Nature never ceases to amaze me. Was disappointing when the rock kept breaking as you worked it, but in actuality the result was better than expected. What amazing little pieces. Cheers
All these stones turned out nice, but my favourite is the one with the clear bits in at the end. I actually prefer my gemstones to have a bit of character - if you understand what I mean. 😘🇭🇲
So lovely! I would cap them with sterling silver topped with a rotating bale. That way any side can be out and you don't have to use CA. I realize that's not your gig. But it would be really pretty. However, they are already gone.
I have never seen orange chalcedony, that's a really cool find! Too bad about the fractures but wow 😍you made it work! They are stunning! I love the mix of colors and textures!
Sometimes stone's breaking reveal's areas that we might Not otherwise see. In the past, when cutting-polishing stones, I took it as a sign to work with that new reveal to create something different.
Not all who wander are lost…some are looking for cool rocks 🥰
As a HUGE LotR fan, I approve this comment! ❤

Its a cool color for chalcedony
6:30 we also have a lot of quarts. So I'll pick up a lot that looks like candy

What is the definition of a gem stone?
When we understand diamond as carbon based.
Those are hot!!
900 !
Newbie here. May I ask, how long did it take you to buff those to that shine?
About 15-20 minutes for each.
@@RockhoundingLife Sweet. Thank you.
I would think all of them are beautiful but I would say necklaces out of them with a beautiful silver clasp or something
I found a quartz rock with amethyst crystals inside. I'm afraid to chisel it.
Go for it!

Couldn’t you put a swiveling bit on an end?
You are not using safety gloves with your saw, that’s so dangerous, you could slice your hand open.
Isn’t it orange
