i have tried a couple times to make these and this process is by far the best one. Perfect bath fizzies every time! I am making these for my daughter's gender reveal. Thank you!
There really is a knack to doing this and you got it down xx I would have died for a video like this ten years ago, as it took me years to get my bombs right. Loved the end when you saw the colour xx

Finally! I found a tutorial on how to get my bombs out of the molds! I was having the hardest time trying to get them to stick (found out that was due to it being too damp) or trying to get them off without splitting the bombs in half. After watching this I ran over and mixed up my ingredients and tried it out and it worked perfectly! First try! I had to use coconut oil instead of liquid silicone but hey, it still worked :) Thanks so much! xoxo
Do you still use coconut oil or something else? I finally was able to get mine out after using coconut oil yet am wondering if there is something better.

I see that I am very late to this post, but just a question, if I am just doing this for a gender reveal and not for an actual bath, do I need this particular coloring, or can I just use food coloring and get the same results?

+Saumya Agrawal Thank you Saumya! Cyclomethicone helps the bath bombs slide out of the molds easily. If you don't have it on hand, you can use mineral oil, or skip that step. It's an optional step. =)

+just some awesome girls We recommend using La Bomb Colorants for this recipe! Food coloring is often mixed with water, which can cause the bath bombs to fizz prematurely. These do harden up nicely! If you find yours are staying soft, they're likely too wet. You can prevent that by adding less oil or witch hazel to the bath bombs. Is it weird that my water is oily after putting bath bomb in? And not so foaming. Is it because I added Epsom salt? what ratio I should put in for Epsom salt?
This recipe makes about 4-5 bath bombs. So, you can double it and make a couple batches, or make five batches of this recipe. Working in smaller batches is a bit easier because don't have to mold the mixture as quickly as you would with a large batch. =)

How long should I wait before using the bath bomb? Thank you
Instead of witch hazel can i use water? And for the dye is there another alternative to use??
From what I've seen yes. I don't use witch hazel yet I hear it will give you better results as the water causes premature foaming/fizzing.
Love this video !

I see that I am very late to this post, but just a question, if I am just doing this for a gender reveal and not for an actual bath, do I need this particular coloring, or can I just use food coloring and get the same results?

how many bathbombs were you able to make with those measurements? i have to make 25, so i need some help with the recipe
