You’re the only ones exploring antique castles/ruins/other stuff who give any kind of in-depth history if at all possible, and your subject matter is… well, you know, I already explained what I think about all that lol. Keep up the awesome work, guys. Oh! Btw, congrats on the upgrade to drone cinematography. It looks great! 😁

That looks absolutely fantastic, it must have taking a long time to dig out the rooms. The view over the area is stunning.
Yes, it probably did take a long time, but in devotion to God people would take all the time in the world 👍
Really enjoyed this with my earl grey debs xx
Have a relaxing rest of your week, Debs!
