Hello and thank you . Finally picked up my trd off road and installed the same Tyger auto side steps . Couldn’t be any happier . No clearance loss and they are heavy duty .🙏
YAK, order the boards and easy install didn't even need directions just watched your video, they are bad a%%$ thanks for the video. Exactly what I wanted for the TRD!!!
@@michaelfera7935 very cool dude! I feel like an uncle and your my nephew having a baby. I run stock size bfg ko 2. 270 70 17. Have 35k on them, still lots of tread. I live northern Arizona back around old Route 66. I drop air to about 22 psi off roading. I go over everything. Sand, rocks and snow. Stellar performance. Sand it goes, but as all around hard to beat. Try everything with your stock tires first. Air down and just enjoy the best off road vehicle!
@@fortyfourrobo544 hahaha I know right! I was actually looking at the BFG KO2's in 265/75/16. I don't think I will lift or level the truck right away, but I worry about rubbing.
Mine actually protected me when I was side-swipped on the highway. Guy pulled right into me as I was passing. The side steps absorbed the entire damage. Door dings is the main reason I like them.
I never considered this benefit of running boards before. Glad that Yak pointed this out because now (as an angry recipient of many parking lot door dings), I'll have to get some for mine!
Great review and install! just lifted my 2019 trd long bed. 3/2 level kit with 33 inch tires. I need a step but I don’t want to loose clearance. These boards are perfect. Ordered today! Subscribed too- our trucks are same color too! Thanks again!
Excellent video, when I get my Tacoma I will be installing these. An upgrade that will last for a long time is a Viair 300p air compressor for your tires. Airing your tires down when off road will give you better traction and make your tires last longer. Also, traction boards, I use xbull, there are better, but if go through their web site it comes with free shipping and are only $59 us . I use a tow strap for pulling out Fords and Jeep’s from harbor freight. If you can afford better, go for it. Otherwise you have a great fully capable vehicle that can go and do more than most people are capable of. Congratulations dude! I feel like an uncle who’s brother just had a baby.
Wow, thanks for all these tips! Yah I am still learning lot of new information about trucking, you give me a good list to look into, thanks again for watching and the kind feedbacks, take care!
@@bebe0928 I have Tacoma envy, but am very happy for you. I am sure you worked hard your whole life and you deserve to have the best bro! Congratulations! I will have one one day, but will still keep my 4th gen 4runner. Rock on Yakfish, please make a video of you off roading.
I used to sell Toyotas in San Diego many years ago. All Toyota salesman and managers refer to the model number rather than calling it a TRD Tacoma four-wheel-drive long bed. You have a 7568. Just thought you would like to know you can Google it. I commented before I’m very jealous even though I just purchased a new 2021 4 Runner SR-5 Premium 4X4. Your 7568 is extremely rare. Most are 5 ft boxes. I think thise look odd with the big four-door cab. Congratulations again the truck nice choice on the running boards. I’m facing that decision myself and can’t decide what style for the 4 Runner.
Wow, good to know my truck is rare, makes me feel special lol! Yah I just looked 7568 and it seems that way indeed. I guess I was luck that the dealer was able to lock onto one in transit and I put the down payment right the way to secure it. Thanks for the kind feedbacks, and congrats on your 4Runner, it's a bullet proof SUV for sure, hope you'll find the idea style board for your 4Runner. Thanks again for visiting my channel, I've just subcribed to your channel as well, good contents. Take good care!
I’ve just watched your pilot review video and am watching this one. You mentioned you got the Honda factory running boards for the pilot and this one, you didn’t get factory Toyota running boards. Could you explain why? I want to install running boards on my pilot but am curious if I can get a better bang for my buck with non factory running boards. Great videos!!!
Hi, thank for watching and commenting. We got the factory board for the Pilot simply because it was the first year of the model and there pretty much no aftermarket options out there, lol.
Very nice video. Thanks! I would purchase this running board for my new off road. Do you have the measurement from ground to the bottom of the running board? Thanks!
Hello, please tell me - what documents are needed, registration, permission for such a boat with a motor. I have the same boat, but I'm recently in Oregon and don't know your rules. I don't want to break the rules, all states have different rules. Thank you.

You are sitting on an investment for sure. 👍
Very nice, I’m leaning towards these for my 2021 tundra pro. Thank you.
Great!
Thats a great video, been looking for the right board and u found em for me thanks!!!
Glad to hear it's helping you to find what you need, thanks for watching and the kind words, take care!
How much the cost of the running board?
Good job Yak. So happy for you.
I did similar but added rocks sliders instead for even more all around protection.
I'm a customizer and I have to say those look nice. I have the Tyger rock sliders on my PRO. 👍
Wow thank you very much well explained!!

Tacoma is a great truck
Good choice, looking good. A job well done.
Thank you!
Looks good I subbed to follow the Tacoma build
Thank you! Much appreciated ☺️
Just received my Tyger Blades today. Did you use a torque wrench at all?
I used locktite and reasonably tight and not over torque it, so far held up well after almost 3 years
Very nice video. Thanks! I would purchase this running board for my new off road. Do you have the measurement from ground to the bottom of the running board? Thanks!
Thanks! From the ground to the bottom of the running board is just hair under 15”
Wonder why you selected the side steps/running board rather than the rock sliders?
I thinks because I didn't really know the different. Yeah, at this point I just sort of went by looks as feel lol :D
My bolts were 12mm. Same truck.
Very nice what name is the window visor I need to buy one let me know thanks
Nice truck - thanks for this install video!

Great job!
Thanks!
I find running boards make washing the truck easier.
Totally
The ground clearance is measured from the differential the lowest part underneath the truck
I see, good to know, thank you!
Nice vid but mines came out so much different
How much you paíd for those?
$294 on Amazon www.amazon.com/Tyger-Auto-TG-BL2T7078-2005-2019-Textured/dp/B079YKT9CX
Nice truck, but it’s pricey 🤣 I couldn’t afford it!
Get on with it
有空带我去兜风
