I went to several of Georges concerts in the early 80's and he always put on a great show. You could just see he was having a good time and giving it his all.
It’s crazy to think they wouldn’t go for a guy like George thorogood who actually sings and performs and instead go with half naked women with no real claims to fame
I been listening to his first album that was re released over and over again. So damn good and raw. The Delaware Slide got me doing 120 on the way to work each morning lol.
George Thorogood is like a combination of Mick Jagger and Chuck Berry... if you've seen him in Concert you know what I mean... Bad to The Bone is George Thorogood's homage to Bo Diddley's "I'm a Man" that's why he's playing Pool against Bo in the Original Music video of Bad to the Bone... listen to I'm a Man to hear George's inspiration...
George must be the only cover band in history that made a killer living at music and became so popular and sold tons of records, almost all cover songs.
@@yeahright302 Lots of bands don't make a living doing covers. They might do a cover here and there like Judas Priest did 2 covers but not entire albums like George.
@@twootters7433 hes got alot of his own material,he just likes the good ole songs by those guys and wants to play them, just respect and what the hell make a buck or 2 playing!
I used to love George Thorogood but this looks like he has a totally new band. Is that Hank Carter still playing sax? Jeff Simon on drums? Bill Blough on bass? If it is then they all look different than I remember.
That sure is Jeff Simon and Bill Blogh. Hank Carter got fired in 2003, and replaced by Buddy Leach. Jim Suhler (guitar) has been in The Destroyers since 1999.
bad 2 the bone really?way overplayed.rock party, the usual, nightrider, gear jammer so many great songs that never get played.its always the same ol same ol.
Bad To the Bone my favorite Band George thorogood and the Destroyers

Love George, he should do a superbowl halftime show. The network probably wouldn't allow it tho.
He wouldn’t fit the NFL’s profile these days. He would be great, though.

@@chrisjacob1446 yeah but George doesn't claim they are his songs. And he has almost entire albums of covers.

I like Thorogood but that performance wasn't that polished and seemed off and not rehearsed .
