      @@michaelfera7935 very cool dude! I feel like an uncle and your my nephew having a baby. I run stock size bfg ko 2. 270 70 17. Have 35k on them, still lots of tread. I live northern Arizona back around old Route 66. I drop air to about 22 psi off roading. I go over everything. Sand, rocks and snow. Stellar performance. Sand it goes, but as all around hard to beat. Try everything with your stock tires first. Air down and just enjoy the best off road vehicle!

      @@fortyfourrobo544 hahaha I know right! I was actually looking at the BFG KO2's in 265/75/16. I don't think I will lift or level the truck right away, but I worry about rubbing.

    Never liked running boards but if they protect door dings I am all for them.👏🏽👍🏽

    • @johnyracercat
      @johnyracercat 3 года назад +2

      Mine actually protected me when I was side-swipped on the highway. Guy pulled right into me as I was passing. The side steps absorbed the entire damage. Door dings is the main reason I like them.

      I never considered this benefit of running boards before. Glad that Yak pointed this out because now (as an angry recipient of many parking lot door dings), I'll have to get some for mine!

    Great review and install! just lifted my 2019 trd long bed. 3/2 level kit with 33 inch tires. I need a step but I don’t want to loose clearance. These boards are perfect. Ordered today! Subscribed too- our trucks are same color too! Thanks again!

    Excellent video, when I get my Tacoma I will be installing these. An upgrade that will last for a long time is a Viair 300p air compressor for your tires. Airing your tires down when off road will give you better traction and make your tires last longer. Also, traction boards, I use xbull, there are better, but if go through their web site it comes with free shipping and are only $59 us . I use a tow strap for pulling out Fords and Jeep’s from harbor freight. If you can afford better, go for it. Otherwise you have a great fully capable vehicle that can go and do more than most people are capable of. Congratulations dude! I feel like an uncle who’s brother just had a baby.

    I used to sell Toyotas in San Diego many years ago. All Toyota salesman and managers refer to the model number rather than calling it a TRD Tacoma four-wheel-drive long bed. You have a 7568. Just thought you would like to know you can Google it. I commented before I’m very jealous even though I just purchased a new 2021 4 Runner SR-5 Premium 4X4.
    Your 7568 is extremely rare. Most are 5 ft boxes. I think thise look odd with the big four-door cab.
    Congratulations again the truck nice choice on the running boards. I’m facing that decision myself and can’t decide what style for the 4 Runner.

    • @bebe0928
      @bebe0928  3 года назад

      Wow, good to know my truck is rare, makes me feel special lol! Yah I just looked 7568 and it seems that way indeed. I guess I was luck that the dealer was able to lock onto one in transit and I put the down payment right the way to secure it. Thanks for the kind feedbacks, and congrats on your 4Runner, it's a bullet proof SUV for sure, hope you'll find the idea style board for your 4Runner. Thanks again for visiting my channel, I've just subcribed to your channel as well, good contents. Take good care!

    I’ve just watched your pilot review video and am watching this one. You mentioned you got the Honda factory running boards for the pilot and this one, you didn’t get factory Toyota running boards. Could you explain why? I want to install running boards on my pilot but am curious if I can get a better bang for my buck with non factory running boards. Great videos!!!

    • @bebe0928
      @bebe0928  2 года назад

      Hi, thank for watching and commenting. We got the factory board for the Pilot simply because it was the first year of the model and there pretty much no aftermarket options out there, lol.
