~$11,000 USD difference between the TT and its equivalent A3 while being less practical and not quite different enough to drive. Basically, a TT costs S3 money and a TTS costs RS3 money and a TTRS costs S5 money (actually more when you put the options on it that make it special)...it's just super hard to justify getting one.

I know this video is quite old but if anyone knows a fair amount about audi TTs would you reccomended getting a used 2017-2019 TT with around 20-30k miles on it? I know Audi has somewhat questionable reliability in the past but I’ve heard it’s gotten much better.
Sorry this may be a month late, but this 2.0 TT is exactly the same chassis and engine as the GTI. In America they are know for carbon buildup since the engine is only direct injection. But European models have both direct and port injection to clean the carbon buildup.

Why doesn’t this TT have upshift pops from the exhaust? All S-tronic versions have it in Dynamic Mode right?

I can't imagine you see many of these in the USA? Seems like a very European car - you see lot's of these in the UK!
TT = 230hp vs A3 = 190hp
TTS=310hp vs S3 = 310hp
TTRS=400hp vs RS3=400hp
In the S and RS modles are the same engines for TT and A3..

Traded in a 2006 Mercedes SLK55...... for a 2018 Audi TTs.... no comparison !!
Pick up one of these Audi TT’s used and Slap an Apr stage 1 or 2 tune and exhaust on it and you’d have a hoot of a little daily driver without vaporizing your bank account 🤣

Because there's no need for it. You have everything you need on the best location possible (i.e. right in front of the driver). Why would you want a second screen?

Maybe it is just me and my inability to read people's emotions, but does he seem bummed out in this video? Im getting "my gf just dumped me for my best friend that she was cheating on me with while a family member is sick in the hospital, and my fav tv show was canceled the day after my dog ran away" vibes. Or maybe it's just the car that has him feeling so uninspired, lol.

I totally agree, a shame for a "premium" car.
The suspension and inside-sound seems to be really poor :/ really stiff suspension, and he keeps having to talk louder
It's a not a soft and luxurious ride, that's not its purpose in the line-up.
