Tango, the music of the sad losers! I'm Argentinean and I know what I say. Tango is a music born in brothels in the beginning of century XX. Take a close look at the dance: two step forwards from the leading man and one step back from the woman, moving her legs as trying to trip the man over. That represents the dance in the brothels, the prossy trying to get rid of the sad loser and the loser forcefully grabbing the prossy and forcing her to dance on. If you understood Spanish and the Tango lyrics, you will understand that it’s all manly whining and whingeing that the woman don’t love the loser. Are you British? Well, underestand that Tango it’s all about losers like in Coronation Street or Emmerdale, all pseudo-macho wanker men craving for love that it’s never there. Tango doesn’t represent the whole of Argentina. Tango is the music of Uruguay and Buenos Aires, which should have formed a country together and bugger off! People from the provinces of Argentina have little in common with the Bs As wankers. In my case, we from Cordoba rather listen to what with call “cuarteto” music, which is epitomised by Mona Gimenez, Negro Videla and Pelusa; anyone of them far bigger than Gardel.
Ohhh I love those street markets 😍😍 and the Tango dancers everywhere!! It’s like live is in the air everywhere you guys go with all of these artists and dancers. Lovely 🥰

Wow, thank you so much for telling us about the history and also for your recommendation for an Ice Cream shop 😊🙏 We really appreciate it All the best 👍
Go to Cadore the Best ice cream Shop around the World! It is located in Corrientes Avenue few meters Parana street The Shop its very small sometime you must line up and wait but depends.
Just checked the cambio - 1 USD = $ 1,028 pesos 1 CAD $ - $ 712 pesos How much is a loaf of bread in pesos ? Antique stores in foreign countries are AMAZING, I used to buy from auctions in Florida There are some amazing stores in Gravata PE , one claimed he had a Monet Used to sell antiques to Mr Brennan of Recife. If you have not seen to the Brennan museum there, it's amazing. Mr Brennen caught Covid and died
Yes their currency is becoming stronger by the day. We don't usually buy toasts since we are spoiled by the great French baguette in Montreal. However, to give you an idea today I bought a baguette, a normal size and not the biggest or the best, but with a very good quality and it was around $4USD. This is like what we used to pay in Montreal for a baguette!!! That's why I mentioned in my previous reply to your comment that things are not cheap here. At least the quality of the food and dairy products here are much better than in Canada.
ARGENTINA is a wonderful country, very beautiful Would be easy to live there UNTIL winter comes ! Is it safer than Brazil or the same? Is it cheaper than Brazil with CAD $$ ?
Hey, how are you? Happy holidays 👋😊 Yes even during our visit now from time to time we are really cold!! So, I can only imagine how cold it gets during winter. In terms of safety, I would say it is much safer than Brazil and especially since we have been walking so much in Buenos Aires which is another issue that you usually face in Brazil: In Brazil the cities are not really walkable! In terms of affordability, either with CAD or USD it would have been much much cheaper last year and by that I mean probably 50%-60% cheaper. Right now, in Argentina the new president is doing a lot of reforms and just in the past few weeks their currency has become more and more stronger. This makes us happy because even though for us as tourists it is not a good thing, but it means that for the locals after years of economic uncertainty and hyper-inflation, they can finally have some stability and we have heard from the locals that the purchasing power of people is increasing. For us, everything is more expensive than in Brazil: food, rent, clothes, etc. We hope that it is only a phase and eventually it brings some stability to the country since it is a wonderful place, the country has so much potential, the people are so smart, aware, knowledgable, and just genuinely sweet. You can talk to poeple about everything (Politics, economy, finances, art, history, etc.) and regardless of their job or their education, they are all experts in all of those subjects and that's what I meant by saying that they are aware. They have a much better understanding of the world. Also, So many people speak English which is another thing that in Brazil is still not that common. If you compare the population of the 2 countries, the percentage of people who speak English in Argentina is way higher than in Brazil. On the other hand, they don't have the warm weather and beautiful beaches of Brazil. So, each country is truly unique in its own way. All that to say that if you get a chance to visit Argentina, you should definitely do it ;) All the best
@@robertoraularias4306 ohh yes I am always cold in Argentina, I know the problem is me, but I just don’t understand the obsession with AC being on maximum all the time. Also, we lived in Canada so when you go through winters with -40 or -50 degrees, then you never want to feel cold ever again, however I do know that this is my problem and I have to work on it 🤦🏻😂😂😂 All of that being said, we absolutely love Argentina 🇦🇷 Thank you so much for watching our video and for your kind comment. All the best 😊👍
@@1dering1 we hope everything works out for the best for Argentinians. The people in this country are so sweet, knowledgeable, hard working, respectful, genuine, and have so much potential so we really wish the best for the locals and really don’t mind being here even though things are more expensive for us. We hope we can help the local businesses as much as we can 😉
Negrito, dicen q las motanas de la costa son dificiles de pasar y q los Chinos ya no tienen para pagar ese costo. Tambien ya le robaron toda la technologia a Embrear y los Brazileros han perdido la significancia 😊
