I find stuff with orbital things in it but i'm definitely not in Madagascar. I also find stuff with lines going through it similar to picasso stones, but my understanding is picasso stones are soft and can be scratched with a knife, where mine cannot be. Some are black with brown and white streaks through them. I find them throughout the cascade range.
New to the rock/stone world-and despite yearly lakefront vacations, I’ve overlooked them the last 40+ years for goodness sake! Now fascinated so thank you for sharing your collection-wowww!!
Thank you for sharing the information on the jasper. It was great. I loved your dogs in the back ground. Love both stones and dogs. Appreciate all your videos.
One of my favorite crystals is Red Jasper. Thank you for identifying many of the Jaspers. Don’t worry about barking. I have 7 dogs so it’s a given at my home
I live in Westport Washington. I know of a spot were I find allot of beach Jasper, some agates, citrine quartz and snow quarts. So far I have a 5 gallon bucket filled of all sorts of what I have found. I want to get a rock tumbler and clean them up. Some look so cool.
Thank you very much Jasper is one of the only I guess semi precious stones in New Zealand that is quite prolific and we're allowed to pick some of it. May I ask if you know if you can work with a Dremel and Jasper please. Thank you
2:32 "I don't know what you call 'em, eye designs, circular patterns"... Answer: Orbicular Patterns (more common in Agates than Jaspers though & there is a mineral group of Jasper Agates which include Ocean Jasper Agates & Agates always have Orbicular patterns beneath the surface, it just depends sometimes if the carver is good enough to polish them down to bring these patterns to the surface & even expose caverns of druse covered orbicular honeycomb clusters) Here, they haven't done a great job.
To make sure they are real, I usually pay attention to not just the appearance but the sounds jasper crystals make against each other. I shake them in my hand like dice, and they should create the sound hers made in the video. After testing it for a sound I check the crystals, there shouldn't be any scratches on the jasper crystals, just the same clean polished look as before.
I hate it when people l don't know correct me on something. So please don't take this as "oh another smart ass" because l am not. Great upload, you have some really beautiful stones too. I just wanted to point out that though your beautiful coloured jasper is beautiful, it is only called Mookite if it is from Mooka Station in Western Australia. I know l'm just splitting hairs. But l am learning about stone in general (and as mookite is local to me) you can just add this to your knowledge bank or delete it if you want. Once again thanks for taking the time to make your video. Cheers
No offense taken, and there are so many varieties of jasper I don't do extensive research on all. I use this site as a great source for verification www.mindat.org/min-27597.html and yes, they confirm what you say. And I checked my supplier's sources on their pricing sheet and what they are selling me as "mookaite" is sourced in Australia (they don't give me further geographical lineage than that.) ~Chrisy
I found some jasper (10x4x5cm) in the Czech Republic. they're all mookaite or red jasper, I was wondering if you know where I can find the other variations.
Thankyou so much for showing this video I’m currently studying revelation 4 and it talks about jasper and carnelian and emerald , would you happen to know what type of jasper comes from Israel or it’s sourounding areas ? The bowls are so nice I can’t believe they are formed like that they look manmade , and the Picasso ones are very pretty
I would love to know what they usually sell for because I'm scared to get ripped off. 😕 Even a typical red jasper. I have a bracelet that's full of them, big chunks but don't know if I overpaid?

I know this is and older posting, but I'm trying to identify a gem stone I just acquired. It looks Just like a Zebra Jasper, but with Dark Olive and black stripes. The pattern with in the stone is exactly like the Zebra Stone's. The dark olive color is where the white woul be on a Zebra Jasper. And the green muddy looking. The stripes are uniform, and close to straight lines. Could it be Jasper two? I havent seen anything like it anywhere.Any input would be appreciated. Thank's a bunch.
No. I've never heard of mosaic jasper and everything coming up under google images looks like fake dyed stuff from China....much like "rainbow calsilica" which is nothing more than layered paint.
Dalmatian jasper? I don't carry it. There are alot more kinds of jasper than the ones I show in the video, I just don't have 1 of everything to show you.
Jasper is inexpensive, so I've never heard of it being lab grown...it's not worth the trouble. Dyed gemstones will have super saturated colors that can look like they've bled into a stone like color dye onto fabric, as opposed to natural looking color patterns and more muted color.
wow! we were looking for how to figure out if it's jasper at all., so., basically., don't waste time faceting it., just make fish tank rocks out of it and sell it by the pound., ., ';'
It would be a lot more helpful to show raw stone and then polished... so we don't end up tumbling a stone for a week just to find out it isn't what we think.

I recently became rather enticed by various jaspers after mainly collecting various quartz stones and crystals. They seem so soothing!
New to the rock/stone world-and despite yearly lakefront vacations, I’ve overlooked them the last 40+ years for goodness sake! Now fascinated so thank you for sharing your collection-wowww!!
The bowl is sublime, I've got a new found love for jasper and it's energies.. Thank you for sharing this

Hi Carolyn, I can't tell from a written description. It sounds like it could be jasper or maybe serpentine or zoisite. ~Chrisy
I even have some obsidian that could be just as you described. It's a green obsidian with silver Lines through it
Nice vid. The round eye looking jasper is called orbicular jasper.
It's also called ocean jasper
Blessed
The Jasper army
I washing,,Wow it's beautiful
You should do a video on agates
Nice
I want to find jaspers
Is picture jasper the same as mosaic jasper? Ty
No. I've never heard of mosaic jasper and everything coming up under google images looks like fake dyed stuff from China....much like "rainbow calsilica" which is nothing more than layered paint.
is that how jusper looks like or are they polished?
These are polished jasper pieces. When raw the colors will be more muted.
@@ChrisyBossie Does its luster look waxy when still raw?
@@ChrisyBossie I have an example I wish you can help me figure if it is yellow jusper. How can I contact you plz! 🤗
Check out the jaspers I find
🔥🙏🏾🔥
I would like to order a couple of your bowls
You can see my current bowl inventory on my website here: www.earthegy.com/gemstone-bowls.html
I haven't seen a Doberman in about 15 years. 💙🖤💚💛
The only Jasper I didn't know was Autumn Jasper. I wonder where does it come from?
I have 23 different and I know for at least 4 of them that i don’t have...
You for got Domitian jasper and Biggs jasper
Dalmatian jasper? I don't carry it. There are alot more kinds of jasper than the ones I show in the video, I just don't have 1 of everything to show you.
Biggs jasper is a variety of picture jasper from Biggs Junction Oregon
My dog gets the same way when I'm making a RUclips video
Any idea how jasper is made?
It is a sedimentary stone which has been pressed under great pressure and a lot of time.
Jasper is the face of the LORD. All glory to the Most High
how can you tell that they are not lab grown or dyed?
Jasper is inexpensive, so I've never heard of it being lab grown...it's not worth the trouble. Dyed gemstones will have super saturated colors that can look like they've bled into a stone like color dye onto fabric, as opposed to natural looking color patterns and more muted color.
PS share a rock hound too
jasper steven universe haha
How much is it for sale?
It depends on the product. You can find it all on my website here: earthegy.com/jasper-products.html
My grandson's name is Jasper 😊
Do you sell Stone’s as well?
Yes, you can find all of my inventory at www.earthegy.com
Chrisy Bossie Thank you so much also I noticed you’re missing one type of Jasper I don’t see dalmatian jasper
There are tons of varieties of jasper, I just don't carry them all.
Chrisy Bossie I didn’t realize there were so many LOL thank you so much for responding to my comments
WE ARE THE CRYSTAL GEMS
Discerning Different Varieties of Jasper
There are more types. Like zebra, dalmatian... Good video though
u forgot DragonsBlood Jasper!
There are many more types of jasper than I show in the video but I don't have one of everything to show you.
wow! we were looking for how to figure out if it's jasper at all., so., basically., don't waste time faceting it., just make fish tank rocks out of it and sell it by the pound., ., ';'
My name is Jasper lol
It would be a lot more helpful to show raw stone and then polished... so we don't end up tumbling a stone for a week just to find out it isn't what we think.
I cannot carry every single stone in raw and polished form. My inventory is dependent on what the market has available and my budget.
i got a red jasper ring
Azrael Light super duper.
thank you very much!. :)
Love this video ❤️
The word you’re looking for is inclusion
You move way too fast I can't see a damn thing
You can slow down your playback settings on RUclips
