Let me tell Yal something!!!!!!! I’ve tried over 25 dressing recipes trying to figure out how my sister in law from South GA makes the best dressing in the world! When I tell you THIS IS IT!!! Do EVERYTHING Ms. Angie says! It’s so delicious! The best! I will never make another recipe! My family praised me and I fed 16 people and did not have much left over. Everyone ate seconds thirds and forths! My sister in law said it was on point and wondered if someone in the family spilled her “secret” recipe. She was kind of upset that I made such delicious dressing that tasted just like hers. Lol.
Mrs. Angela, It angered me to read all of the rude comments about your recipe for how you make your dressing. I took the time to go through and respond to each rude comment. I personally don’t make my dressing like you do but I am impressed with the bread crumbs, the onion powder and the milk. I absolutely love onions and it is hard to get the onion flavor to come through when you make dressing. I am going to try some of the things that you do to your dressing. I won’t follow your recipe totally but I am going to use some of your ingredients. You know, amazing things come from changing and fine tuning recipes to suit your taste. Good cooks never follow a recipe to the letter. I am subscribing so I can see all of your great recipes.❤️❤️
@sandra skalnik I want to personally THANK YOU from my heart! No, not everyone cooks the same, but I agree strongly that we all can learn from one another. And on top of that we can put our on little twist on it. Thank you for subscribing, & I'm so happy to have you as my family here. This touches my heart deeply within reading your message here. I'm also making you as one of my Top Moderators here on my channel! So be sure to please set the bell to "ALL" so when I go LIVE you'll be notified! Again thank you so much. Now about the onion powder it simply just depends on the amount that you use, but know it's only optional! I bring these dishes to you all the way my mother, my late grandmother done them but as you say sis with my own twist on them. I so, so appreciate you 100%! I've been responding to everyone the best that I can & as often as I can. I'm always behind the scenes here working just as I am right now about to upload another video. I hope that everyone will enjoy it. The only to know if anyone will like something is to try them. Thank you sis, my love to you always! Love, Angela
Just because people say they've never used milk or never heard of it is being rude--it's just making a comment! Wow, comprehension is important so as not to come up on the negative side of what you read.
The way you make your dressing is how my Mama make hers. She use all the cream of soup(chicken, onion, mushroom, and celery). I was looking at this video and was thinking she cook just like my Mama....... WITH LOVE!!!
Hope you enjoy cuz'n @tashawnreed8580. Here's my entire recipe fpr my "Southern Homemade Cornbread Dressing". Please come back & let me know what you thought about my recipe. Dear Mrs Angela, I am not sure if you can find this product I am about to tell you about but here we go Bells Poultry Seasing that is a must in my Cornbred Dressing and I also put good old Bacon....Blessings....
@Diedra Small’s hey no shame to my game cousin. I do it all the time, cause mama & grandma would use their hands in the Kiu when. Cooking also. Let me know if you all would like for me to go LIVE right now?
I love this lady's spirit. She is a blast. I am going to make this dressing. I have made dressing year after year and always a flop. I'm will make this dressing for sure. Thank you for the receipt.
I cook my mother’s dressing too! It’s very similar to what you’ve cooked here. There are times I change mine up. Sometimes I use both poultry and sage seasonings. Other times I use just poultry seasoning. I cook a whole lot of dressing bc I have three sons and they are married and and between the three I have six grandchildren. They range in age from 21 to 5 months. Their wives don’t cook dressing and they always want dressing to take home. So, they leave with a pan of their own. I make giblet gravy too bc nobody likes dry dressing. So many of the ingredients have salt, the chicken stock, the Maggie has salt, the cream of chicken and celery have sodium. So be careful. There have been times I had to bake more cornbread and season it up to add to my original pan of dressing to fix over salting and that worked. Also be careful not to over stir bc that tends to make dressing packy. Thanks for sharing your recipe for dressing.
You're truly a Blessing! You can do it, @Pam Richardson ! Welcome to our family here, and please let me know what you thought about my Southern Homemade Cornbread Dressing. Love Cousin, Angela
I’m 60 & only tried to make it once. My mother-in-law always makes it for Thanksgiving & Christmas. I’ve been searching recipes & Angela’s seems the closest to Mamaw’s recipe. (Dressing & cranberry sauce is my favorite part of Thanksgiving!)
Wow, this is the same way my mother prepared her Cornbread dressing! I add boiled eggs and chicken to my recipe. Thanks for providing this recipe! It confirms an outstanding Cornbread Dressing!
I just came across your channel about homemade dressing and I loved how you engage with the audience as you put everything together. I’m an East Texan and was raised up in the kitchen with my mother & grandmother who could throw down in the kitchen! I know how to cook and I know how ingredients work, when I saw you adding the evaporated & whole milk I was like WHAAAT, I never thought of that & I know I must try it! Thanksgiving 2024 is 4 days away! Everyone have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🦃🍁🍽! I’m checking out your recent videos now! ❤

Hi Angela, just found you ... really am enjoying you so much...I’m eighty two years ... have been making dressing a long time .... very good but I am the last living member of my family... don’t do so much anymore but try to cook once a week for someone who can’t do much either.... and I am making YOUR Dressing... God Bless you..
First time seeing channel... I am going to try the dressing it looks so delicious... You have a soft voice glad you left the recipe hard to hear over the radio at times... Looking forward to see more of your videos thank you for sharing....
Looks good. I always grind my cornbread and biscuits in food processor. It makes quick work of making fine crumbs of the bread. Try it sometime. No clumps in the bread and not so much work.
Aww❗️Thank you so much. I’d love to hear from you to know what you thought about my recipe. Welcome to my page. Please 🙏🏾 Share & if you don’t mind please give me a thumbs up. Ty 🥰

Why are people saying the music was too loud???🤔 I thought it was nice to have it in the background and I had no problem hearing you. Very smooth and soft I enjoyed it along with watching you cook. I say keep the music. Liked the dressing video also although I've never seen it made like that. I am 62 and never to old to try something new. Thanks 😊

I have my own delicious recipe for homemade dressing that I've prepared for many years, however your use of bread crumbs and cream of chicken and cream of celery soup in your homemade dressing is much easier and the soups will adds more moisture to the dressing! Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipe, I plan to use the two ingredients in my next pan of homemade dressing.
This looks soooo good I’m not a homemade dressing maker because I’ve never had a great recipe. Can’t wait to try it. NEVER knew all of these ingredients went into dressing. #QueenTrishAnn❤🌹🦋🦋💎💎

My first time ever seeing your channel. And I have to say you was making me so hungry. I love cornbread dressing best stuff ever. I, myself also loves sage, the more the better. Makes me want to come to your home for dinner Mrs. Angie. Bless you dear and many prayers your holidays are full of love, happiness and joy. Eva from Berea Kentucky
I’m going to try your receipt. It looks delicious. I’m like you, my mother made the best cornbread dressing that I’ve ever had. She passed and her receipt went with her. Many people ( sisters, sister in laws, etc. ) have tried to make her dressing, but haven’t even gotten close to how good it was. It would help if I had it written down, but I’m going to repeat your video and try it anyway. Thanks to you for sharing!
I must say that watched your entire tutorial . I’m from the south your dressing is what I’m making for the holidays . I like the twist with the milk . But everything else I do as you do yours . Trying it this Christmas. . Thank you .

I totally love your demonstration of your beautiful home made cornbread dressing! I love the old jams playing in the back ground ! I like you being down to earth and inviting! You family ! Amen God bless you and your family this holiday cousin!
Thank you so much! I'm so happy to have you here as apart of the family here on my channel. Welcome, yes I'm an old skool person. So I love & enjoy the old skool songs especially some Barry White!
My mother-in-law always makes the cornbread dressing for our thanksgivings. Your recipe seems very similar to the recipe I think my mother-in-law uses. I don’t have her recipe…yet. My husband & I are going to visit our son for an early Thanksgiving with him since he won’t be able to travel home to spend Thanksgiving with the family. I’m going to make your dressing at his house. (I’ll cut down the recipe since it will just be for 3 people.) Bread crumbs seem so much easier & smarter than pinching fresh/toasted/stale bread. Angela, thank you for sharing your recipe & helpful hints with us.
I enjoyed watching you. It made me smile when you told the story about calling your mother for dressing. I'm the oldest as well living away from home so I do the same thing
We have always put chicken in ours. My mama made the best chicken and dressing ever. She has been gone 3 years now. I have finally gotten to where I'm close to making mine as good but hers was still so much better. Miss her so much.
Ty so much mama🙏🏾🌹💕❗️ welcome aboard. I’ll be uploading my Homemade GA Southern Sweet Potato Pies this evening! And my homemade Mac & Cheese from scratch tonight as well! My Homemade GA Peach Cobbler will be uploaded tomorrow!

That looks so delicious. I will be trying the evaporated milk in my dressing this year. Im so glad i came across your you tube channel. Thank you Ms. Angela. ❤
Wow I just found your channel and must say I have never seen dressing made this way and I declare my mother makes the best dressing ever. But I know people out there own stamp on there dressing and this looks interesting 🤔 I’m willing to try all different recipes and willing to give this one a try and loving the vibe you have up in the kitchen.

@pienash6187 hi cuz’n I’ll be recording a video tomorrow with me adding meat to my Southern Homemade Cornbread Dressing. Options that can added are Turkey or Chicken. I’ll be adding chicken on tomorrow’s video! Stay tuned video should upload by Monday evening.🤗 Ty for your love & support.
Wow, That looks delicious. As a southerner I make my mother’s recipe which is very similar. I want to try yours though. You made it look so delicious I could almost taste it while watching the video. Thank you and God Bless you and your family!
This is my favorite food and your version is close to mine. And guess what I am a 65 year old former caterer living in a nursing home after having a stroke. I sure do Miss cooking and making things and I am a Georgia Peach also!
I so enjoyed this video. I laughed so much. I will size down, it looks sooo good. I'm not a cook but I will give this a good try. It has to be delicious. Merry Christmas 12-21- 2021.

I love your voice so calm and peaceful but that music is to loud perhaps make music softer so that it doesn’t interfere while you’re explaining. thank you for the recipe with directions, love this!
I'm exhausted from looking at over 20+ vidoes on here trying to find the ONE! This is definitely the closet to how my cousin & her mother ( my aunt made it ) I couldn't get the recipe just right, I was making it too wet or too dry...So this I will try in a smaller portion, only cooking for 2...Thanks for the details of this video, its helpful for those of us who never learned how to fix cornbread dressing the right way!😊
Hello cuz’n @1stBorn538 Thank you for your comment. And I’m excited for you, I’d love for you to send me a picture. I’d like to see how it turned out for you. And to know what you think about my recipe!🤩🤗💕 Happy Holidays cuz’n❗️ If you have any questions and or concerns please feel free to leave a message here, & I’ll respond ASAP❗️💯 Love Always, Cuz’n Angela
@angelassoutherncomfortdish1353 Thank you, cuz. I'm gonna attempt ( lol ) to make it for Christmas this year, and I will give an update! I do have a question, since it's only for 2-4 servings needed, should I use 1 can each of the cream of celery & chicken--- 1 tsp of the herbs & seasonins & a half a can of evap milk & 1 egg??
@1stBorn538 cuz’n please do me a favor & call me directly. I have a designated # just for all my Cuz’ns for any questions and or concerns you may have. Here’s my direct # to reach me, I’m standing by to help & assist you right now with my recipe. The direct # is: 706-756-6724
Ms Angela, I enjoyed watching how you cook your dressing. I like to watch others cook and learn new things and new recipes. My grandma Nannie Annie, my mother and my aunts and cousins are fabulous Southern cooks. I learned a cornbread only, with chopped boiled eggs, no sage because the poultry seasoning has sage in it, thyme, parsley flakes, cream of celery and cream of chicken soups (we learned about cleaning those cans out), onion powder, garlic powder, lots of black pepper, lots of broth fortified with chicken bouillon powder(Knorr). Our dressing is so moist that it is never gritty. Sometimes we put chicken in it because we eat it other times besides Thanks- giving. Thank you for the nonstick Reynolds foil tip. Your use of canned milk and bread crumbs was interesting. Keep cooking and sharing. God Bless!
Why watch someone prepare Cornbread dressing if you a.) Already know how to prepare it or b.) Watching to see if someone cooks it exactly like you do?! First, I want to thank you ma'am for your video. Looks like you've been cooking for a long time. I'm looking forward to trying a few of these recipes you've posted. This was the first video I've had the pleasure of viewing. Secondly, to the viewers, some of yall are rude as hell. I don't know about you but I watch videos for different recipes and tastes. If you don't enjoy a particular flavor or taste, move along. Don't be rude to the lady because she doesn't do things exactly as you or your family does them. It takes courage to record yourself cooking and post it for other people to see. I've never used milk before, but it's a very interesting take on dressing. Stop being so damn judgemental!
Everyone viewing recipes on RUclips do it to get a different take or maybe switching up their own recipe to try something different, saying you don't use milk is not judging it's making a comment about how they've done it and willing to do just that--try looking at the comment with more positive perspective before cursing people out and being judgmental yourself. WHEW!
Hi cuz’n, thank you so much. I truly appreciate your support. I’m going to record a video tomorrow for those whom would like to have a smaller amount of my Southern Homemade Cornbread Dressing. Or would you like for me to provide you as to the amount you’ll need to make a smaller amount say preferably for 1 individual Ms maybe a 9X13 baking dish that can last say a week worths for leftovers. That’s if you don’t have any visitors. Please let me know as to which one would be great for you. Thanks, Cuz’n Ángela
Awesome! I’m going to do a video for those whom are looking to cook for a smaller crowd. I’ll do a 9X13 baking dish. I’ll be recording it tonight, and it will be uploaded tomorrow. Please be sure to come back & leave me , I’d like to hear your review n it. Happy Holidays cuz’n. And Blessings to you & your family always.
I LOVE YOU CUZ'N @angiedenamur4531 I truly do my best in all that I do! Even if it means I have to keep trying until I get it to my liking w/ my own spin on it. I've been responding to everyone the best that I can & as often as I can. I'm always behind the scenes here working just as I am right now about to upload another video. Directions: *(To make Angela's Southern Cornbread Dressing, see my Homemade Cornbread- Demonstration" Video on my RUclips)*!
(Omit using Season All- Salt)! Only use the amount listed for Sea Salt or whatever kind of Salt you use.
*Set oven to 350 degrees to cook Angela's Southern Comfort Dishes & Seasonings "Southern Homemade Cornbread Dressing".
*Let's make sure that our Homemade Cornbread is crumbles up very, very well! Make sure there's NO chunks of Homemade Cornbread. Now, let's add our 6- lbs., of Chicken Stock to our cornbread. Continue to use our potato masher to make sure that our cornbread is mashed/crumbled well.
*Next, add our 1 & 1/2 sticks of salted butter & mash those as well into the cornbread mix.
*Now, lets prepare to rinse our 8 Celery-stalks, & be sure to dry them very well w/ a paper-towel.
*Ok, now let's cut up our green Bell Peppers, Onions & Celery. Next, add them to our food processor to be cut up very fine in our Food Processor! We're look for our vegetables to be cut up in fine. We're NOT looking for chunks of vegetables, we need small & finely chopped pieces of Vegetables!
*In a large 10 or 12 inch skillet turn our stove on to a low/medium setting to melt 1 stick of
salted butter. Once our skillet has reached it's desired temperature let's add our vegetables to Sauteed on for 20-mins until they're translucent.
*Ok, now when our vegetables are done sauteing let's proceed to add them to our cornbread mixture. Stir completely & be sure to get the bottom of our mixing pan to make sure everything is incorporated very well.
Proceed to add our eggs & seasonings as outlined up-top for you
*This makes a serving size 25-30 people* (For a family size of 8-10 people follow same instructions & see the amount of vegetables as outlined above)
Happy Cooking/Eating & Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours!
Love, Angela

Dear Mrs Angela,
I am not sure if you can find this product I am about to tell you about but here we go Bells Poultry Seasing that is a must in my Cornbred Dressing and I also put good old Bacon....Blessings....
I truly believe our hands are the best tools in the kitchen!!! AMEN
I love love love this dressing I know how to cook it but I still use her recipe at times
Love your video.Mama dressing was the best I will try your it looks more like My Mama ♥️♥️♥️♥️ I just subscribed
I love your recipe. I will be using it. I’m a Georgia peach too. I’m from Tifton Georgia.
I'm from Columbus 💪🏾👍🏾🫶🏾
I'm from Tifton Georgia too😊
Thanks for this. I loved your video. I'm 68 yes old and never made dressing cause I thought it wouldn't be good. I think I'm gonna try now.
Great recipe, similar to my mom's without bread crumbs and milk.
Looks delicious delicious
👍🏾🫶🏾
I just came across your channel about homemade dressing and I loved how you engage with the audience as you put everything together. I’m an East Texan and was raised up in the kitchen with my mother & grandmother who could throw down in the kitchen! I know how to cook and I know how ingredients work, when I saw you adding the evaporated & whole milk I was like WHAAAT, I never thought of that & I know I must try it! Thanksgiving 2024 is 4 days away! Everyone have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🦃🍁🍽! I’m checking out your recent videos now! ❤
This looks absolutely delicious!! Can you do a tutorial on a smaller amount of dressing it’s only me and my husband
Hi cuz’n @nikkiworthy1616 I absolutely can indeed! I can also provide you full detailed information as to how to prepare it for only 2 people if you’d like for me too? Thank you so much, for your support. Welcome to the family cuz’n!🫶🩷
Thank you so much and that would be awesome if you could provide me with info for 2 people
I want to cook this dish. Please give a smaller version for myself and husband. Watching my coins…
I really enjoyed this
Aww❗️ Thank you so much❗️ Happy Mother’s Day. I truly appreciate you so much.
I know this dressing will not be short of FLAVOR! That’s the key. I’ve NEVER put milk in mine, but I’ll give it a whirl next time. I can smell this thru the screen! Thank you for the recipe! 🤗
It’s actually not a problem adding milk it will only help the moisture levels trust the process
😅😅😅
I use carnation evaporated milk in mine.
Never had cornbread dressing with milk before… I am from NOLA, so this was interesting with southern ❤️
Hi cousin Angie, I just found your channel and I loved your spirit. I will be trying this dressing in two weeks (Thanksgiving). You now have a new subscriber for life

I love that all of these holiday meals are popping up on my feed😁 I always try something new. I'm addicted to these videos.
Glad you like them!
Me too!! Been watching dressing, mac & cheese, pies & cake recipes. Loooove the variety & love seeing how others make things.

OMG this looks so good🤤! I cannot wait to make this!!! I absolutely love dressing!

Look so good I can’t wait to try this, but I don’t need to make that much.
Can this be made a day head of time
The music is over powering
Never heard of no no one putting can milk in their dressing.

Thank you, cuz.

WHEW!
Could have done without the music. I am definitely trying this recipe.
I followed your recipe last year and it was the best ive ever eaten and im gonna do it again this yr..thank you so much for sharing...
Omg it looks soo good I'm really going to try this!! You go Georgia peach!!!
