Seems good. Gotta do the 55 next. But they definitely need a redesign on this…7.7 seconds is CRAZY for that price and vehicle.

@@DMCarReviewsit’s been out since 2016…idk man. It’s definitely holding out, just like the xc90. Just if I were to get one, certainly wouldn’t be this one as 7.7 secs to 60 is slower than most mainstream midsize 3 rows, would have to be the 55 or sq7.

@bradleyscarreviews It's not 3 seconds slower. I did not test it with launch. 7.7 seconds is great for a 5000 lbs SUV, idk what you're complaining about. You can get the Model X Plaid if acceleration is your only priority :)

I dont get it. At this price in Europe you get a Q5 with a 2.0 engine (literally what I paid for mine), not a Q7. Why the hell the cars are so much cheaper in the US?

@@sergiysergiy in Europe (dobry wieczór btw :P) VAT is included in the price, in America, states have different tax rates that are slightly different so prices are advertised as before tax. A couple states don't have car tax but some have up to ~8.25%, so the price can vary from 64,000USD to 70,000USD after tax, and there are also vehicle property taxes that must be paid every year, these are something like 2% of the cars value every year, and they scale year over year with the car's value.

Very sluggish. Should be a mild hybrid that would help the acceleration especially at this price point.

It is a mild hybrid. If 7-8 seconds in a 5000+ lbs family SUV is not enough, you should consider vehicles like the Tesla Model X Plaid, which can do around 3 seconds 0-60. People don't buy this car to drag race, they buy it to get their families safely from A to B in great comfort, safety, and refinement.

Any true luxury car needs to do 0-60 in under 6.5 seconds. That’s the bare minimum to have that “luxurious” effortless sensation when passing and merging. Put your foot down, kick-down, then boom youre gone, no struggling to get up to speed. This audi is too slow, a 15 year old MDX is quicker…

    • @DMCarReviews

I've had absolutely no difficulties getting around traffic and merging with minimal input, as can be seen in the video. If hitting 0-60 time records is your goal, cars like the Model X Plaid exist. I was very happy with the power and torque👍 If I launched it, it would have done a 6.7s run. The average SUV in Europe does 0-60 in 10-11s, and it's plenty.

P.S - The 2009 Infiniti FX35 would on average do 7's, and that felt like a very fast SUV, and even today feels super quick in normal traffic, and this car does just as good👌

Absolutely untrue! Anything under 10s is more than plenty. I've drive 14-21 second cars, and I was able to drive normally without any issues and you here telling me 7 seconds isn't enough. Ok lol!!!
