I noticed, Moondrop tip toes. Since he activates when the lights go out, and the kids are sleeping. It's genius really, he goes for kids who are awake, by tip toeing to avoid waking other kids up.
Tbh I think Roxanne is being possessed and flattered by Glitchtrap currently, which is why she was talking to herself, and later on appears to be fighting herself
Even though Sundrop is kinda creepy he seems really lonely and just wants to spend time with people, I really love his personality so far and I kinda hope he shows up later in the game because he seems so kind. He just slowly and gently lifts you up as not to hurt you, but to keep you safe and contained in the daycare :)
As a child caretaker, I do almost the same thing as Sun. You keep them entertained in a safe space where you can watch them at all times - I felt he reflected his role well and I'm glad he wasn't evil
@@spicepandaexe I will say though, I would have gone for a time out instead of kicking him out of the daycare. Y'know, considering everything else going on in the Pizzaplex lol
@@ellie-angel9254 that would be a good idea for another chlenge task thing like he puts Gregory in a maze area as a time-out and when you try to escape he kicks you out for being a double rule breaker
the funnier thing is actually that he avoided it in such an _on-brand way_--by using the day part to find the generators ahead of time, while it was safe, and then speedrunning the night time
did it first rime, less than 3 minutes. I took a few minutes before looking from above at the area, then went down the flume and memorised the wires. Even said "oh i bet this is gonna do something bad." Hit the button and lights out. Muted the mic, and started recording and just bolted.
Considering how concerned Sundrop sounds when you first knock over the obstacles, I have to wonder if the animatronics are being punished or harmed in some way to make them act properly. These animatronics seem quite a bit more… sentient than the ones in past games so any sort of consequence would likely affect them quite a bit more. It would also explain to some degree why Chica, Monty, and Roxy work so hard to find Gregory. Furthermore, the security guard is rather… unnecessarily rough with Freddy concerning his malfunction on stage.
Spoiler alert! . . . . . . . . Remember the part and service scene? Vanessa (Vanny) told Freddy that if he is involved in helping Gregory (us), he would be scrapped and replaced with new endo. More Spoiler Alert! - Vanny has the button that can disassemble 'things' by using helping bots. - Moreover, in one of the ending where both of them escaped through the dock, we saw the article that Mr. Hippo replaced Freddy instead like Monty did with Bonnie. - Basically, do or die situation for the animatronics plus with hacking program included.
Wait a second, why couldn't Gregory stay in the daycare with Sun drinking Fizzy-Faz till 6? Sounds safer than wandering around guided by an 80s inspired rockstar robobear...
True point but then again , 1. Vanny would definitely find Gregory 2. Gregory didn't turn off the lights and moon would appear anyway 3. How would Gregory leave? If a security person * especially Vanessa * they would wonder why Gregory stayed there past pizzaplex hours with sun? 4. Fizzy faz has WAY too much sugar lol
it’s literally painful to watch matt hide literally right in front of animatronics after the game told him that hiding when an animatronic can see you will result in you being found
All while distracting himself by constantly speculating every stretch imaginable to believe that Gregory is a robot or something instead of just, you know, a homeless kid…
My theory, based on other comments I’ve seen: Sun and Moon were most likely created to watch over children. Since they’re in a daycare, Sun would probably be the entertainer/caretaker, making sure they stay safe and in a place were he can see them so they don’t disappear somewhere. This could explain why he gets so high-pitched when you knock over the barrels, as well as his attempts to keep you away from the security stuff. Moon, on the other hand, is like a watchman/defense system, considering he seems to be built to look after sleeping kids (or “good ones) and punish/send to sleep the kids who aren’t asleep (or “naughty” ones). However, Moon also has the possible potential to be a security measure against people like Afton. If a robber/killer is trying to go after the kids, Moon would hear them and stop them. And like Freddy states, he could go to even more drastic measures if the entire building gets its power cut off, because with the buildings power off, Moon has access to the entire Pizzaplex, where he could then “punish” whoever is there. TL;DR Sun/Moon are both a new entertainer and a security measure
There could be some form of connection between Sun and Moon and Puppet. Similar body shapes, as well as their intended purpose being to protect children. Sun/moon could be important for figuring out what the hell's going on with puppet.
obvious, the moment you leave the matt, Sun picks you up and returns you and is all "having fun yet?????????????" Where as Moon is more aggresive, most likely the predator setting. Attacking unregistered people. So he'd attack Gregory as he isnt on file, as well as anyone breaking in during nap time to assault the kids. The ultimate anti peado animatronic.
Fun fact: The security area in the daycare is a safe hiding spot as moon/sun can't get u there. It gives u time to breathe & use the cameras to hunt for the generators
Thanks for this I'm on my 2ed try if trying to turn on the gens and I have 4/5 turned on and I'm freaking out trying to find the last one with out dieing so thanks again for this :,,,,]
@@StickyApplePie Your welcome. If it helps there are 3 play areas. So looking out from the security area: There are 3 in the large right structure (1 on the bottom & 2 in the middle-upper part of the structure), 1 in at the bottom of the middle structure, & 1 in the middle of the small left structure
Thank you- wish I had figured that out. Def good to know for future runs. I swear tho. Turning around in the play structure to see him tiptoeing toward you is the worst. Nearly pooped myself.
Just realized that when you get the daycare pass, Freddy says it's great news, which means he, at least, knows Sunny well enough to know he won't hurt you or alert Vanessa. It's kinda cute
My theory about why he's helping: They were all reprogrammed/hacked but Freddy dodged it thanks to the malfunction, and they are indeed supposed to be friendly
@@yonko_lucid well I kinda saw something that's a bit of a spoiler. Freddy is programmed to not be able to see vanny, Exactly what this means I don't know yet, but it's something.
Yes totally safe for little kids to play with. I don't see anything bad happening Lol. I like to think that the sun guy trys to keep watch for the kids being near those
Seeing as how many children got killed or was missing in the other Frazbear restaurants, I can see why they designed Sun and Moon to be more focused on the children’s protection
Honestly, I was alright with that. If Steel Wool is giving me a Freddy-shaped X-01 Power Suit, you can bet your Bethesda I'm going to use every ounce of its energy finding loot in high-alert areas. I was more frustrated that he wasn't using the distraction mechanic they clearly defined work on Sundrop to distract Moondrop, though they weren't having that much trouble with him (compared to Markiplier, of course, who I watch first). Knowing a mechanic exists and not seeing it utilized is frustrating.
@@SolstaceWinters it’s just the fact that he wouldn’t utilize the hiding places to hide from Roxanne either- he wouldn’t get to see much tho from Freddy’s view since there’s a low battery notification and when he loses battery, he loses his protection.
@@SolstaceWinters I also watched Marks first here, I'm literally only watching Mats for his commentary on the lore so I am A-OK with him deep diving around for lore lol but I get why it could be frustrating xD
I think the reason Freddy is being helpful in this one is because he's disconnected from the main network due to the glitch. So when the bots get set I to "hunt Gregory mode" he didn't get the command.
Maybe because the beginning of the game Freddy was malfunctioning besides he was under construction too. I mean wouldn’t it make sense for the animaltronics workers to disable Freddy main network ?
@@CrimsonWolf_VT2 I don't think k he could have gotten in the before the show started. There is a moment just before Freddy breaks down where he picks out an individual in the crowd. Can we talk about Chica's weak knees? She always has them buckled, sometimes they're shaking, mostly her right leg. The one that doesn't match the rest of her colour scheme. Food for thought
@@krissirg That's what I was thinking. As someone who grew up in that Era, matching leg warmers and colour coordination weren't a priority. The louder the prouder.
Can we just get a Series of Matt and Steph Reviewing the various Fazzbear Resturants? Not as Theorists, but as Parents looking for a place to hold their childs Birthday party.
This whole Moondrop sequence feels like a nod to Slenderman, in terms of mechanics. He doesn't really bother you at zero generators, but the more you get, the more rough it is to dodge him.
I'm really impressed how quickly you got out of the daycare, it was a big brain move thinking to scout it out before turning off the lights on your second try.
Fun Fact: Kellen Goff does the voices of both the Sun and Moon as well as Freddy. It shows just how much range Kellen has as a voice actor. Kellen also did the voice of Diavolo from Jojo's part 5. You can hear Diavolo when Freddy talks.
yea and even tho they made a save point in the atrium it is still painful to this day to have to go all the way back there to save everytime you want to. Was it that hard to leave all the save points working?
@@youtubewontletmeits suppose to be a challenge after 6am, basically forcing you to beat Chica/Monty (depending on who you destroyed first) and Afton in one go
They got through that so fast, they didn't even realize that after turning on 3 gens, the Moon climbs into the labyrinth with you and becomes more agro.
The sun even skips over and poses on his way to pick up children and return them to a safe play space. He also actively panics when a mess is made meaning he is sentient enough to be stressed by his job while also knowing he has to maintain a clean environment for the children’s safety. So sun rise and moon drop are the only sentient animatronic that isn’t malfunctioning.
i dont know if this counts as malfunctioning or just because vanny's controlling all of them but im pretty sure moon isn't normally supposed to be aggresive lol
@@AgatetheSkyWing I think he is, I like the theory that says moon comes out when the power is out to protect the kids from someone who might want to hurt them (afton, cof)
@@AgatetheSkyWing Someone said that since Gregory isn’t on file, Moon sees him as an intruder and gets aggressive. This can be countered with the message from the parent about the night terrors, though.
@@_JustJoe I wouldn't say it's a counter since some kids are scared by anything and this is a massive robot that when you think about doesn't seem like a kid friendly design
All I gotta say is that the daycare sequence evoked a sense of otherworldly dread within me because I've had nightmares about nearly that exact thing. A kid's play area that's colorful but confusing and WAY bigger than you'd expect, trying to navigate through the structures in the dark while something chases me. I figured it was only a matter of time before I saw a game do that, but I didn't think it would shake me this violently tbh
Feel that, the whole night part of the day care feels like one of those dreams where your running but you don’t go anywhere. Basically a giant fever dream no matter who plays it
Idk, moondrop isn't that bad until you trigger 3 generators. You may have not seen it. But after 3 generators he actualy gets faster and runs after you on all 4's. He also Enters the climbing structures at that point.
That whole playground part is genius and terrifying The thought of a seemingly repetitive yet confusing maze while being chased is just down right stomach churning
Plus, there’s this feeling of “I REALLY shouldn’t be here” with the empty daycare turns that a fun place full of joy into a nightmare maze full of toddler grime.
It's so frustrating that about 95% of chat got the flashlight upgrade location wrong, so then when they finally had someone say the right location (on top of the castle) they never bothered to check
Yeah I got it on my plathrough before I even got the lights off. I knew it was there from out of bounds videos I had seen before and I really just wanted them to get it since your flashlight power can get op later from the other upgrades you can get.
@@chaseuk8621 Yeah, I made a comparison and the results are that the flashlight lasts ~5 minutes without any upgrades, but ~10 minutes with the upgrades.
Mat: Alright, let's take this slowly and find every piece of lore about how bad Dave is. Markiplier: Okay, Chika got me that time, but if I go a little faster, she won't
if you think about it, it's a little funny how the same universe featuring robots advanced enough to walk and talk autonomously can't have a flashlight last longer than 10 minutes
Yeah... I guess it would be pretty challenging to give them a decent battery when you have to make room for all the dead children your gonna cram in there sooner or later... don't know how you could fit a kid in a flashlight though
@Lolmaster22 I could be wrong, but at the start when the guard talks with Freddy, she told him Parts and Service put him under low power mode or something like that after the stage incident. That would explain why he's the only animatronic that needs to be recharged so often.
The definition of infuriation is a chat full of people giving the streamer wrong/incorrect advice, which they try to follow, then the one person gives them the _actual_ correct answer (the upgrade is on the castle in this case) and they still miss it and give up...
Yeah, unfortunately telling my screen that said streamer should go to the castle or just walk a little bit further down the hallway in order to see the stairwell up to the top of the tower did not work. That was difficult to watch for me.
After watching so many of these, I think it's safe to say "Plot O Clock" is legit. Cause time doesn't seem to move forward until you complete the missions. Also, MatPat's gaming instinct skills are still subpar.
Honestly, I understand MatPat not wanting to miss anything, but the fact that doors in the area require higher security should tell him he can come back after the urgency is passed.
That is true, however as a counter point, sometimes there are things you could only find the first time. I don't think there's anything like that in this game, but I've seen other games where some things are only able to be seen the first time. A decent example is in breath of the wild, before completing the tutorial you can get a warm doublet from the old man, but after you complete it you can't do that anymore.
But also, there are areas like the daycare that straight-up kick you out permanently without warning - where you CAN miss things forever if you're not careful. So I understand him wanting to be careful. It's a very normal gamer instinct to search every area thoroughly before moving on, in case you get locked out of something.
@@LordofFullmetal I understand the instinct. I'm a click-on-every-barrel-and-npc rpg player as well. That all changes when things go into first person perspective for me, lol. But yes, I understand the drive; just expressing a counter logic to vent tension.
@@LordofFullmetal each game is different and you have to read the tone, if you are in a high action area that doesn't stop or chase they likely isn't something missable, a stealth or quiet area might. P.s plus that's what 2nd playthroughs for
@@meh8396 I didn't realise that was Kellen too! It's so different from his Funtime Freddy! Sun Drop and Moon Drop track though, I wondered why I was enjoying them so much as well. XD
Theory time: the reason moon exists is to hunt down robbers and criminals. Sun is shown to entertain the kids and even though it is nighttime the lights in the daycare are still on. Moon seems obsessed with punishment. If someone were to cut the power then the lights in the daycare would go out. Same with the other rooms. The reason moon is confined to the daycare is because the lights are on everywhere else in the building. If the power goes out then moon has full access to the building meaning he can hunt down any intruders. I believe this robot is a improved version of the toy animtronics. Sun is meant to keep a eye on kids inside the daycare and keep them safe. The reason he is so focused on keeping kids entertained is so they don't want to follow anyone.
@Sime 100 later in the game moon shows up way away from the day care, freddy actually explains that whenever the power goes out moon is free to roam the whole complex
it’s so interesting that there are finally animatronics that are prioritized around children’s safety (sun and moon) and are aware enough to search for and try to comfort a lost child (glamrocks) instead of just munching on anything found after hours like in previous games. these are the most child-friendly killer robots we’ve ever seen!
@@arctic_brothers728 the theory you're referring to is my pet peeve theory lol you know, one of those things that you see and you get why people believe it without seriously questioning it because not everyone has binged the game theory lore playlist several times in the past week, but it still drives me a little nuts 😂 there's absolutely zero evidence to support the idea. people use this "Bonnie is the most aggressive in other games!" logic which isn't supported by any evidence in the first place, and there's no connection between Glam Rock Bonnie and previous versions of Bonnie. previous Bonnies were aggressive bc they had child souls in them who became aggressive when they saw someone (the player) who they thought looked like their killer. FNAF 2 animatronics were canonically on the fritz bc they had been tampered with. the only real animatronic in FNAF 3 was Springtrap; the rest were hallucinations. none of the animatronics in FNAF 4 are real. Bonnie is BARELY in Sister Location as BonBon the hand puppet, and OG Bonnie's endoskeleton was melted down with the other OGs to make the Funtime animatronics, who partially went on to become Ennard and then Molten Freddy, who was destroyed at the end of FNAF 6, but the spirits of the original dead kids were released in FNAF 3. none of the animatronics in ultimate custom night were real, either, because they were all the product of Cassidy (the vengeful spirit, one of the two spirits in Golden Freddy) tormenting William Afton in a purgatory-like state. TLDR there is not a single piece of actual evidence for the aggressive Bonnie theory, but there is significant evidence for aggressive Monty.
After watching multiple playthroughs I can say Mat’s is the most refreshing. Taking time to collect and then read each message that comes with the bags is great. If you guys read this don’t listen to chat keep playing slow. No ones found any lore because they’re rushing through the game.
Yep! I missed live stream yesterday, or just couldn't find it, so I ended up watching Cavemanfilms livestream for 7 hrs, and Mat's gameplay so far is nice cause I usually don't have to wonder about small little things in the game that other people just walk past, if that makes sense. :)
Agreed. I just watched Markiplier's upload, but he was just trying to get through the game itself (he did find a couple of items but didn't really pay any attention to them). I like MatPat's lore-focused play because, even if he dies more often, he's going to make sure no plush is left laying about.
It's funny when the Phone Guy gives you instructions on how to survive the midnight at the restaurant. In this game, Freddy Fazbear is the new Phone Guy here but more advanced.
No kidding. I would actually stay with the Sun. He seems obsessed with keeping you in the playground and in his sight. So he probably wouldn't let anyone else take you away until the authorities showed up.
Nah. He tries to entertain you a bit but when you take the card and accidentally turn out the lights when you turn them back on he throws you out and _alerts the other Animatronics on you._ You may say he's justified in throwing you out for breaking the 'rules' but he then loses that when he puts you in danger again.
@@damonskyheart9097 Well his base programming probably doesn't think that the other animatronics are going to murder you, so when he calls for security hes probably expecting them to just throw you out or something

After seeing so many cycles of dialogue from the animatronics as they search for you, I've come to one conclusion: Roxy is the definition of *intense*. Compared to the rest of the crew who's coyly trying to coax out a little kid, she's out here like, "NOBODY WILL MISS YOU." "I BET YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE FRIENDS." "COME BACK OUT, YOU COWARD!" Bonus food for thought: Since I heard most of the cycles after our "race" with Roxy, I thought it was all fierce and vicious because we really hurt her and her ego, but you can see in this video that she's pretty savage even early on. They put so much emphasis on her fragile mental state in the intro and throughout the game, WAY more than any other character besides possibly Freddy himself, and that's saying a lot when the cast includes an alligator with anger issues and a brainwashed serial killer in a hand-stitched bunny costume. Interesting how they keep their character arcs rather plain in comparison to Roxy, especially when she isn't the only animatronic replacing a member from the original gang. It feels too suspiciously deep to leave untouched or unmentioned at the game's end... Could it be a little puzzle we're meant to piece together long after Security Breach's release? I'll eat my rhetorical questions if I'm the only one missing the pieces and they've already been provided by the game. X3
I love Sundrop. Honestly, if I were in this situation in real life, I’d just stay with him for the whole time. If the lights went out, I’d run and hide and attempt to get them back on so I could stay with Sun some more. Purely because he’s nice.
Although it was kind of rushed right over in a few lines of dialogue, the reason why the animatronics are trying to catch you is because Vanessa told them to. When she catches Freddy for the first time you'll recall she told him to let her know if he sees you and adds that "I already told the others" this is backed up by the dialogue that the other animatronics say when trying to find you, especially Roxanne who sometimes says "I'm going to be the one to find him, me!" This also explains why immediately after that conversation you start encountering the other animatronics who were previously locked in their rooms, you had to unlock Freddy's room, it only makes sense that Vanessa unlocked the other rooms.

Weirdly enough I actually like the Sun man thing animatronic, Ignoring his more creepy and scary Moon side. He seems to be a fun happy go lucky guy who just wants you to have fun, sure he can be a bit creepy but for the most part he's pretty gentle and tame with Gregory
I just had a thought - what if Sun is aware of the history of harm to children at the franchise? I have no idea how exactly he would know this, but what if he did? it would certainly explain his manic desire to keep you directly in his sight and keep you entertained so you don't go wandering off anywhere or with anyone who isn't as invested as he is in your well-being. when I think about it, he doesn't strike me as creepy. he strikes me as scared which is just expressing itself in behavior that seems creepy when you don't know the context. maybe he's just desperate to keep kids safe. maybe he heard someone talking about the history of Freddy's, idk
Definitely, and I think a lot of the 'creepy vibes' he gives off are just due to the fact that there's a lot of fear in his voice. Badly hidden fear too, poorly masked by false positivity, made all the more suspicious by the fact that he tries to distract you with offers of fun activities, and not let you out of his sight. Of course, once you do get out of his sight and turn the lights off you realize how well-founded his fear is... He's a good dude trying his best, trying to keep himself and the player safe. And once he realizes he can't be safe around you, he just tosses you out gently and calls security. Which, it's important to mention, I don't think he realizes that doing so puts you in any real danger. I don't think Sun is in on the whole murder plot, based on the fact that he doesn't alert security or try to capture you the moment he first sees you, the way every other bot does. Moon might be though. Maybe having two separate AIs meant that only the one that was currently active got corrupted when the bots got hacked, idk. (Not spoilers, I haven't seen past the end of hour 1 yet. This is just a guess.)
Same! I kinda love him. All of his creepiness is the result of his fear. He knows that there is some severe danger in the area, and is doing the best he can to make sure to keep himself and you safe. He knows the danger of the situation, but he doesn’t want to scare you by telling you of the danger, so he’s just desperately trying to keep you safe by keeping things secret from you, but still wants you to be happy. At the end of the day, he just wants the kid to be safe, and wants to let the kid have fun, it’s just he’s painfully aware of the danger of the situation, and is just doing his best to hide it.
MatPat is probably the smartest person to finish this level. No one else I've seen (Razzbowski and Markiplier) had thought to scout out the generators beforehand.
The only reason he scouted out the place before hand was so he could look for lore. But it does make this process of watching the Sun/Moon scene more bearable. I think the Moon guy is one of the scariest animatronics there are.
After a few generators moondrop goes on all 4's and speeds up. He also enters the structures at that point. Tho often ppl finish this part before Moondrop has a chance to actualy get kind of scary
I'm kind of wondering what Moondrop's actual purpose is. Obviously Sundrop's purpose is to play with the kids in the daycare, but what does Moondrop do? Do the kids in the daycare have naptime where the lights go out and Moondrop is supposed to make sure they all stay asleep? Does he play a sinister game if hide and seek with the kids and the adults just haven't realized it??

I recommend knocking over all the blocks as quickly as possible then immediately entering the play structures. For me this resulted in SunDrop getting stuck on the first set of blocks (multiple times) so that even if you leave the play structure he just stands over there staring at you. This presents a great opportunity to find all the generators and map out a quick and simple path to all five of them. On top of that him getting stuck on the first stack of blocks has the added benefit of having all the other stacks of blocks still being knocked over when he respawns as MoonDrop. Important: don’t knock over the first stack of blocks again until after the lights go out because you will “un-stick” SunDrop and he will start cleaning up the other blocks before you turn off the lights. Once the lights are out and the cutscene ends MoonDrop will run off to start re-setting up the blocks. I recommend immediately running up and knocking over that first stack again and then quickly running to the play structures to run the route you came up with to get the generators. If you figured out a good and relatively clear path to all the generators the knocked over blocks should give you plenty of time. Also when they last patched the game you CAN save at the day care desk before you turn off the lights.
I wish that they had made a small color change to the wires once the generator it was attached to was turned on. It would've prevented back-tracking to the same generators.
@@cherie..cherry Any possible visual indicator would work. I'd say the generator could've had a faint humming sound, but MoonMan is so talkative you wouldn't be able to hear it well enough.
My theory is that the generators are setup after the mall closes so that the lights don’t go out in the daycare area. It’s an insurance policy to keep the animatronic transformation from happening. I assume the generators are put away before the mall is open for business.
@@katrose5179 Fair point but I can’t imagine those generators being out in the play area during operating hours. I find it hilarious that Mat did the entire Moon encounter without using the main mechanic of knocking over the box stacks to distract him
the funnier thing is actually that he avoided it in such an _on-brand way_--by using the day part to find the generators ahead of time, while it was safe, and then speedrunning the night time
And that he had the brightness so high up that it was easy to see
That was because people kept complaining.
yeah right? and he was in crouch mode for like 90 percent of it
Funny thing is the speed run for this game you distract moondrop once and the path you take makes it so it can never catch up.
The scariest part of the moon sequence is the fact that Mat doesn't actively look for where the moon is, so you don't know how close he is.
well you can vaguelly guess based on the music
It was rough watching him clearly go in a circle and being surprised that he end up where he had already been.
did it first rime, less than 3 minutes. I took a few minutes before looking from above at the area, then went down the flume and memorised the wires. Even said "oh i bet this is gonna do something bad." Hit the button and lights out. Muted the mic, and started recording and just bolted.
just like spiders..
That was literally me playing. 😭 somehow I won and got all the generators

Of course the yellow dorito is smart enough to make his own theory.
LIT
obvious, the moment you leave the matt, Sun picks you up and returns you and is all "having fun yet?????????????" Where as Moon is more aggresive, most likely the predator setting. The sun even skips over and poses on his way to pick up children and return them to a safe play space. Steph: "We. Are going. To DIE!"
@@TheVardener Yeah, I was thinking this. You don't want to leave an area without looking around incase you cannot go back to it.

@Sime 100 moo moves around freely though. You can see him crawling around in the beginning, too.
@Sime 100 wasnt moon able to escape the daycare tho?
@Sime 100 later in the game moon shows up way away from the day care, freddy actually explains that whenever the power goes out moon is free to roam the whole complex

it’s so interesting that there are finally animatronics that are prioritized around children’s safety (sun and moon) and are aware enough to search for and try to comfort a lost child (glamrocks) instead of just munching on anything found after hours like in previous games. these are the most child-friendly killer robots we’ve ever seen!

there's absolutely zero evidence to support the idea. people use this "Bonnie is the most aggressive in other games!" logic which isn't supported by any evidence in the first place, and there's no connection between Glam Rock Bonnie and previous versions of Bonnie. previous Bonnies were aggressive bc they had child souls in them who became aggressive when they saw someone (the player) who they thought looked like their killer.

To be fair, The Sun seems like he's the best of all of the animatronics, he's actually doing what he's built to do

After seeing so many cycles of dialogue from the animatronics as they search for you, I've come to one conclusion: Roxy is the definition of *intense*. Compared to the rest of the crew who's coyly trying to coax out a little kid, she's out here like, "NOBODY WILL MISS YOU." "I BET YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE FRIENDS." "COME BACK OUT, YOU COWARD!"
Bonus food for thought:
Since I heard most of the cycles after our "race" with Roxy, I thought it was all fierce and vicious because we really hurt her and her ego, but you can see in this video that she's pretty savage even early on.
Props to the sun guy he genuinely feared for the kid about what would happen if the lights went out
I love Sundrop. Honestly, if I were in this situation in real life, I’d just stay with him for the whole time. If the lights went out, I’d run and hide and attempt to get them back on so I could stay with Sun some more. Purely because he’s nice.
@@sleepy-emerald yeah he wants to have fun with the kids :D
@@sleepy-emerald I'd ask him what happens if the lights turn off
Although it was kind of rushed right over in a few lines of dialogue, the reason why the animatronics are trying to catch you is because Vanessa told them to. When she catches Freddy for the first time you'll recall she told him to let her know if he sees you and adds that "I already told the others" this is backed up by the dialogue that the other animatronics say when trying to find you, especially Roxanne who sometimes says "I'm going to be the one to find him, me!" This also explains why immediately after that conversation you start encountering the other animatronics who were previously locked in their rooms, you had to unlock Freddy's room, it only makes sense that Vanessa unlocked the other rooms.
i love how huge everything is. you're a little kid getting hunted by 7 foot tall animatronics, all the buttons are at eye level. it makes everything so much more tense

Despite the terrifying animatronics, it would be really cool if a place like this actually did exist.
Yeah, I suppose it would be popular. I mean if you take out the whole killing robot vibe and missing people, then it would be a fun time.
In Britain there’s a chain holiday home kinda place where in the main plaza they have a huge play area like this one I spent hours in it as a kid

53:30 The pain in freddy's voice. You can really tell he misses Bonnie before he actually says it a while later.
Weirdly enough I actually like the Sun man thing animatronic, Ignoring his more creepy and scary Moon side. He seems to be a fun happy go lucky guy who just wants you to have fun, sure he can be a bit creepy but for the most part he's pretty gentle and tame with Gregory
right! he sounds like he's trying so hard lol, definitely one of my favourite characters so far
he’s a little crazy but he definitely means well i like him
I just had a thought - what if Sun is aware of the history of harm to children at the franchise?
I actually did that on my play through it makes it ten times easier
@@ms.crochet30 Or the other guys Mark and Razz? just didn’t think to check out the area beforehand

If anyone's wondering, there actually is a battery upgrade in the daycare. It is near the ballpit, in one of the castle towers.
Moon drop is 100% the most scariest, it's like how your parents can be kind, but seconds later can be rude.
Well, can be a bro but then become the one guy who dominates the battlefield entirely solo.
Yeah, Kellen Goff did such an incredible job with Sun and Moon, he's creepy as Sun and TERRIFYING as Moon. Such a great VA.
I know right
Hey, you doing okay?
I'm kind of wondering what Moondrop's actual purpose is. Obviously Sundrop's purpose is to play with the kids in the daycare, but what does Moondrop do? Do the kids in the daycare have naptime where the lights go out and Moondrop is supposed to make sure they all stay asleep? Does he play a sinister game if hide and seek with the kids and the adults just haven't realized it??
Hey Mat, whenever an animatronic is checking your hiding spot, jump out while they’re checking the spot. You’ll have time to run away since they’re still locked in the checking action.

You ended the first one immediately after “you should fire Dave. He sucks”
I’m very happy
I just watched Mark’s part one, the difference in approaches never makes me not laugh

Markiplier, King of FNAF: "I am speed. I am the definition of speed. Looking in a dictionary for 'speed', and you find my picture. In a thesaurus, I am a synonym for the word 'speed'."
Honestly frustrating, though. Like, I get that Mat's a lore guy, but the novelty of watching him fumble and drag his feet wears off fast. Sequences where he's obviously supposed to do something quickly are just annoying, now. I wish he'd just play the game normally on the first playthrough and then look for secrets during the next.
You mean Mark actually plays the game like a competent gamer and Matt plays like he's never played a game before in his life? Everyone should just watch Mark play for the content and wait for the Theory from Matt if they actually want to enjoy this game
@@jackrockriley4295 Honestly I feel the EXACT same way but then I also remember that Mark plays a LOT of other games completely unconventionally (take for instance, Among Us or Undertale, which are really just the tip of the iceberg lol) and his biggest point is always that he is going to play the game the way that is enjoyable for him, period. Mat's a completionist and he's going to scrounge for lore everywhere he can. Which is why I just won't watch him play and will come back for lore episodes :-3
I actually feel like Mark doesn’t care about the game. I feel like he’s tired of fnaf
I noticed that the time seems to directly compare to the story. So instead of time passing, they’ll give you alerts of it being a certain time at a certain point in the game. PRO TIP for the daycare. There are like 5 or so stacks of the cylindrical blocks you can knock over (some of which are just a single cylinder) SunDrop and MoonDrop will prioritize cleaning them up at all times during this mission. Additionally SunDrop will Not follow you into the play structures when the lights are on.
I love how when Gregory says that everything is out to get him, Freddy is like I'm not. Just makes him more human like.
I wish that they had made a small color change to the wires once the generator it was attached to was turned on. It would've prevented back-tracking to the same generators.
