Song came out in 2011. One of the last BB songs made. MCA was undergoing cancer treatment at the time and passed a year later. So many of their songs have good beats and the way they flow with each other, their chemistry is unmatched.
Yeah it's messed up how MCA made it sound like the cancer was nothing he'll be back on his feet then all of a sudden he's gone I thought it came out in 2010 but or around then you know but yeah the whole 30 minute video is awesome I'm wondering did everyone do it for free or do they have to pay for people because if I was famous and if Beastie Boys came up to me I would do whatever the fuck they wanted
So, the way it goes is what you've read and watched. I'm currently fighting cancer at 46. Ironically, I always had to be MCA when we'd do some karaoke or just be messin' around at parties. Even in the city school yards at recess. Goin' back and forth with RUN DMC, LL, Sugar Hill Gang, Treacherous 3... I miss my boys. Only got to see them once and it was sick- cypress hill came out, q-tip came out... I lost my mind. That was '94. Thanks for this. We were rap battlin' for these guys with Paul Revere in '85 (2nd grade for me). Anyway, I appreciate your appreciation for the weirdest hip-hop EVER!!! ❤
Every single person in this video is famous it's crazy the extended version is amazing MCA did a great job on this I think he directed it I believe I could be wrong
@@balohna My vinyl copy list the following samples that Ad Rock said are all made up. He said they sampled themselves and made up artists and record companies as a joke. He also did a Top 50 songs ever for Rolling Stone and the whole list was made up. You should google it. In the thumbnail it look like you we're going to hate on the Beastie Boys so I clicked on this obviously to leave my two cents but I guess there's no two cents to the left yeah Beastie Boys are amazing it sucks that MCA died because who knows what else they had left

Beastie Boys are amazing I mean they're one of the first to mix Rock and rap they were truly unique and they've been doing this since the '80s
It's not Spider-Man, it's Frodo Baggins

I love the fact that this guy see's all the parody and cameos! It's real but it's not real!

I think they played the majority of stuff on this album too.

Yeah that was Rashida Jones from Parks and Rec, but that wasn't Spider-Man, it was Frodo Baggins
Anyone notice Mr. Pink in the restaurant scene?
Please watch the full version! I think mca had his own video production company.
Yeah its all famous people.
MCA's voice is clearly changed because of throat cancer in these later songs. 💔
They did the album before he came down with the cancer late in '09. the were about to go on tour and then the cancer hit rip MCA...
You should check out the whole extended video. They do a b-boy dance battle after this scene and it is so hilariously bad.
There is an extended version of this video...it’s a real pisser.
Took a long time for the algorithm to get this to me.
