  • Miracle Fruit! First Time Eating Guyabano in The Philippines!
    || Life in Quarantine Day 10 Batangas City Daily Vlog ||
It's Day 10 of Community Quarantine here in the Philippines! We are in the farm of Tere's family in Batangas City and this is the time I am able to appreciate the fruit-bearing trees around us. I was bored this afternoon so I walked around the farm and then I saw this fruit which I have not noticed before. It's weird looking with spikes in the covering of this big heart-shaped fruit. I found out from Tere that it's called a Guyabano fruit! I got more curious so I searched it online and found out that it's considered a miracle fruit because of it's many health benefits specifically for its cancer-fighting compounds. I definitely won't pass this chance to try for myself this weird looking but "miraculous" Guyabano fruit. Watch the video and find out if it really tastes as good as what they say!

Hi Mirco, it's called Soursop or Graviola in English. The best way to eat Guyabano is to cut it "Lengthwise" and slice it into "about two inches lengthwise", like slicing a watermelon or "half moon", and eat it directly without using a spoon. Just spew out the seeds, coz its bitter.

People eat them for csncer prevention that is why so expensive.
