What may be mistaken as bad sound at the very beginning is actually sound effects for rain, so don't let it keep you from listening to this excellent mystery. The "rain" doesn't last all that long. Judy Garland fans will surely love this even though she doesn't sing in it. I think her charm is that she sounds so natural. We believe every word out of her mouth. Please let me know if you enjoy these old radio shows. I prowl the Internet trying to find stories with great sound and solid stories that I think you might get a kick out of. Let me know if you'd like to hear comedy. I listen to Bob Hope, Fibber McGee and Molly, Red Skelton, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, but it just seems to me that the punch lines aren't funny anymore.
