    Yesterday, i ordered the VEVOR 3 ton version (white).
    The handle on that model is different in that it doesn't move. It is stationary. No issue with pinching the hose.When I saw you pick up that van and then the welding truck, I did get excited for mine to arrive. LOL
    I have to change out the winter tires for summers and only have the floor jack type.
    I think I can wait for the air bag jack to arrive then change the tires.
    I hope this old bag lasts a long time.... (cough)... so to speak.
    👍😁👍

    That's super cool good for old guys like there's not much fun crawling under vehicles anymore

    They are awesome,I got the 3 tonne one for doing maintenance on my wife’s car and my car. Having a bad back from doing mechanical work for 30 plus years this jack is a lot easier on my back than my old floor jack and bottle jacks.

    I’m intrigued by the design of your press brake. Will you have a video on it?

    I see online only the Vevor ones are available and considering the price I think it will do.
    My 25 year old trolley jack no longer pumps up and the rebuild kit is no longer available.

    I have this jack as well and it's great but one thing that conerns me is that it tilts slightly when at higher heights. Is there an explanation for this or does it serve a purpose? Otherwise it seems unsafe.

  • @SomeTechGuy666

    The top plate on the air bag is not stabilized. It can tilt and move side to side. It is super sketchy to use spacers on top of it. It should have spacers under the base.
    I agree that it has impressive travel and lifting capacity. I am going to get one for working on my bus.

      it can only move slightly side to side unless the ring clip that holds the guts in comes off like mine did and bout dumped a 6,000lb truck on my head

    What size air compressor is required for use with this jack? Does the compressor size change with the amount of weight being lifted?
    Thanks.

    • @CPUDOCTHE1
      @CPUDOCTHE1 Год назад +3

      From what I read, it required about 120 PSI to lift 11,000 lbs, so you get about 100 lbs of lift per 1 PSI. So if your compressor only puts out 80 PSI, you can only lift a little less than 8,000 lbs.

    How big of an air compressor is best to use this?

    • @WideVisionMetalFab
      @WideVisionMetalFab  Год назад +1

      It doesn't take much. I used a 10 gallon "air bubble" filled to 120 psi, and was able to fully extend the jack 3 times. It was lifting maybe 4,000 lbs at the time. (rough guess)

    If you have a trailer hitch put the jack on it

    Sadly looks like it is too tall to go under your van if the tire is actually flat. The key will be if the rubber doesn't dry rot crack and fail in 5 years or less.

    Impressive, part of the wider foot print is the pro of a nice study grounding point. Love to see it with a metal mesh sleeve around the rubber to protect it from, well we all know what happens when we aren't paying attention, LOL. :)
