Im down to these 2 options: 1) Audi TTS 2) Porsche Cayman S; although the latter costs an arm more. Im still having a difficult time deciding. Should be able to get one within 6 months in time for the 2018 model.
good review. but who in their right mind would buy a tt for practicality, that just for fun. Completely agree backseats are a gesture, nonetheless more rear space than coupes that size.
I agree it seems people that only drive all by themselves by this car and from market research that could have been proven to be true hence why they did it
@@johnnyparker2128 I never heard of S-Tronics in TT unless it was installed specigically for your regional market. Usually it is DSG - dual sequential gearbox, pretty much robot controlled manual with wet clutch. This is what in my 2013 TT 2.0T.
Great review as always, on a side note, it's really annoying how your links take me out of RUclips. Does your website really need the views that bad?, just link us to the RUclips video.
Pretty accurate. A few points that annoy me as an owner. All audis have a sunglasses holder, not the TT even though it's a sports car. No rear windscreen wiper, so if you have to reverse off your drive or down a lane and your back window is misted up or raining, you're screwed. He made getting in and out look normal, it's not... I. Not particularly tall and it tries to decapitate me getting in. Getting out you'll do this little tripping up thing everytime. Doors are super long if someone is next to you in the supermarket carpark. No where to put your phone at all. In the audi a4 avant I could put a whole wine bottle in the door. No where to put wine a wine bottle in this. Cup holder is the wrong size, you've seen better call Saul, it's the same. Either the cup goes in flush to the lid or not at all. 40mpg is defined achievable as an average. What's it like to drive? Incredible.
I don't get why any reviewer at this point would recommend the diesel engine over the very good 2.0l petrol, especially for this type of car. Hearing a noisy diesel chugging along in this kind of car, plus the surrounding issues around VW Group make it the least appealing engine especially for depreciation. If you're buying this you're not bothered by paying a little more on road tax and petrol.
This guy is amazing with his talking and stuffs. Subscribed and btw what car should I buy for a start tho ? Audi tt coupe or bmw m2 coupe or suggestions ?
I LOVE the look of this car.. but I have a GTI now and it's hard for me to consider paying so much more for the same engine and similar performance. I'd get the TTS but that car is quite a bit more expensive with the Nav and other options. Wish they put the engine from the new A4 in this.
the TT in my Country ( Indonesia ) is around $100k, which makes it a lot less interesting option as i can get the Z4 with almost less than 80k here. and with 20k spare it's a shame really because this car looks really hot.
Mat, I am looking to buy a Mk II TT, and I cannot decide on colour. Help me out here please! Brilliant Red, Monza Silver or Ibis White? I am not usually an out there, look at me kind of person, but the red is nice. The problem is that they all are. HELP!

I've got the Audi TT 1.8 TFSI 2016 in Vegas Yellow as daily car. It's a very fun car with lots to offer. The only thing I would love to have is a change on the shifter since it's quite a long throw from 2nd to 3rd for example. A bit shorter would make this the perfect car. @@perhanperhanovic2635 It does haqve the 180hp engine (TFSI 1.8). It certainly has a nice kick in 1st en 2nd gear when pushing pedal to the metal. However, as is with all cars: you get used to it and after couple of years, a bit more would be fun. But that's with all cars and other materials in our life.
