I've been on board the Bully 2 hype-train for a little while now. Some credible leaks came out suggesting the game is in development. I really want to see how a modern day Rockstar would handle an open world high school game like this. I saw the game trending on twitter last week, so now I know a lot people are as excited as me. Honestly if the map is the same size as the original bully, they can make this the most detailed game of the generation! without having to spread it out across an enormous map, they can put the smallest of minut details everywhere and probably make every building enterable!

When I saw the words "Endless Summer" my eyes just teared up. I still remembered the first time I beat the game, was just a young 10-11 y/o girl not even able to speak english fluently. I stayed up late because the latter chapters are too intense and I just can't call it a day, and the next day was weekend so I was free. My little sister also stayed up late with me to watch me playing. It was fun, Jimmy's rise and fall affected me so much. And when I finally beat Gary and saw "Endless Summer" in the screen. Two simple english words that's within my understanding, I just laid there on my bed, staring at the tv, thinking this is it... Seeing it in red dead redemption made me remember those days almost a decade ago...
Bully is one of those rockstar games where I was just too young to play it correctly but as I got older I started going to class following through story etc.Just a great game from the best studio in gaming

Tbh I think it will, rockstar just seems to go harder and harder with deep and emotional stories, plus a lot of the people interested in bully 2 played bully 1 as a kid and are adults now so I think they’re gonna be getting people emotional/nostalgic about that too.

There is also other small tidbits of information, if you look at for example, the actors who played Petey/Gary/etc, they all but 'confirm' that they've worked on bully 2. Petey's actor quite literally said he worked on bully 2 but he's waiting for its release and 'hopefully its soon'. That's not surprising seeing as they would have probably been in bully 2 with Jimmy as the main character. It was cancelled and everyone was moved to work on GTA 5. This has gained a huge hype train around bully 2 but I think its kind of misguided, I don't think this is a new project, but the cancelled one. Now there is a question, we know that bully 2 was basically all but complete except for actually being produced, so would they release it with updated graphics? I say no, because today's world of gaming dwarfs a title from 2010, even a rockstar one, plus, to scrap it, they must've not had allot of faith in the project. So I say that they're going to make a new game from scratch. Now lets look at some other information, Rockstars parent company said that they want rockstar to release games more frequently and have been turning up the heat on them. So, looking at this, I do think that GTA 6 is on the horizon FOR SURE. I bet the only reason it hasn't been released is because they want the online to be massive, they're basically creating a SP game with a multiplayer game, and its going to have insanely high expectations and obviously they're going to want to deliver. GTA 5 Online realistically is too big and bloated for what it is, they didn't expect it to be this popular, so now the next title needs to compensate that, with much more. I wouldn't be surprised if GTA 6 has tons of planned DLC too, they're building a foundation for that game to be massive, but where does that leave bully? Well, if its not overshadowed by GTA 6's online or DLC, I do see bully getting released due to the pressure applied by their parent company, not to mention all of the little Easter-eggs. They're building hype slowly but surely before they drop it. Bully probably won't get the support that GTA will, but I think its going to be big.

GTA IV also has a couple of NPCs wear Jimmy's default school uniform. One can even be seen in one mission's cutscene (One of Elizabeta's missions but i cant recall which). Hope that one can make it to the unused easter eggs lists
Fun fact: an "Endless Summer" achievement has an unintentional double spin to it. In Russian localization this achievement has a name "Бесконечное Лето" (Everlasting Summer), which can also be a reference to the visual novel about the Soviet summer camp. I don't now how famous it is outside Russian-speaking countries, but I sure had a lot of fun seeing this :D

I once heared a theory from a You tuber which said that Jimmy Hopkins died when he and Gary fell through the headmasters roof. Because after you fall a black screen apears. Not only that. After you fall everything seems so perfect. Gary gets expelled, the headmaster believes Jimmy, Pete Kowalsky gets the students prep., all the damage that was made during the huge war between the gangs at the end is just erased, everyone has big cheer, Zoe comes and kisses Jimmy. And after all that the time is called the endless summer. What does it mean? Well it means that Jimmy is stuck in his mind. He doesn't live anymore and he doesn't age. After all he doesn't even sees his mom again. That theory destroyed every good memory of ut because this ine seems so true. PS2 .. damn this game was ahead of its time we could be around a city, be at a school, be swimming or climbing be reading or fighting people from all ages , advanced npc interaction and much more (atleast for the times)
They constantly remake GTA V every time a new console comes out but haven’t even tried to remaster Bully. Hopefully since the remastered the GTA Trilogy they can at least remaster Bully
There is no other game that gives me nostalgia like Bully. I’m not sure if a sequel will live up to the first one but I trust R* with it. I’m also pretty sure that Dan wrote a script for Bully 2 before he left the company since it’s also one of his favorite games.

This is what I like about Rockstar. They are always subtle with their Easter Eggs to their other games, the Easter Eggs aren't in your face.

I once heared a theory from a You tuber which said that Jimmy Hopkins died when he and Gary fell through the headmasters roof. Because after you fall a black screen apears. Not only that. After you fall everything seems so perfect. Gary gets expelled, the headmaster believes Jimmy, Pete Kowalsky gets the students prep., all the damage that was made during the huge war between the gangs at the end is just erased, everyone has big cheer, Zoe comes and kisses Jimmy. And after all that the time is called the endless summer. What does it mean? Well it means that Jimmy is stuck in his mind. He doesn't live anymore and he doesn't age. After all he doesn't even sees his mom again. That theory destroyed every good memory of ut because this ine seems so true. And if this one is true then I don't think there will be a Bully 2 because Jimmy is dead. It is so fucking dark

PS2 .. damn this game was ahead of its time we could be around a city, be at a school, be swimming or climbing be reading or fighting people from all ages , advanced npc interaction and much more (atleast for the times)

There is no other game that gives me nostalgia like Bully. I’m not sure if a sequel will live up to the first one but I trust R* with it. I’m also pretty sure that Dan wrote a script for Bully 2 before he left the company since it’s also one of his favorite games.
