Hello 👋 Thank you so much for watching our video and for your kind comment 🙏 We are absolutely enjoying this beautiful city and this wonderful country. All the best 👍
Hi guys. Those of us who live in Buenos Aires city are called "porteño" because of the Port of Buenos Aires. The original name of the city of Buenos Aires, at its foundation, was the City of the Holy Trinity and Port of Santa María del Buen Ayre. Historically, both the inhabitants of the city of Buenos Aires and the inhabitants of the nearby territory, the current metropolitan area of Buenos Aires, were called porteños, since they made up the same political-economic-cultural district. After the separation of the city of Buenos Aires from the Province of Buenos Aires (1880), the name Buenos Aires began to be used only for the inhabitants of the City of Buenos Aires, with Buenos Aires being used for the inhabitants of the Province of Buenos Aires.
Hi there, thank you so much for watching our video and also for sharing with us all of this interesting info; we really appreciate it 🙏😊 Please do keep in touch. All the best 👍
Buenos Aires is nicknamed: Paris of America, and it's no coincidence..... in the mid-19th century, Paris was demolished and rebuilt as we know it today, shortly after Buenos Aires was also demolished and rebuilt in the image of Paris, with its architectural styles of that time: beaux arts/academicism-art nouveau/deco, and with the layout of large avenues/boulevards/diagonals and proliferation of parks, like Paris......
Boa noite amigos! Parabéns pelo trabalho. As imagens ficaram lindas e pudem ver as lindas construções e suas arquiteturas. Interessante a cidade..
Also, sorry about the other person that was making a lot of disrespectful comments. We have reported him and we believe that now RUclips has removed his comments from the channel. Once again thank you so much for your understanding and kindness 😊
@@global_citizens the effort u put tnto providing information about the city is very valuable, regarding the symmetry Casa Rosada had at one time, it's something almost unknown to all Argentines.

En realidad es la Paris de America, no hay ciudad en todo el continente que se parezca a Paris como la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
@@susanabarth6393 yes absolutely 👍

VERY NICE in the summer, I bet it snows there in the winter just like it does in Porto Alegre and Curitiba
It is a very European city with a unique charm! Thanks for your comment and for watching the video!
No, snow is extremely rare in Buenos Aires. Only happened two times in the last 100 years.
Thank you so much for the information!

Casa Rosada was symmetrical, its south wing was demolished to allow the layout of the street goes down to the coast (in that time)
Thanks for watching the video and for the information. We try to get it right but sometimes it doesn’t work 😊

How is the safety? It doesn’t seem to be that bad.
Very safe!! No problem at all so far!
is the second safest capital of entire America: 2,8 homicides/100K ppl, just behind Ottawa (Canada): 1,2 homicide/100K
